Great video Gaz. The tones on the D2 or spot on and even then you can still adjust to suit. As you know I like the Deep HF but the Park is a beast program. Great tutorial as usual. 👍👍

I know of someone who was skeptical of the Deus II here in California until he came across someone with Deus II at a school which has been hunted several times. He is not skeptical anymore since the Deus II found 60 coins behind a ball field in one spot.

Excellent demonstration of adding more contrast to the tones - I'll likely do the same. Ground is covered with thick ice here, so my Deus 2 has yet to see the outdoors.

Since I might also want to buy the Deus 2, but the price still bothers me a bit, I'm looking around for alternatives, and apparently the Legend doesn't seem to be bad. At the moment I still have my Deus 1, which I've been using for 10 years, and I've also bought a Nokta Makro Simplex for creek and bad weather searches. I really like the larger display on the Simplex and its performance is also very good for a cheaper detector. With the new Deus I think it's good that it's finally waterproof and of course the multi-frequency, but the display with the electronics box was really bigger and better for XP, and the overview on the display is totally confusing and especially for people with glasses and poor eyesight impertinence. The new Deus 2 is good, but for this price I would have expected more, especially a decent display and not such a mini display which looks very cheap, Nokta Makro, or Minelab, and Garret can do that significantly better than XP did!

Another good video Gary was wondering though on the audio response what is a good average setting so you can kind of judge your depth I know a lot of that can be personal preference but I was just kind of wondering like you know like a basic setting so you can kind of go on your faint tones being deeper 👍🦀

nice info.but I find and many seekers that the audio response is not yet perfect. a musket bullet at a depth of 15 CM is very difficult to hear. Then take program mono, this is much better.

If the musket ball has any size at all, it should blast at 15cm..... Either settings are off or audio response is to low.....
I can find very small lead slugs with no problem

Why does the Deus 2 go so deep on 40khz programs such as the General and Sensitive programs?

Hi Gary, i am about to buy the DEUS 2 and I am thinking which coil version to take. 22 or 28 what would be your suggestion. I go mostly on fields and sometimes to forest. Thank you for your great Videos they helped a lot and I got 11 silver coins now in 1,5 years and its really a part of your videos so I managed to setup the DEUS 1 very good. Sonar and Hot programs I got very deep into it with your help.

It depends on conditions, personally I like the 9" coil, but others may have different opinions

Coins are very different from country to country and from time to time. Also how it is positioned in the ground may affect the values. I got a small 18th century billon coin coming in around 49, a German Reichspfennig around 60.
