yeah, I'm hoping they remove the extra seconds from the W and revert it back to 0.75, but keep the other changes (ATK SPD buff on spell that sets hp below threshold, first auto gets the ATK SPD buff). The extra seconds feel unnecessary, whereas the other changes are what I imagine is intention behind the ability.

He said the changes would make WW too strong that he might end up like Rengar or LeBlanc, who had crazy 10 patches in a row balance updates just to inevitably revert the reworks because it ended up being too OP. I’m seeing half a season of WW changes both nerfs and buffs before they return him to what he was in season 13.
Rengar didn’t get reverted because it was too strong, it got reverted because the prerework one felt better. I’m willing to bet WW will only be in a few more patches getting a numbers nerf, some follow up numbers changes to get him closer to balanced, and then if they still miss the mark by a little they’ll take away or give like 10 base health before he’s left for months.

-Warwick is able to exploit every little lack of communication in soloQ with his passive. Being able to quickly show up on a lane where the enemy is low hp, regardless of their jungle rotation. -He is clearly really strong at 1v1, I mean also played on top lane for a reason. Meaning he can easily invade enemy jungle, secure objectives and hold lanes easily on his own if necessary. -He is able to reach everywhere if the enemy is not careful. Not careful meaning bad calls when low hp or when behind. -He is a nightmare for every other jungler, especially when all lanes are pushing and refuse to listen. -Warwick is able to gank and counter gank without losing much cs, most of the time it's the enemy jungler losing cs and falling behind because their team is flaming and they feel they have to gank more because Warwick is everywhere. -His healing is out of this world. Have you ever seen a fed Warwick OTP building full lifesteal against little CS enemy team? It's worse than old Sion. -His ulti amplifies everything above. -A team with decent CC and average communication would be more than enough to take out Warwick but league is now a gamble when it comes to teammates so you'll just pray your team knows how to play and not full of people trying champions, boosted people who should be still playing on their Bronze accoounts or people who should have created their own accounts essentially learning the game on their own pace instead of jumping straight into high ranks with a bought account.
I needed one game this patch to start perma banning this champion as a toplaner. And the new Q range is ridiculous as well btw. I hit Q1 as Aatrox and the next thing I know is that I got a dawg right behind me and I'm dead. This wasn't the case before
apparently the q range is actually a bugfix, as when he got a bigger model his q range actually got lowered. the broken thing is the new W, as q is pretty much the exact same as a few months ago.

That's rough. I didn't like the W changes in the first place (the original changes, not this patch), and now they made it so you get attack speed buffs two seconds after? The point was to get the attack speed on the bloodied target, not to kill a low health target and then attack as fast on a new target.
It doesn't even make thematic sense. He gets attack speed because he's frenzied by the blood of the target, why would he maintain the aggression against someone healthy?
Guys, I have a tip for you. When laning vs WW buy antiheal (at least the component). When playing ranged top just don't let him get close to you (If you're ganked, it doesn't mean that WW is op) His W move speed is canceled on every attack he receives, and he's very vulnerable to slows and cc's After he uses ult and you know how to kite, he's defenceless unless you get too close and let him use stridebreaker or Q on you Also you can simply counter him with Malphite, Illaoi (after lvl 6), teemo (if you're good with Q's), Ornn (once you have bramblevest and steelcaps), Volibear since he also heals a ton and deals tons of damage, Darius because it's Darius, Garen because spin to win, Fiora because we all know why, Aatrox because good player would never let WW get close to him... And to be honest many other champs can counter him, but people like to complain that WW is overpowered. You could even play Rammus top and win. Just because after Arcane many people started playing league, and they liked WW (mainly in lower elo's), doesn't mean that he's more op than most champs. Have a good day/night
W is Placebo bc they actually decreased the Attack Spd, the ACTUAL buff was the Ult hitbox adjustments. You now don’t teleport to the person behind you and now its not the size of a toothpick to land This one change is so huge bc it makes it easier to escape bad fights, and easier to gank mobile champs. If the immediate ramp up to the low health target is there, it should be an immediate drop in attack speed on the new target if they're healthy. That is ridiculous.
I can now see why so many people hate going up against Warwick in general. Just last-hit minion below 25 = you can now trade with anyone and win because your always at 100% HP when below 50.

