Jingles, this was fun too watch. I agree that tier 4, 5, 6 and 7 are fun to play. Most tanks are not overpowered.

Technically, we're just 20 days into 2022 - that's 5.47% of the year, so there's 94.53% chance that guy is most likely 7 years old.
Considering he outlasted the rest of his team and placed higher than fifty percent of them anyway if he's seven years old now think of how much he'll improve in just a couple of years.
Plus the youngster has featured in a Jingles vid too! Not bad going for 7.

Jingles, excellent commentary on a refreshingly long battle. Having met many a decent British Soldier and Marine during my time in service, I'd like to think that you represent the standard of what the Royal Navy had to offer. BTW, congratulations again on buying the home. Homeowership (nope, not a typo) can be daunting at times, but you now have a place where you want to paint each wall a different color, you can. Keep up the good work.
If Admiral Jingles paints each wall an off shade, think about what the RN's combat vessels would look like were that to be the 'NORM' rather than the odd duck, LOLOLOL.

I’m currently a college student and it’s been a rough start to the semester. The number of Tier 6/7 matches where I meet nothing but same Tier tanks spamming Gold at me is depressing.
Saw that other day. Tier 8-10 game in my tier 8 tank. All the tier 10's were firing gold and the tier 8's and 9's were just using standard ammo.
I spam gold in a Hetzer, so I feel like I’m a bit worse 😜😜

Mr Jingles. I love you. I honestly do. You're the reason I play WoT, and the reason I spent 2 weeks of my life pushing for a Cheif. But, this player was using gold ammo because He wanted to guarantee the damage on the tanks left alive in the game, so He would be able to win. Not because He forgot the ammo was loaded. There are so many tier 8 prem tanks in the game now that people really don't need to worry bout creditos.

Well let me tell you this Jingles take a look at the Cruiser 4 (at tier 4) in the british tech tree
For a tier 4 tank with 240 burst damage, 86mm of base pen and a 6 second full clip reload it's kinda busted for tier 4
PLUS -15 degrees of gun depression
It used to be tier three and didn't get much of a buff when it was up tiered.
And this is why 99% of sealclubbers play the Matilda at tier4. ;-)

Remembering being 8 years old, about fifty years ago...We used wood blocks painted green to "play tanks". Basically smacking the wood block against the other guy until you hit his fingers and he started crying. No gold ammo needed.
Love the Title Jingles. The kid at least knew to cap to try to win the game, so he deserves credit for that. The kid will hopefully learn from it.

Yes, last player standing on the enemy team might be 7-8 years old or perhaps 14 years old at account creation.
Some use their actual age as the diversifying number.
It's a bit strange that Jingles didn't do an offscreen check on that player.
It could also be an anonymizer name.

Luchs! Back in WoT beta, the Luchs was quite simply the most fun I ever had in WoT. Love that little tyke!
ACTUALLY Jingles, the FCM Pak 40 could not have been in a tier 5 match, as tier 3 tanks can no longer meet tier 5 tanks. In fact, they haven't been able to meet tier 5 tanks for years. Classic Jingles moment.

Ahhh Jingles, a most succinct and accurate description of the state of present day WoT, I have also never owned a Tier 10 tank and find tier 8 / 9 more than toxic enough to put me off playing any further up the tree.
One thing I've always liked about jingles.... hell call you a window licker when you deserve it, but at least he does keep why you where licking windows in perspective, and only really takes the absolute piss out of the ones that richly deserve it.
Saw the title and without even watching a frame of the video thought "Jingles is back on form" ... even if it is a rehash from six years ago ;)

I will never forget the day I noticed the Luchs and Pz1c’s rate of fire nerfed to the ground. The Luchs used to have the same rate of fire as the tier V Leopard and the Pz1c’s rate of fire used to sound like a chain gun.
Got circled to death by a platoon of pz1c's in a T14 one time. None of them had any gold rounds, so it took like 5 mins lol. Turret wasn't fast enough to follow them up close so I kept them away from the back of my tank and they just couldn't penetrate me, just endlessly blow both my tracks off while 99% of their rounds bounced off harmlessly. Took over a thousand rounds that match... 8 point something.... good times....

Good job jingles. I'm only slightly younger than yourself and I introduced both my sons to the gamevat pretty early ages. I'm certain many players are quite young so plenty of slack is entirely justified.

Every tier has good players in nowadays. The games have been around so long and it seems the experienced players have come to the same conclusion I did. Top tier games just aren't as much fun as mid tier. My favorite tanks and planes to play for a quick game in warthunder and world of games its usually a spitfire or a M4 tank sort of thing. Have seen 1 player twice now in tier 2 games. 32k games played, 67% wr and all he plays is tier 2. Sits at the back of the map, waits for the bots to light everything up and then just throws gold at them. He has a few tier 8 prems but his avaerage tier played is 2 and plays the same tank over and over.
@@shanklinkay that's like the one guy I have seen a few times.. 33 THOUSAND games in a Valentine II. To his credit, he does actually play, but I always wonder how he isn't bored to death.

Yeah I went up to 7.7 in WT german ground tree, but keep coming back to doing anti air in mixed battles at 3.3 with the Fw 190 A-1. It's just too fun.

The thing about clubbing in the Luchs is that unlike the FCM camping at the back or the IIJ with its BS armour, you actually give your opponents the chance to see you, shoot you and actually deal damage

I love my Luchs. It’s one of the few tanks I keep getting back to after grinding them because it’s really fun to drive. I don’t carry more than 2 magazines of gold though.

