finally after years of trying to ace this i officially found out how to properly do it now i’m working on it . i’m proud that i can now do “hard” projects i couldn’t do before and have been dying to do.🎉
@@naomigwolfe8112 _It depends on you, sometimes you might wanna buy fabric or use some at home, add a bra cup then sew the fabric so your nips don't get bothered_
Great pattern. Easy to follow. Very cute finished product. My daughter had a preference for a wider strap and no bow ties so I did single crochet back down the strap chains and followed through across the whole border with slip-stitches so that I didn’t have to sew on the straps. I also added a button and a loop onto the neck straps. My daughter loves it! Thank you!
I have a more in depth tutorial for the cups on my channel as well as a free written pattern on my Ko-Fi (link in the description) if you need extra help!
So it really depends on what type of yarn you’re using! Your yarn label will tell you how to wash it and as for wearing in water, I’ve worn my cotton ones in pool water and they did fine! But all yarns act different so you’d have to just test it unfortunately 😅😅 but I LOVE the stripes idea!!
May I ask about the 3 chains between the cups,is it because the cups are a size small? If the cups are a size small or extra small do we need 3 chains between the cups and if they are medium upwards,do we connect the cups with not chain stitches in-between?
Thank you for the clear tutorial! I've been crocheting a long time but I've never found a tutorial for these types of tops that made me feel comfortable enough to give it a shot. I can't wait to get some yarn and work one of these up this weekend! Also, because I've been crocheting for a while I was able to figure it out but the step that creates the curve on the top is missing from the video.
I apologize for that! I do have an updated video explaining how to make cups that is much slower and it links to a written pattern for them if that will help 🫶🏻
@@glithchThis was a big oopsie on my part! Somehow I missed placing a whole clip, but if you check out my other video on how to make crochet cups, that goes in depth and doesn’t have any missing clips!! Sorry about that!
You’re right! Total beginners should start out with practicing basic stitches and working on getting their tension consistent! Starting out with a top like this can be difficult if you haven’t practiced stitches beforehand! I also will answer any questions if help is needed so always feel free to ask either here or on Instagram!
This was a big oopsie on my part! Had others mention this and I realized I missed putting in a whole clip!! But I promise that in my other video on how to crochet cups, there are no missing clips! Once you follow that tutorial and have your two cups, you can always come back to this to finish it off! My apologies!

Thanks so much for this tutorial! I just finished mine, and it looks so beautiful too. You explained it perfectly! Easy to follow, & fun to make.

I'm so glad it helped!!
two qestions: can i wear it in salt water or water at all, and can i wash it?
btw im making it in stripes and its coming out super cute💙💙💙

The 3 chains are just what I like to add in the middle! You can add more or less depending on how much space you want between cups!
do i need an even or odd number of single crochets at the bottom of my cups for the granny stitch to land in the center stitch between the cups
I'm watching and kneading but I'm.not doing so perfectly 😢
Is it supposed to curve on the bottom? Yours looks straight and mine has a C-like curve at the bottom.
you're moving to fast for a tutorial...

The cups always end up being pointy in the middle any tips?
Thank you so much for this amazing tutorial pls can you make a skirt next preferably a small size thank you
What does it mean when they say this will count as your first stitch? Do I end next row there?
When you finish a row and have to chain and turn, the chain will count as your first stitch! I hope that helps!
i feel like a step was skipped 2:32
I feel like it too. I got confused how to get that curve at the top
@@AshtenStitches omg no problem :))
What cup US size is this?
how much yarn did you use🥺
I used 1 ball of Lily Sugar n Cream Super Size! But that was for a size small!
can I use 3.5 hook?
what type of yarn are you using for bra cup?
I always link to the products I'm using in the description :) But its Lily Sugar 'n Cream 100% cotton yarn in the color "Jute" :)
Just finished it and realized I didn't keep doing the middle part so it isn't flat:(
Do you know how many yards of yarn this took??
Not 100% sure! I used a skein of Lily Sugar n Cream cotton yarn for a size small!
Um I'm using 6mm hook ?is that okay
What type of yarn is that??
I always link to the materials I use in the description :) it's lily sugar n cream!
I did not understand anything. You explained it very quickly. I wish you would also write what you did. this is not beginner friendly

what have you done in minute 2:33?

Could I use 24/7 dk
You can use any yarn! You just may have to adjust some rows/numbers but yeah!
I was wondering if the shells work for a binki top
I’ve made some with the shell stitch and they’re super cute and work well!
This tutorial was extremely confusing
🗣️ hear me out if your a total beginner you won't understand her after first step

Not sure if I’m the only one but your video doesn’t match your instructions. There’s a huge lag or else the video was cut. Thumbs down 👎
