    I think an interesting video would be on how to get onto the yellow after potting a black off the spot, where is the best place to leave the cue ball for yourself on the black ect... its an essential shot for a 147 however you do also see some club players potting a red to get on the blue even though position for the black was easier because they know the yellow will be next, it ultimately boils down to the distance between black and yellow and confidence, it could help a lot of people improve their game.
    Also setting up will be simple...every colour on the spot :)

    Great video. It’s worst when you correct as you swing back. Also you hold the cue quite away from the rear. Unless you keep the extension on?

  • @DD93AFC
    @DD93AFC 6 місяців тому +4

    This is an interesting concept. I think I subconciously doubt my ability quite a bit (I'm still an amateur anyways lol), so often I'm missing my mark, because I don't think nearly enough about where I wanna hit the ball, before I even approach the table. I think this could potentially help me quite a bit. I don't mind missing, but it gets to me, when I miss something I know I'm able to pot, or I have been able to pot in the past. That's the worst part, which then creates the doubt sometimes. I'll try this next time I play. Just wanted to add, I play pool and not snooker, but I still think this can apply to pool just as well for me.

    can you please tell me do you look at pocket during featuring or in the final backswing or before delivery ?
    or the pocket should be in the background or prepheral vision at all the time?
    i used to look at the cueball as when i was about to hit the cueball but a coach told me years ago to look at object ball , since then i have been having this problem that during features i go like , cueball, objectball, pocket and then cueball , then i look at the objectball as about to hit but i think i move my eyes to pocket while the tip is about to hit the cueball, and i miss alot of shots, should i go back to my old aiming method and look at the cueball when i about to hit the cueball or looking at pocket is normal ?
    tnx alot for your nice videos

    You can pot any ball in a corner pocket with enough angle to pot it. What about the middle? I would love an experiment to see the narrowest angle this could be achieved. For example could a ball be potted from along the rail into the middle if the ball comes to a dead stop over the pocket?

    Working out the potting angle is simple. Pushing the cue through dead straight under pressure, or judging the arc of the cue ball when using side is what makes the game difficult and drawing lines on a table won’t help one bit with that.

      Same here. I can make tight shots in to middle pockets that my opponents say make no sense to go for as they’re so hard yet I have no consistency and can rarely get a break in to the teens 😂
