I'm happy to report that these do NOT leave the ring of death, and I also didn't experience much feathering (but as i'd mentioned, that's not a huge issue for me usually).
Thank you for calling out the unpleasant taste. I received mine this week and it's a deal-breaker for me. Tastes like weirdly perfumed crayons. Not one other creator has mentioned this besides you. Nor does it say on the product listing that there's fragrance. I assumed there wasnt because of this, and because Lisa's other lip formulas are fragrance-free, but after speaking to customer service, it was confirmed this formula is fragranced. I'm so disappointed and would not recommend
Oh no, really?I assumed they were fragrance free as well! I thought that Lisa said no fragrance in her video but I could be mistaken. I have a feeling that will be a deal breaker for many people. I didn’t notice the taste wearing it through the day but I certainly did when I purposely tasted it!
I haven't bought new makeup in a looong time. With everything out there and the prices of EVERYTHING. However, as soon as I save the funds to purchase anything new, not that I really NEED it, but I am all over this brand. I have no products from Lisa but I am dying to try her stuff. I believe in her brand, and as a light olive 🫒 skintone it has been so difficult to find perfect beautiful matches for my skin and natural neutral colors that mimic my features. I CAN NOT WAIT!! To support her brand and enjoy her products. ❤❤❤ I totally respect and subscribe to taking a brake from socials. Good for you, girlfran xoxox

I purchased one for now - Épanoui 😊🖤 , I also love the meaning of it. Metropolis and Sweet Fig were others I wanted.

I bought 4 or 5 of her velvet/insanely saturated lip colours and those are my jam. I feel like with these balmy textures I do not need a high end lippi, but they do look beautiful on you :)
That is how I feel about the Luxuriously Lucent formula for sure! There are many nice creamy lipstick formulas. I bought a couple to try but wasn’t wowed by that formula(for the price, anyhow). I agree that there are also quite a few nice balms as well. There is something about the consistency of these and the pretty tones that made them worth the splurge, luckily for me 🤣 do you have a lower cost tinted balm you love?

I've always wanto try Lisa Eldridge. Her shades are all so beautiful, and hard to decide. I want them all.
She does so much a good job with her shades! When you’re ready, you should decide which type of formula you love and would most use-and pick ONE shade to treat yourself to and try. I will say, while I love the shade range of her luxuriously lucent, there are a lot of nice creamy satin lipstick formulas out there. That one is the least unique IMO(but there are some beautiful colors that I know people love)!
I purchased the 2 light colours they feel lovely on the lips super moisturising but unfortunately it didn’t last long on my lips would much rather have her luxuriously lucent lipsticks I find there very hydrating last a lot longer glad I still purchased them to try
The Baume Embrace is my favourite type of lip product. I’m so persuaded by this type of formula. Thank you for covering this. Lisa is a master marketer. I think she reads minds.
She IS a master marketer. I think she knows what SHE’D love for herself and clients, and mixes that all up in her magic way, uses her great eye for flattering color, sprinkles some of her charm in…and then showcases it all on her own beautiful face to really close the deal. 🤣

@@Dramallamabeauty unfortunately I don’t have either of those. 😕 honestly I’m not usually a luxury lip person, because I haven’t found it worth the extra splurge! I just always love Lisa’s formulas and shades so I always feel like it’s a safer buy 🤣 I saw that my friend Jennifer (her channel is Allfeisty) did a video with these and she would maybe have more comparisons.

Hi! I’m sorry I missed your comment! I actually just had a video go up today with this look. It’s a mix of a couple face and eye products if you want all the details but the shimmer on the lids is a Sydney Grace cream shadow. Absolutely love them.
PS - the darker shade doesn’t feather or settle. It’s totally fine.

It’s so weird… my lips are quite pigmented but not as much as yours.. and yet epanoui is invisible on me.. it’s just a clear gloss. I’m baffled because it shows so much more colour on everyone else I’ve watched.
That IS really weird. Does it seem less pigmented even in a hand swatch? I wonderful if it’s possible to have gotten an odd one?
@@KeepBeautyReal1 my hand swatch looks similar to yours. I think épanoui just isn’t quite pigmented enough for me sadly. I also have Chantecaille’s Lip Chic in Amour which is a similar shade but a tad more pigment.. it also feels little less slippy, so I think I’ll stick to that for now.
It tastes awful. I found very similar dupes in the form of Boots Natural Collection rebranded Lip balm sticks. They're amazing and much more affordable. And unlike these, they're fragrance free!