@@1slotmech nearly never did the magdump. Always waited a bit between the shots for accuracy. Got it out for one of the 30 penetrating shot missions from Arnie. Had a 1300dmg game with another 1500 spotting not a single kill though of course the enemies were playing ball and just ignored the small tank peppering them from the flanks
@@TornadoGames1 it was never good for mag dumps so the time between salvos is not a big issue. With a magdump from anything but point blank you made sure you didn’t hit more than 30% of your shots anyway
I'd argue that the majority of players at lower tier are experienced players. The game doesn't get a huge influx of new players anymore. In fact, I'd argue that is why so many new players don't stick it out. They get murdered so thoroughly even at low tiers that it is hard to identify and learn from mistakes. It is a learning cliff now.
People above a certain skill level should be confined to TierX, they turn lower tier games into roflstomps

It’s a tedious problem, nearly every 52% player can outplay anyone below him, he may only be 2% above everyone else, but he really is in a different world of ability.
Load up XVM and watch which flank the unicum goes to. You don’t want to be on that flank.

Sorry I'm late Jingles, the pacemaker replacement today took longer than expected. But I am back home and here we are. I will not be able to partake in any activities at The Salt Mines for the foreseeable future, but once we can swing a pick above shoulder height, we will be right back at it.
Over the Holiday Ops I found myself playing a fair amount of Tier IV when I wasn't able to clear my missions in higher tiers. I'm surprised how effective the T-28 can be, when one comes back to it with more experience than when one was going through to the KV-1.
I do however have to refute your claim. The cute tank is clearly the T-80 LT, also at Tier IV
If memory serves, the FCM40 can shoot HE and pen most things it meet with it.
So, you know, if you want a quick laugh... but be warned, that is from years before the HE rework.
I'm glad you find it ok to play down in the lower tiers. I love my Matilda and its my most played tank. Its the tank I play when I get irritated with all the other tiers.

While the 30 mm autocannon on this tank is essentially useless for any sort of ranged combat (and has a 400 metre range, for whatever reason), the penetration dropoff actually isn't too bad. The base penetration value with its standard AP (which IRL is actually HVAP) is 95 mm, and drops to 80 mm by the 400 metre range ceiling. It's a similar story with the APCR rounds, having a base pen value of 110 and dropping to 95 by 400 metres.

Finally, an honest review.
That last summery screen is exactly why I just stopped using gold ammo. I'd rather make credits in a loss than win with tens of thousands of loss in credits. It's also a big reason I stopped playing.
I think the Luchs is more of a party tank than the TOG 2. It's so kawaii.

Ive been teaching my nephew to play. 6 years old, he kinda gets it all, but not at the same time. So far i havent let him into matches with other players just through the tutorial.
Nipper did well for a 7 year old. Lets face it he was the last man alive for his team meaning that whatever his faults, his entire team managed to fail even harder than he did, regardless of what the results card says.
If Julio is 8 this definitely counts as seal clubbing...
Luchs is less of a murder machine now. The general hit points buff all tanks got greatly reduced the ability to clip a tank. It's still fun and I don't think I've ever felt a need to use gold in it.
Just so everyone knows, the last time jingles made that pun with the name luchs was 6years ago
If the T3 was only 8, then I've been playing this game for 2 years longer than he's been alive. God that's some perspective.
I do like Jingles when he is being nice about other players.
The Pak40 will never face tier 5. Possible tier spreads for a tier 3 are: 2-3, 3, 3-4. So why that Pak40 was using gold? No idea.

There is justification for the different ammo types.
There is no justification for making one of them specifically a pay-to-win mechanic.
I'd be fine with premium ammo if it's limited to 10% of the total ammo load out. That should be enough for those occasions you actually need it but still requires some judgment on when to use it.
What they need to do is take a page from other games and how they handle ammo. High pen solid shot rounds should have significantly reduced damage due to not having any explosive filler, good for picking apart crew/components but poor at actually removing health. HEAT should be largely useless against anything but a completely flat surface but still retain good damage and increased pen if it connects.
I'll never understand why people who have thousands of games played and tier 10 tanks unlocked are called seal clubbers when they play mid tier. It's a game, just because you have higher tiers unlocked doesn't mean you can ONLY play them. Sure, there are plenty of experienced players actually seal clubbing.

to be honest, it's plausible that the T3's username was one of two other things:
it may the year that he started playing the game, or at least the year the account was made (i'm pretty sure that they offer such auto-complete stuff for your username if the thing you wrote is taken - so if he wrote juliomartin, and it was taken, it would offer juliomartin_2014).
alternatively, it's also possible that he hid his nickname by using the anonymizer, which randomly gave him that nickname.
regardless, he did play as if he was new to the game,so no judging regardless (although the T3 was a reward tank for something during the new year, so the account may be a couple of weeks old at this point)
As many times as I have wanted to uninstall this game I always stick with it when I watch a Jingles video. Also your comments on playing high tiers are spot on. Love the Luchs for tooning.

I play mostly tier 4-6 because: 1 Most of the tanks are real WW2 era tanks, 2 I don't need to use gold ammo, 3 The game is still fun at this tier. The price I pay? Free except for the pain of Leaf blowers, pak40's, and their ilk.
I miss playing my luchs, I don't miss playing WoT though, yet I still find myself watching Jingles and QB.

Instantly jumped into my Luchts and had fun.

The Luchs and the T-25 were my favorites in low tier games
They should introduce overpenetration in World of Tanks tbh..
Something that is in Armoured Warfare and which they already has in World of Warships, remove the "gold feel" of the ammunition, too high pen with apcr and you shoot a tank with low armor, it goes right through for less damage, heavier armored tanks it'll go through and do the proper damage or something like that..
Armoured Warfare did it pretty well with their ammunition types i feel like and it felt quite balanced.
WoT could learn something from that, add overpenetration, balance out the ammunition and the price for each type, make the game more fun,
and add support rounds for arty, but that is just wishful thinking.
Eight year olds are the best seals to club. Those kids need to find a game more their speed.