To be honest, I love that they actually fixed these issues for Warwick, I think he's one of the most obnoxious champs in the game, but I've always hated playing him because of how clunky his W passive was, this should justify nerfs elsewhere to his kit now that his, arguably, most important skill works properly.

so prior to them messing with warwick for 14.23 (i think that was it), the W needed an auto cancel to get the attack speed properly. After 14.23, it felt very janky and inconsistent. That was when they added this new mechanic of persisting attack speed. 14.24 buffed it to the longer duration that is apparently broken. as a jungle WW otp i never wanted this weird buff (it's nice for the clear but not really necessary). I just wanted my W to apply like it did pre 14.23 so I could last hit minions fine like before and get a fast AS on low targets instead of waiting for the first incredibly slow auto. I don't care if they remove this W linger so long as the Q range is kept the same and the other changes stay... I don't want 14.23 ww back... also this new change doesnt alter the fundamental problems of WW's kit which are that he is easy to kite and is limited to flash E and R and R+E for playmaking tools. he is a melee auto attack champ. he's hardly as broken as some other kits that do way more... let my boi have his time in the sun for once! there's a reason why he isn't played at the highest levels of play. his design is meant to be a stat check all-in champ. if they just change it to 1s of lingering or even 0s just keep the damn coding the same for W bc i will lose my mind if it's changed to the awful version from before. a lot of WW mains just want some of the movespeed to linger after being hit in combat or while chasing bc it feels so janky for one auto to lose you 200 movespeed

Not only the author of this video sounds clearly ESL and is a numbermonkey, he clearly hasn't ever played the champ. For years we have suffered changes nobody asked for : Immediate loss of movespeed when taking damage (don't tell golds they still don't know) E recast preventing Q and R cast W simply not working when the team fights and we respawn (litterally no MS) Q locking IN from a SMITE (try it, Q tap a monster then smite) R range indicator still lagging behind the actual range after a sudden slow Passive still not applying life-steal despite being a on-hit spell. Plus the other famous passive bug that sometimes overheal over 50% (not complaining about this one) The intended design from the character creation was to run fast towards low health targets, attack fast momentarily and have a mid-range lock-CC. Now we can FINALLY have a seemingly pre-rework W. Remember it was originally 80% for 6 (SIX) seconds before rework, and half of that for allies. If the W also gave vision then I'd call it too strong. Until then, he's still as easy to kite.
This just proves that the people doing this change either don't understand warwick at all or they play it and wanted some free lp because the first thing I thought about is how easy it would be to even start raptors and maybe get your midlaner to hit once a small raptor to instantly give you the attack speed.

