Rest In Peace Ray Liotta, you will greatly be missed!
His laughter is identical to when in the film he explains that he didn't allow Cobb to use the field to play.
I told him to stick it.
and when he laughed at Joe Pesci’s joke in Goodfellas
“You’re a funny guy…”
Additional trivia: As Ray mentioned, his mother died during the filming of Goodfellas, a year later (in which Ray played gangster/informant Henry Hill). Ray used his anger and sadness about her death in his angry/violent scenes, particularly the scene where he pistol whipped the guy who sexually harassed his wife.
Underrated actor
Liotta spoke to an acting class I was in and though he is(was?) not the most eloquent of gentlemen he communicated his thoughts elegantly. He also took a generous amount of time answering, mostly stupid, questions.
That is really sad to hear. Hopefully one day he will be able to face those emotions and be the right time for him to see it. It’s an excellent film, an American classic for all ages...
I think it's a center of a lot of pain for Ray. He never watches his own movies. the only one he has seen a couple of times is Goodfellas, and that's because he can't really avoid it. Sadly, this experience in his life may have tainted his ability to watch his own movies
Spoilers: he didn't.
It's so sad that they miss out on these wonderful works of theater magic just because they happened to be in them lol
@MANCHESTER UNITED F.C so we should like it because its popular?
@M k
There are several actors that don’t watch their own movies….
Quite obviously not the reason he didn’t watch it haha
@M What does that have anything at all to do with this particular video? And there is like 197 countries not 240.
Ray Liotta is so handsome in this film.
so uh joanie some people say i look like ray liotta.....
Colin seems like the type who would’ve said he watched himself if Ray Liotta said he did too.
I think Colin only listens to himself.
Rest in peace Ray
I never thought I'd have something in common with Cowherd, but I also feel really uncomfortable watching him.
Maybe his desk is inexplicably 10 feet above his guests.
I recently watched the movie again. I watched the "special features" where Liotta says he read the script and was hooked by the third page. He goes on to say things like he just knew he had to do the movie and how much it meant to him. It is sad that actors - well people in general - lie just for money. What is it Ray? Did you love it or it meant nothing?
You do realize being an actor by trade is literally lying for a living, right?
@@sullivan0099 The OP is referring to an interview, not a scene in the movie.
He didn't say it meant nothing. He said he didn't get it at first.
RIP and long live Ray Liotta (December 18, 1954 - May 26, 2022), aged 67
You will always be remembered as a legend.
He’s a funny guy
What do you mean he's funny?
Funny how ?
What, is he here to amuse you?
Ray, I can't believe you haven't seen one of the best films of all time.
The decline and death of a family member at the time is understandable.
The movie is for emotional people only. Ray Liotta is a tough looking guy. Although I admit, there are some scenes that I find cheesy like "the demanding whisperer". But this movie gave me a lot of goosebumps because of the dead people playing baseball and deals with alive people.
I absolutely love this movie. However, as a senior in high school at it’s release Rudy is my Notebook.
How sad. RIP,Ray Liotta.😞
I was expecting the most of the cast during the Field of Dreams game. But from Liotta never watching the movie to James Earl Jones not liking baseball. Makes sense.
Love the movie but that game intro was corny, no pun intended! Costner walking out of the corn field looking lost most of the time and or just bad acting. Thank God we won't have to see another field of dreams game.
@@JeepTJWheelin You are very wrong. MLB has said there will be another Field of Dreams game next season. That game got the highest ratings since 2005.
James Earl Jones may not have liked baseball, but yet he pretty much reprised his 'Field of Dreams' role in 'The Sandlot' four years later, in 1993.
RIP ray. i miss you so much
I believe him a little but he is great.
I saw the movie when I was young and I did not like it because I did not get it.
I am older with sons now, my dad has passed and I love the movie.
Playing catch with dad. Fantastic.
Colin should watch himself. Maybe he'd stop with the bizarre facial expressions every 10 seconds.
Ben Robbins Some time back they saw a ratings spike when he got animated so now you have this ugh.
😂 😂
ironic clip to bring up facial expressions when ray’s face refuses to emote a single one…
I hate looking at pictures of myself, so I completely get why actors would dislike staring at themselves performing on the big screen.
We're So Sad To See Ray Liotta Go Will Miss You 😢 😞 💔 😔 😪 😭 😢 😞 💔 😔 😪 😭 😢 😞 💔 😔
Whose here after the game?🙋♂️
Sometimes these guys that do Mob movies think they are tough guys.
