Watching @geofatboy shave is truly an art form! It reminds me of being a kid again because you make shaving look fun! 😂 Great video as always, @geofatboy! I'm 45 and have been shaving since my mom let me know I needed to start shaving at least every other day in 7th grade. Being a hairy Italian, what can I say? I’m still learning new things about shaving! Thank you, buddy! Best wishes to you and your family. ✌️🇺🇸
@AnticipatedHedgehog It's not only that. You can have all the experience in the world and still cut yourself, it's got to do with how sensitive your skin is. Geo could shave with a broken piece of glass and come out of the shave fine. Same with how aggresive the blade or razor is, more aggresive is not an "upgrade" or better, it solely depends on your skin type.
😂 That's the truth! I think @geofatboy could shave with anything sharp enough, from a rock to a rusty lawnmower blade, and he would come out baby-bottom smooth! 😂 Best wishes to you and your family. ✌️🇺🇸
A great razor that let's you progress by changing blade types. With the pro, very similar to a straight razor, with less maintenance required. Enjoyed the vid, good job.
Nice shave Geo. Love using my Facon kamisori with a shark blade. Sometimes I'll try to use a more aggressive blade and always manage to get a cut, but it's still my favorite way to shave. I'd love to get a Feather kamisori but I like being able to use just half a DE blade. I'm still new to it and will stick with it because I get a very close shave.
Hello, ray the truck driver here. Seeing that I spend most of my time in the truck instead of home. I have a neat little kit I have together. It's my rolls razor I picked it up brand new. It's what are the unwind businesses? 425 bucks, a steel That's usually my go to in the truck. And I just acquired, I haven't used it a 3 piece DE 100% brass razor. Have you ever tried one of those a solid brass? Razor or rolls razors. I do have a number of straits. My price possession is a 1870. I believe wayden, butcher. With a blonde horn. Anyway, thank you again great stuff, as always
I wanted to ask you why you stopped making videos, but then I realized that UA-cam hasn't shown your videos for a long time. It is not about you, UA-cam shows only several channels it is like Facebook that shows only few friends. It is insane. Off the topic. I have Rockwell 6S and it is the best of the best. What do you think, how is it possible that this razor is so great? I use R1, the first plate, my skin is sensitive, but it still with more blade exposure than Muhle 89. How can it be? Even when I try the R3 plate, it won't cut my skin. How is it possible to have a lot of blades and not to harm sensitive skin? I can bet that I would use even R4 or higher, without any problem. The thing would be pretty easy to understand if it would be one plate razor. But it has 6 plates, with the same precision. For instance, you can't change the plates on Henson AL13 and AL13 medium, because the geometry of the top cap is not the same. With Rockwell, all the plates work perfectly, every geometry is precise. It is because of the curvature of the blade? Or the people from Rockwell are genius?
Yes, the creme is the "pre shave" to prep the skin and hairs for a more confortable shave. The soap is to make the skin slippery so the blade glides along, it does nothing to the hair except collect it (otherwise the stubble would fall all over your shirt and floor). The pre shave is optional, if you have a easy and confortable enough shave you don't need to use it, in my case I have very sensitive skin so using it reduces the nicks I give myself significantly.
Interesting 🧐 you know that shavette and Japanese SR are using disposable blades that are sharper than a standard Straight Razor that needs to be stropped every so often.

My face starts bleeding while thinking of shaving that fast. Great as always!
No need to rush especially with a straight razor. You know Geo is a pro haha
@@AnticipatedHedgehog Yeah I definitly take my time. I got cut really bad several times because I rushed just a single time and I learned from that

He’s an OG 😅
Amazing shaving with using both hands as usual, Geo👏
The silence was a total zen shaving experience.
Video is worth like thousand words.

Two hands my brother 😂 great video as usual. You’ve encouraged me to get an SR.
Get one. Start with your cheeks and neck. Shave with it one a week and start with a mild blade.

That like passing a butter knife through melted butter, insane!
Geo, what blade strength are you using?
Great job 👍
Good cut-throat shave!
Where’s the Bismarck?
What kind of preshave was that? I couldn't see it well, and it's not in the description.
looks like my wife's butter knife hey what are you doing at my house!
Cool razor
I’m not sure what kind it is plus the blade type so cool
Check the video description

Dammit, now I want a kamisori. I feel it might be a better fit for me than a straight razor. :D
I love mine. Facon makes a nice one. They had them on sale for $14 with 100 Japanese blades. Not sure if Geo carries them but it's worth a check.
What's the point of using the soap if you've already applied the creme? Does it actually do anything?

Not a fan of the silent treatment. Other than that awesome as usual. ( maybe some tunes in the back ground?)

why my guy been silent for the past couple vids?
You wouldn't expect Rembrandt to speak while he painted would you?