I think having it proc on the first auto is fine and a nice QoL change. However, that attack speed buff should only apply on attacks against the same target.
As a WW main, he definitely needs nerfs. They gave a lot of buffs. We did want attackspeed buff instantly against people that are low, i never really saw people asking for a longer lasting lingering attackspeed buff after we have hit a low target though. That doesnt feel like it makes sense for either player in the situation and is crazy strong in lane in particular. They could remove that feature or reduce its duration, reduce some stats and leave us our instant attack speed buff against already low hp targets and he could come out pretty well.
I disagree that this needs to be hot fixed. Theres plenty of champs who get an attack speed steroid for far more than 2 seconds. Its not as ridiculous as vandrill is putting it. Is it really nice? Yes. Warwick needs more in this crazy meta. Theres so muchreliable CC, so much damage from High ranged abilities, and so much mobility from ad carries. Youre telling me that isnt too strong? Warwicks ult has low base damage. He has issues with having reliable dps because all his damage is auto attacks, and being a juggernaut to boot. This means its easy to kite him and make his dps 0. Only by some miracle the enemy gets low enough can warwick actually do something. Meanwhile mages blow you up from across the screen with ease, and yea they also get a free pass during laning phase in mid lane because towers are still too close. Thats why the adc mid meta has always been an ongoing problem. Riot finally helps warwick actually function better to be good in todays meta, and now some videos like this get posted asking to knock him back down like hes gone out of line. Ive played many hours of warwick prior to these changes and I could always tell warwick would have glaring weaknesses that people exploited so easily. Like you dont even have to think about it much at all. Because hes a juggernaut that just auto attacks. Not hard to figure out what to do against him there. Just kite and CC. Brain dead simple. In many cases Warwicks E is not a real tank ability. Theres so much true damage and penetration in the game that percent damage reduction doesnt hold much value. Champs with those abilities just get blown up with ease regardless. So Warwick needed to have an update with improved combat. Hes a juggernaut, he needs to have high damage within his small range. But if he attacks too slow hes a freaking joke of a champ. His attack speed mechanics from his W were so inconsistent and difficult to setup that he needed these updates. Thats why Riot did these buffs for him. Im not the only one thinking this. Riot thought so too, and well enough to actually make it happen. So theres definitely much weight in my argument. So i agree with Riots changes to warwick. These changes help warwick to be a real champion and stand toe to toe against the other champions. Warwicks winrate is like that because people flat out dont respect warwick because they use to just deal with him so easily before. Players just gotta realize they cant just shrug off warwick and kite him with ease anymore. Hes a real champ now.
Warwick top is has been one of the most bullshit champions for so long. It's absolutely ridiculous for a lane champion to have that level of sustain. You can literally find clips of ww outhealing enemy toplaners auto-attacking him just by auto attacking minions. The matchup is completely unplayable for almost all champions. The only thing you can do is literally stay afk under tower and hope he doesn't get a good freeze. The only reason the champ didn't have an even higher winrate is that he falls off later in the game if you as a toplaner just afk and don't let him get that many kills in almost all matchups.
This dont need a hotfix, have the passive of attack speed when you select other target is the thing that ww mains asked for, they just need to nerf some dmg, but dont need to remove that.
That 15 range on his Q is pretty big though. To give you a couple of examples WW can now dodge both Darius' Q and Lillia's Q a lot more reliably, it also comes out a little bit sooner when cast against a champion that is actively CCing you like Vi's Q or Gragas' E (though I don't know if it can be used to deny that CC). Not to say those 15 units are THE reason Warwick is so strong right now, but one shouldn't discard them altogether.
The 15 range on Q was to make it match his hitbox size increase from a few patches ago. The pure OP factor we have now is because of the lingering effect on W.
Honestly this now will finally feel good to play him, cuz his auto attacks were so annoying and wonky for a long time, i hope they don't revert this back. They could lower the numbers or something
This is how his ability should work.. but only on Champions, Blue Buff, Red Buff, Void Grubs, Herald, Dragons and Baron. Minions and minor monsters shouldn't activate this effect.
Warwick main here. What everyone doesn't know is that he's been busted in top lane for a few years now. He didn't need the W change, and fixing it won't stop him.
So they can change his blood hunt pathing as a compensation nerf, right? So he cant run toward his tower in top lane at turbo speed while bot lane is 49℅ HP? Maybe jist put a radius on it like the active.
They just need to revert all the changes they made to his W. The slight QOL changes to his Q, E and R were enough to put him in an healthy state. I'm a 800k Mastery WW Jungle main and i really cba dealing with a buff/nerf roller coaster to justify a change nobody asked for.
That's been a problem with Warwick for a while: he had some annoying thing that made him feel bad to play, like his W updating weirdly (ESPECIALLY after the recent big set of changes) and his Q healing inconsistently, and the Q holding being fucky, and his R being too easy to cancel. However, all of these things negatively impact his gameplay and thus his WR, and his WR was fine. Meaning that if you fix these things, it increases his WR and makes him fuckin busted.
I have seen ww doing crazy things this new patch. Honestly I now have decided to play bot and top just because WW is that good. Fortunately I dont have too many issues handling him as cait but he is scary now.
I hope the revert the 2 seconds just back, i dont want to see my fav jungle being gutted somewhere else because of ritos incompetence of reflecting bad balancing
That attackspeed carry over “feature” got added in the Arcane buffs patch. I don’t think it was explicitly mentioned, but it definitely should not exist. Prepatch you were able to use the attack speed you gained from auto attacking a low health unit to speed up one auto attack and then your attackspeed would go back to normal. Riot please remove. Hopefully the new W changes fix how clunky his auto attacks were when you were trying to auto something below half HP and you wouldn’t receive the attackspeed buff until you made the first auto.
ok for a second I was scared because I played warwick toplane before it got too noticed (I like warwick ok? xD), but I think I agree, that's very big damage early and warwick was already great at cheesing most fights early (with barrier). I think they can nerf that proc how long it lasts or change how it works on minions vs champs or something. I wonder if ww can stat-check a lvl 1 fight now against darius and win - it used to be super iffy before before the w changes and because of darius bleed.

