How to connect POL LP Gas regulator to POL Gas Bottle

Hello, thanks for your message - is your gas bottle a POL fitting? If the gas bottle and regulator are both POL fitting they should fit together. Double check what the fitting is on the gas bottle. thanks!

Funny how no one ever mentions that the gas bottle's test date is current and suggest useing a gas fuse safety device, it gives an indication of gas remaining in the cylinder and especially handy if a gas fire starts, not a pretty sight and a handy fire blanket I have found invaluable, not very expensive

HI! Is sunlight liquid normal detergent? We just mix a bit of standard dishwash liquid with water to make the soapy solution for testing gas leak

Well I have just purchased a new gas can. Fitted the regulator and made sure all was tight only to have gas leaking from valve. Everything is tight so puzzled as to why there is a leak?

Thanks for your comment, it's best if you take it back to your retailer or get a licensed gas plumber to check it. There may be other reasons why it's leaking
