- Do you have paper in the printer cassette but the Epson printer complains of no paper? Follow this video to get the problem fixed. We show a couple of places to check on the paper loading gear, and also the problem we found on a duplexer.

Thank you. My problem was slightly different. The little black plastic hook you can just about see at 2:00 in the centre of the duplexer white & black keys had popped out of its white 'loop arm'. As soon as I nudged it back into its loop, the printer started working again. The black hook was stopping paper being fed, "jamming", and then with error "no paper in feeder".

I have an ET8550 that is having issues pulling from cassette 1. I tried cleaning the rollers but knocked them off. Using your video I think I have them back on but there is this little black bar that snaps into some grooves that came off too and I'm not sure how that goes back on.

I bought an Epson printer during the Covid lock down because it was the only brand and model available. I regretted it instantly. This video shows that the problem there was a design deficiency. Ordinarily users do not have a Research department "on tap.

My printer won’t pick up 4x6 paper :(, other paper sizes work fine
After about 3 decades, I have yet to find a printer that does not give me problems. My brand new hp 5546 says I'm out of paper. Again. But it Isn't. Taking it to the local dump.