He is a nightmare for soloQ especially now since the League has lower standards with bad matchmaking that aims to punish you for winning, boosted players, players who bought accounts, bad mental people and people who just mute everyone every match to keep their anger in check and their account safe.
-Warwick is able to exploit every little lack of communication in soloQ with his passive. Being able to quickly show up on a lane where the enemy is low hp, regardless of their jungle rotation.
-He is clearly really strong at 1v1, I mean also played on top lane for a reason. Meaning he can easily invade enemy jungle, secure objectives and hold lanes easily on his own if necessary.
-He is able to reach everywhere if the enemy is not careful. Not careful meaning bad calls when low hp or when behind.
-He is a nightmare for every other jungler, especially when all lanes are pushing and refuse to listen.
-Warwick is able to gank and counter gank without losing much cs, most of the time it's the enemy jungler losing cs and falling behind because their team is flaming and they feel they have to gank more because Warwick is everywhere.
-His healing is out of this world. Have you ever seen a fed Warwick OTP building full lifesteal against little CS enemy team? It's worse than old Sion.
-His ulti amplifies everything above.
-A team with decent CC and average communication would be more than enough to take out Warwick but league is now a gamble when it comes to teammates so you'll just pray your team knows how to play and not full of people trying champions, boosted people who should be still playing on their Bronze accoounts or people who should have created their own accounts essentially learning the game on their own pace instead of jumping straight into high ranks with a bought account.

And the new Q range is ridiculous as well btw. I hit Q1 as Aatrox and the next thing I know is that I got a dawg right behind me and I'm dead. This wasn't the case before

apparently the q range is actually a bugfix, as when he got a bigger model his q range actually got lowered. the broken thing is the new W, as q is pretty much the exact same as a few months ago.
As a warwick main, we never asked for these changes, all we asked for was bug fixes, all they have to do was give us the attack speed on our first auto and make our w move speed stay when taking dmg

I didn't like the W changes in the first place (the original changes, not this patch), and now they made it so you get attack speed buffs two seconds after? The point was to get the attack speed on the bloodied target, not to kill a low health target and then attack as fast on a new target.
It doesn't even make thematic sense. He gets attack speed because he's frenzied by the blood of the target, why would he maintain the aggression against someone healthy?

Guys, I have a tip for you. When laning vs WW buy antiheal (at least the component). When playing ranged top just don't let him get close to you (If you're ganked, it doesn't mean that WW is op)
His W move speed is canceled on every attack he receives, and he's very vulnerable to slows and cc's
After he uses ult and you know how to kite, he's defenceless unless you get too close and let him use stridebreaker or Q on you
Also you can simply counter him with Malphite, Illaoi (after lvl 6), teemo (if you're good with Q's), Ornn (once you have bramblevest and steelcaps), Volibear since he also heals a ton and deals tons of damage, Darius because it's Darius, Garen because spin to win, Fiora because we all know why, Aatrox because good player would never let WW get close to him...
And to be honest many other champs can counter him, but people like to complain that WW is overpowered. You could even play Rammus top and win.
Just because after Arcane many people started playing league, and they liked WW (mainly in lower elo's), doesn't mean that he's more op than most champs.

W is Placebo bc they actually decreased the Attack Spd, the ACTUAL buff was the Ult hitbox adjustments. You now don’t teleport to the person behind you and now its not the size of a toothpick to land
This one change is so huge bc it makes it easier to escape bad fights, and easier to gank mobile champs. If you ask me though, they should remove his W passive on Minions. WW is a jng champ, I don’t want him top, so kill it Rito pls (without nerfing Jng)
W is not placebo. Massive bugs like this have huge winrate effects and without compensation nerfs bug fixes can be extremely unbalanced.

