I started a similar business for Motorcycles, in the late 90's. My main problem was getting certain brands of Tyres ??? Some, wholesalers refused to sell to me for a few reasons ??? At that time, I didn't have a permanent shop to work from. And some Motorcycle shops put a hold on who could sell to me ?? How this worked is. The Motorcycle shops told the Wholesaler. IF they sell to me, they will stop buying from them ?????? It was a Bullshit deal. But, their was nothing I could do about at that time. Seeing no point to continue, I sold off everything and started my current business Which is great, because I can work from home with no hassles 👍👍
What is your flooring in back of van made of and also how have you secured tyre machine + balancer down? I’m about to set up my van and need to know. Mines is fresh plyboard
It is pretty much the standard floor that we have drilled right through but we put metal plates on before underneath then we put 2 nuts on the bolts. Good luck with your venture
Hi there. I started same thing in bulgaria. i have a question, what is your source of electricity, because i use a gasoline generator and it's so loud inside. thank you and good luck
Hi boss. Whats the sore with tire balancer please ? Do you have to calibrate it few times per day, before every customer ? Does it not have to be on perfectly leveled surface for balancing? Wonder if adding adjustable legs to the balancer and leveling balancer with spirit level before each customer would sort it all out.
Generally we have no issues with the balancer and will only re set it if we get inconsistent readings, we also don't get issues with the leveling, the main thing is to keep the van still when operating it and no machines running. If it's windy we balance static using the machine in the off mode
The nail is not on the shoulder, where the patch would sit for that replacement it would not flex the patch and leak so it is completely safe to repair
Hey! I currently do tires out of my home garage. I’ve been doing tires since 2005. I’m considering starting this service in Florida in my area. Do you think we could chat some?

@@FreewayMobileTyres Much appretiated
Hoping you’ve fitted a sound proof Conti to that Tesla👍
Doesn’t need to be conti. Michelin make TO(tesla original) tyres and the majority of new teslas come with Michelin’s on
And slapping any acoustic tyre on is no good either. Had to have the TO mark
I'm more surprised you patched that tyre up. Its normally a full tyre replacement for that outer wall
The nail is not on the shoulder, where the patch would sit for that replacement it would not flex the patch and leak so it is completely safe to repair
Where do you get the tyres from ?
Our wholesalers
