Ego Creep (Special Friday the 13th Edition)

"Ego Creep" is the third single we released from Audio Graffiti Studios. The AI created for this video was done in the spirit of a psychedelic Friday the 13th experience...great for creeping out to just before dialing up some Jason Voorhees for a nice binge-watching session :)
Ego Creep was written on the bass guitar with the use of a "sludgy" bass synth and a very dirty 6-string bass. Add in our PRS 277 baritone (tuned to a grungy B standard), and the overall tone of this song ended up very dark, heavy and ominous; hence, the lyrical content that flowed out of the universe and into our lizard brains being equally eerie. In retrospect, this tune is very Freudian in nature, ultimately about a person being haunted by their own ego (or by their uncontrollable propensity to engage in sinful acts). NineZero is once again the vocal performer on this track.