If the immediate ramp up to the low health target is there, it should be an immediate drop in attack speed on the new target if they're healthy. That is ridiculous.

Just last-hit minion below 25 = you can now trade with anyone and win because your always at 100% HP when below 50.
I really hope they just tone down his numbers instead of reverting the bug fixes. He feels so much better to play now.

To be honest, I love that they actually fixed these issues for Warwick, I think he's one of the most obnoxious champs in the game, but I've always hated playing him because of how clunky his W passive was, this should justify nerfs elsewhere to his kit now that his, arguably, most important skill works properly.

WW main gimmick is the hunt mechanic and the ability to stick to his target.
As matter of fact WW couldve no healing in his kit and he would not lose his identity of being a "hunter".

so prior to them messing with warwick for 14.23 (i think that was it), the W needed an auto cancel to get the attack speed properly. After 14.23, it felt very janky and inconsistent. That was when they added this new mechanic of persisting attack speed. 14.24 buffed it to the longer duration that is apparently broken.
as a jungle WW otp i never wanted this weird buff (it's nice for the clear but not really necessary). I just wanted my W to apply like it did pre 14.23 so I could last hit minions fine like before and get a fast AS on low targets instead of waiting for the first incredibly slow auto. I don't care if they remove this W linger so long as the Q range is kept the same and the other changes stay... I don't want 14.23 ww back...
also this new change doesnt alter the fundamental problems of WW's kit which are that he is easy to kite and is limited to flash E and R and R+E for playmaking tools. he is a melee auto attack champ. he's hardly as broken as some other kits that do way more... let my boi have his time in the sun for once! there's a reason why he isn't played at the highest levels of play. his design is meant to be a stat check all-in champ.
if they just change it to 1s of lingering or even 0s just keep the damn coding the same for W bc i will lose my mind if it's changed to the awful version from before. a lot of WW mains just want some of the movespeed to linger after being hit in combat or while chasing bc it feels so janky for one auto to lose you 200 movespeed

Not only the author of this video sounds clearly ESL and is a numbermonkey, he clearly hasn't ever played the champ. For years we have suffered changes nobody asked for :
Immediate loss of movespeed when taking damage (don't tell golds they still don't know)
E recast preventing Q and R cast
W simply not working when the team fights and we respawn (litterally no MS)
Q locking IN from a SMITE (try it, Q tap a monster then smite)
R range indicator still lagging behind the actual range after a sudden slow
Passive still not applying life-steal despite being a on-hit spell.
Plus the other famous passive bug that sometimes overheal over 50% (not complaining about this one)
The intended design from the character creation was to run fast towards low health targets, attack fast momentarily and have a mid-range lock-CC.
Now we can FINALLY have a seemingly pre-rework W. Remember it was originally 80% for 6 (SIX) seconds before rework, and half of that for allies.
If the W also gave vision then I'd call it too strong. Until then, he's still as easy to kite.
This just proves that the people doing this change either don't understand warwick at all or they play it and wanted some free lp because the first thing I thought about is how easy it would be to even start raptors and maybe get your midlaner to hit once a small raptor to instantly give you the attack speed.

I think it takes time for players to adapt against new WW Top being a thing and so WW mains can sneak in a win streak for a day.

I think having it proc on the first auto is fine and a nice QoL change. However, that attack speed buff should only apply on attacks against the same target.
The attack speed fix is what threw him over the edge, he was always strong but played clunky

As a WW main, he definitely needs nerfs. They gave a lot of buffs. We did want attackspeed buff instantly against people that are low, i never really saw people asking for a longer lasting lingering attackspeed buff after we have hit a low target though. That doesnt feel like it makes sense for either player in the situation and is crazy strong in lane in particular. They could remove that feature or reduce its duration, reduce some stats and leave us our instant attack speed buff against already low hp targets and he could come out pretty well.
These changes definitely needed to happen because he felt so disjoint, but he for sure needs to be adjusted to compensate the fluidity changes

