This is by far the best video for recommending materials for stickers. You had everything I was hoping for and delivered it all so well and efficiently. Thank you!
I don’t have any personal interest in sticker papers, but I was completely engrossed watching your thorough testing. You are the perfect Cricut teacher. Thank you so much Angie.
Man oh man… I don’t know why this video didn’t pop up when I typed in “comparing sticker paper” before… But I have watched a few of them where they only compared like two or three and this is just freaking phenomenal. There are so many different types on Amazon and even going through the ratings and reviews makes it difficult to figure out what you want exactly and so I definitely appreciate this video…even though it is two years old at this point that I’m watching it.
I wish I would have watched this before I purchased the Cricut thick sticker paper! You are so correct it would not feed through my hp printer, too thick. And I love the tape hack to get it to cut! Thank you!!!
Omgosh!! So much work you are doing for us! I was trying and I get confused...what one was that. Lol. Thank you for all of your time! You are the best!! ❤😂🎉
You have seriously the best videos! Thank you for spending all your time and money doing all the research so we can attempt to avoid spending too much time and money finding the best products.
I just got my Cricut Maker and your videos have been amazing! I’ve been digesting them for days in preparation for my machine to arrive. Thank you so much for all the work you do to help others. :)
First I want to say I love all of your videos. I am fairly new to the Cricut world and you have made my life so much easier. I mainly use mine to make stickers. Would you consider comparing different printable holographic sticker paper or adhesive vinyl? Maybe include holographic laminates as well? Thank you for all you do for the crafting world.
Lady, your videos are so SO good! You go into so much detail and offer so many helpful suggestions and tips. Thank you so much for all the time and effort you pour into these--time-stamps and links, too! It is SO very appreciated! 💓
Thank you for being so efficient and thorough. This was a valuable and excellent review. Thank you. Photography quality and editing and audio description are EXCELLENT.
Thank you. I found this very helpful. I also tested 14. But only Matte and Glossy. (Joyeza, Aiva, Compandsave, NeotoLabels and Online Labels) For the glossy paper and HP envy, I have to place ONE piece of regular printer paper as far back from the tray on the bottom then place my glossy paper on top for it to feed. SETTINGS on printer matter to get the best possible colors.
Wow Angie - thanks for the comparison. I was looking to make a laptop sticker for my husband and wondering what to use. Without fail you have a wonderful comparison video! I have the Cricut printable vinyl and have decided it should be good to use based on your tests.
Thank you for doing these videos they're great. I am just about to delve into sticker making and these help a lot. Just need to see if they are available in the UK.
I am struggling with how to get the best resources for purchasing overseas! I would love to be able to offer those links as well but I just don't know how to get those for every circumstance.
I’m so glad I found you early on in my cutting adventures! Now I depend on your comparisons above all else, and am so thankful to you for all that you do, Angie! Thank you! Because you asked for reports of other brands, here is one from me. I got lucky my first time out with my new Maker. I bought Buttercrafts White Vinyl Sticker Sheets. The claims that it will be jam-proof and not cause feeding errors, and is waterproof held up for me. True to its claims, it fed smoothly. I tested my stickers immediately after printing, and they were absolutely waterproof. They are much more reasonably priced than many brands, at $13.99 for 20 sheets. It is difficult to tell which side is the sticker vinyl and which is the backing, but I learned that if I stick each side to a good cutting mat, the sticker side has a velvety or suede like feel, but ONLY after that test. I also tested some that I cut too deeply with transfer tape, and that lifted some of the ink. Cut properly, it is easily removed from the backing. I notified the company and got a rapid reply. They are sincerely interested in feedback and said they would include my information about the transfer tape on their instruction sheet. I don’t need anything to use outdoors, so I have not tested for that issue. I will buy this paper again because it performed very well for me. Leap of Faith: I printed this vinyl to put on Cricut coasters, and would do so again!
Again a truly awesome test of different sticker paper! Love your videos and thanks a lot. Ive been using cricut printable vinyl paper and it worked well for all my projects!
Thank you for such a thorough, informative video! Interestingly, I use an HP Envy 6000 series and one of my favorite sticker papers is one that didn't work for you... The neato, super glossy white waterproof!
Hi Angie I just saw ur video and was so helpful thank u. I have a question can I use a uv laminate over the Amazon transparent sticker the one u liked to protected from water
@@AngieHolden Thanks Angie. I'd like for the print to be at the bottom of the ornament this way it is visible through the acrylic and I can add name on the top of the clear acrylic. That's why I was asking how do I do a front faced sticker - thanks!

