Cool man! I used to load Amazon freight a couple of years ago at KABE, now I am a truck driver for FedEx but I haven’t given up on the dream of becoming a commercial pilot…
@@TheOtakuphillMight be a lot of time if he hasn't started yet! By the time he reaches ATP they'll be asking for 1,000 turbine just to sit right seat again.
Woooow. I stumbled across your video and was saying..... he looks like the Grey Hound guy. I started reading through some of your comments and realized...... this IS the Grey Hound guy!!! Ive been trucking for 23 years now and decided to switch to the charter bus side at the beginning of the pandemic. Needless to say, I stayed in trucking a few years longer, which is when I came across your videos. I've been in the bus business for 2 years now and mostly enjoying. I'm also in the process of earning my PPL lol. I really don't think I'm going to join the airlines but hey..... who knows 🤷🏾♂️. I'm proud of you Doc, you always follow your dreams!!! Keep up the GREAT work!!!!!
Man, I’ve seen you go from Greyhound to this. So proud of you. I did something similar, I drove for USA Truck for a year. I quit and went back to flight school finishing my ratings and later going to a regional. Now I’m at a major airline. I hope to see you at the big U soon dawg!
Congratulations again, Phillip for moving right up the ladder. Schedule is a little rough but overall I'd much prefer it to rotating shift work like I did for a long long time. Cool you're up in a 757/767 now. Log those hours and have a great time. You deserve every bit of it.
Wowww!Lol lol lol Hey hey !whata feeling, so happy for ya !You get places fast !Praise the lord!Hope ya consider a book ,From security guard to Jumbo Jett pilot !Prayers jeep the almighty leading the way!
Very nice seeing this journey. So what's next? You can fly for so many carriers with that 757/767 type rating. 747's with Atlas/Kalitta? Legacy carriers? 777? 787? Open to Airbus?
Hope you start to love my Cincinnati. graeter's ice cream, Over the Rine, Eden Park, Devou Park, Newport KY, Mt Adams, Skyline Chili, Geotta, Dewey' Pizza, Penn Station East Coast Subs, the ohio river, Kings Island just a great city
Still have your cat? Bc of you I trained with Greyhound but decided it wasn’t for me after a while. Still glad I did it. Now I wanna either train with the railroad and I’d like to get my aviator license. A dream!!!!
Hey man im 17 yrs old and i go to school in Lakeland florida, could i maybe meet up with you sometime i always see ur jet taking off from there every day. I have my private and my plan is to foy corporate
Man… if you are even considering going to a legacy the time to be applying is now. That wasted career earnings and seniority aren’t worth waiting for upgrade at your current shop.
Not sure you understand the disparities at some companies. A 2 years captain at a legacy makes more than a 6 year captain here. 1st year FOs are still making $62k. The contracts are long over due.
@@CoThG most companies suck in one way or another. I consider a company you can retire at and make some good money at a main line. Not too many non main lines you can fly a 767/757 at.
@@TheOtakuphill Oh really.... Let me take a stab at it. United, Delta, UPS and FedEx all fly both and ATI isn't even in the same universe as those in regards to a career.

Are you a greyhound bus driver or pilot, what you are saying is BS take it from a retired commercial pilot with over 36500 hours check airmen type in 6 heavy jets ATP/CFII you are full of BS
From a greyhound driver to a pilot.......awesome

Don’t give up. It’s all a matter of time