You haven’t seen it! You nailed it.
Check out Unlawful Entry. One of Liotta's best.
What?????
Time Out !!!!!!!!
I love Ray Liotta. Great actor yet Hollywood did not see it that way. There are so many amazing actors in Hollywood that were put to waste and I hate that about Hollywood. Mostly male actors I might add. He was good-looking as well. He probably did not see this because he only had a small role in the film. But he looked the part and he was good in the movie. I wish him well in all his future endeavors and those were the times when movies had great and amazing actors. Not anymore. SAD.
I’m hoping that one day he took the time to watch Field Of Dreams… RIP Ray Liotta
I can see if i was lead role but he wasnt, Costner was
RIP Ray
R.I.P Sir 😞
Important words right there......Yes........you gotta see the whole picture.......you truly should...
Johnny Depp doesn't watch his own movies either. Neither does Christian Bale. Along with Liotta they are terrific artists but I'm sure they enjoy the actual work rather than the film.
neither does robert deniro
I've never watched one movie I've been in.
@@Kevin-tz2lv Wait...time out..
Don’t they all go to the premiers?
@@cubsgo23 Not all the time
I suppose the magic of added music, a smooth flow of acting and good editing of the movie's scenes aren't there when an actor performs before a huge crew with cameras, booms, and the like. What takes seconds on screen might have been a day's shooting with interruptions, mistakes, maybe a disagreement or two....
Still, you'd think actors would want to see the end product.
too bad for ray... greatest movie ever made..
RIP RAY LIOTTA
Man I miss Ray already
He's a liar. He saw the movie 🙄
Yeah, hard time believing he's never seen it.
I cry bullshhhhhtttt. He's seen it.
The title of this video should be that Time Ray Liotta owned me
Get over it Ray, watch the bloody movie!!
RIP Ray Liotta
There are actors and actresses they don't like to see their own movies they were in, I wonder even to this day if he still hasn't seen it, as this is from 2016.
Notebooks, I never saw that movie 🍿
Not sure why but sometimes I confused Ray Liotta with Jeff Fahey.
This is ridiculous. How can he NOT have seen it?
Starting to think Ray Liotta is a BAD GUY.
Did he see Field of Dreams before he passed?
jimmmy!!!!
Ironic that many actors won't watch the films they have a role in. Yet they demand millions of dollars for a job they themselves aren't even willing to watch.
whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat
I think he's lying.
With all that botox we’ll never know 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Liotta says he didn't get it. Haha! He doesn't have to get it. Writing is not his wheel house. However, give this guy a script, a vision of a character, and pay him..... then he is a master of his craft. The fact of the matter is, it does not matter if he did not understand the script's purpose or did not watch the movie after the release. The fact is his performance as an actor. Not many really good actors out there, in my personal opinion. Ray is one of the few today who can own it.
I liked the movie but didn't cry over it..so Liotta never saw it...Cowered will remind us how many time LeBron and Brady saw it though
Ummmm
Edward Van Halen and Ray Liotta
Brothers from different mothers?
Wow!
way off
Rolf Bernerske Not seein it dawg, Ray has teeth and good posture a clear mind and he is convivial.
Edward and Peavey is all you need to know.
No wonder he didn't get invited to the game
He’s dead
Sad
Cowherd is the worst
I think most of us can relate. We don't like seeing ourselves on video. It is interesting that professional actors fell the same way. I've heard that William Shatner has never watched Star Trek.
This clip is exactly what happened to the Yankees in the Field of Dreams game.
love the movie (obviously), but DB Sweeney played a better Shoeless Joe
Ray Liotta has the most cynical dark personality in real life .
Did Colin just compare himself to an actor?
He compared himself for having tv screen time.
💉 *NO REFUNDS* ⚰️
He doesn’t deserve that role. Should have gave it to someone else. Charlie Sheen maybe?..
He did not like the scrip , surprised he signed on.
He’s a liar! Of course he saw it!
Well he's missing a great movie.
The Notebook for guys? I guess so. Except the Notebook really sucked.
"Cried"
WTF
I love 🌽😘
Worst casting in movie history. Ray Liotta as Shoeless Joe. Joe was fromSC, Liotta from NY. Joe batted left, threw right, Liotta just the opposite. Only bad thing about a great movie.
It is a pretty silly movie. And I love it, but it is kinda silly
The movie is wack.
RIP Ray