But, I’ve been trying to figure out the best for car stickers. I’ll go back and watch that video too. Question: Can you print a sticker using explore, then weeks later go and cut it? Does explore recognize what it’s supposed to cut after changing designs?
What is a kiss cut, cut? My stickers cut through completely I just what to lift them off the backing paper. Do you have a video on how to do that? Thanks
Thank you - had no idea there was so much stuff out there - I want to put vinyl on a folding end table that has slats on the top and it will sit under a covered patio that does not get sun or rain but I am in Florida where it gets humid in the summer - what do you suggest I use
Very helpful! Thanks! I'm about to order a Cricut Explore 3, mostly for making stickers, some kiss-cut, but mostly die-cut. Is the blade that comes with the Cricut Explore 3 good for this, or do I need to invest in another blade? Thanks again for the best crafting videos on UA-cam!
Hi love this video thank you. I am just learning to make stickers so this helps. When using cricut printable sticker paper clear for a kiss cut use material setting printable sticker paper clear? Is this correct? If you add a laminate to it then use for a kiss cut printable sticker paper clear but cut 2 or 3 times? Is this correct ? Thank you.
OOOHHH. PRINT then cut. As a newbie I thought you had to change markers/pens for the printing part. Still learning! 11:27 Any idea if the Explorer 3 fixed the scanning problem on print / cut?
I've never had a problem with NEATO Waterproof Glossy sticker papers feeding thru any of my three papers. They are completely waterproof. However, I usually only put in one sheet in the printer at a time...they also have frequent sales on their website!
It is tricky. You need to make multiple cuts on the die cut portion to do it all at once. I make an offset and copy it several times then locate those cuts over one another.
Hi Angie, I have a question. I tried Aiva printable sticker glossy and I had problems with it. After printing they say to wait 5 minutes for the ink to set. I waited and smeared all over the place. It's been 3 days and if I rub my finger on the black line it will smear and I get black ink on my fingers. I have an inkjet. Do you have an idea why the Aiva paper is doing that? Or is it my printer? On matte paper it's fine, just the glossy one. Thank you in advance. And BTW I love your videos. Thank you for taking the time to show us everything you know and learn. 💞
Kiss cut references only cutting the top layer and leaving the bottom layer in tact. Usually the vinyl setting will do that for you depending on thickness.
I have a Cricut joy and the Online Labels sticker paper. I was trying to see what settings you used to get the kiss cut. I am having trouble because the paper is so thin.
Miss Angie!! I love you and your videos so much, especially these detailed comparisons. I am so grateful and appreciate all of the work you put in! I have request for you to consider when it comes to future videos like this - will you show the backing of each item you're testing? I have some sticker paper that isn't the best but it also isn't terrible. But the backing paper says "Please print your beautiful Stickers/Labels on the other side..." so I don't want to use it for items I'd like to sell cause, LAME! lolol. I'm new to stickers so this is the only brand I've tried so far (I purchased the paper in glossy and matte). When looking on Amazon for new sticker papers, it just doesn't seem to be a detail people mention in the product description or even the reviews. Either way, thanks for everything you do!!!
What setting did you have your machine set to for the Orajet Printable Vinyl with the Oraguard Laminate? I had mine set to Custom-Printable Sticker White. It did OK, but I think it got hung up at times and I had multiple cut lines through the middle of my stickers.
What I want is a sticker that can be put on my kids water bottles but can be washed without falling apart. Is there a way to make the glossy laminate a little bigger than the printed sticker so it covers the printed stickers edges from the water
Hobby Lobby has the brand 'The Paper Studio' , have you ever used this brand? I was given some and wondered if I should try it or just return it for something else. Thank you for all your helpful videos and info. As a newbie I've come to rely and search you out for my questions. Thank you :-)
How can you tell the difference between your material once it’s out of the package? For instance permanent vinyl and removable vinyl and/or premium iron on, every day iron on etc etc. Once it’s out of the package and I (unfortunately) throw it away I can’t tell the difference between any on the material.
This might be a really dumb question, but how do you go back later and cut a print-then-cut file? It seems like you printed all of these and then later cut them. Do you do attach and then save your project?

OK--corrugated cardboard ripped up the whole sheet. I really want the stickers to be fully & individually cut out. The paper is the clear vinyl sticker paper from Amazon. Any advice?

Not for regular stickers. I do use a laminate if they are going outdoors.

I have tried their vinyl and HTV and it is good so I wouldn't see why the sticker paper wouldn't be as well.