I disagree that this needs to be hot fixed. Theres plenty of champs who get an attack speed steroid for far more than 2 seconds. Its not as ridiculous as vandrill is putting it. Is it really nice? Yes. Warwick needs more in this crazy meta. Theres so muchreliable CC, so much damage from High ranged abilities, and so much mobility from ad carries. Youre telling me that isnt too strong? Warwicks ult has low base damage. He has issues with having reliable dps because all his damage is auto attacks, and being a juggernaut to boot. This means its easy to kite him and make his dps 0. Only by some miracle the enemy gets low enough can warwick actually do something. Meanwhile mages blow you up from across the screen with ease, and yea they also get a free pass during laning phase in mid lane because towers are still too close. Thats why the adc mid meta has always been an ongoing problem. Riot finally helps warwick actually function better to be good in todays meta, and now some videos like this get posted asking to knock him back down like hes gone out of line. Ive played many hours of warwick prior to these changes and I could always tell warwick would have glaring weaknesses that people exploited so easily. Like you dont even have to think about it much at all. Because hes a juggernaut that just auto attacks. Not hard to figure out what to do against him there. Just kite and CC. Brain dead simple. In many cases Warwicks E is not a real tank ability. Theres so much true damage and penetration in the game that percent damage reduction doesnt hold much value. Champs with those abilities just get blown up with ease regardless. So Warwick needed to have an update with improved combat. Hes a juggernaut, he needs to have high damage within his small range. But if he attacks too slow hes a freaking joke of a champ. His attack speed mechanics from his W were so inconsistent and difficult to setup that he needed these updates. Thats why Riot did these buffs for him. Im not the only one thinking this. Riot thought so too, and well enough to actually make it happen. So theres definitely much weight in my argument. So i agree with Riots changes to warwick. These changes help warwick to be a real champion and stand toe to toe against the other champions. Warwicks winrate is like that because people flat out dont respect warwick because they use to just deal with him so easily before. Players just gotta realize they cant just shrug off warwick and kite him with ease anymore. Hes a real champ now.

Warwick top is has been one of the most bullshit champions for so long. It's absolutely ridiculous for a lane champion to have that level of sustain. You can literally find clips of ww outhealing enemy toplaners auto-attacking him just by auto attacking minions.
The matchup is completely unplayable for almost all champions. The only thing you can do is literally stay afk under tower and hope he doesn't get a good freeze.
The only reason the champ didn't have an even higher winrate is that he falls off later in the game if you as a toplaner just afk and don't let him get that many kills in almost all matchups.
This dont need a hotfix, have the passive of attack speed when you select other target is the thing that ww mains asked for, they just need to nerf some dmg, but dont need to remove that.

That 15 range on his Q is pretty big though. To give you a couple of examples WW can now dodge both Darius' Q and Lillia's Q a lot more reliably, it also comes out a little bit sooner when cast against a champion that is actively CCing you like Vi's Q or Gragas' E (though I don't know if it can be used to deny that CC).
Not to say those 15 units are THE reason Warwick is so strong right now, but one shouldn't discard them altogether.
The 15 range on Q was to make it match his hitbox size increase from a few patches ago. The pure OP factor we have now is because of the lingering effect on W.
you can deny CC from Vi's Q but not from Gragas's E (his E is Airbone + Stun at the same time)
A simple fix would be to make it to where minions don’t trigger the effect tbh.
Honestly this now will finally feel good to play him, cuz his auto attacks were so annoying and wonky for a long time, i hope they don't revert this back. They could lower the numbers or something

I'm a 800k Mastery WW Jungle main and i really cba dealing with a buff/nerf roller coaster to justify a change nobody asked for.
That's been a problem with Warwick for a while: he had some annoying thing that made him feel bad to play, like his W updating weirdly (ESPECIALLY after the recent big set of changes) and his Q healing inconsistently, and the Q holding being fucky, and his R being too easy to cancel. However, all of these things negatively impact his gameplay and thus his WR, and his WR was fine. Meaning that if you fix these things, it increases his WR and makes him fuckin busted.
I have seen ww doing crazy things this new patch. Honestly I now have decided to play bot and top just because WW is that good. Fortunately I dont have too many issues handling him as cait but he is scary now.

That attackspeed carry over “feature” got added in the Arcane buffs patch. I don’t think it was explicitly mentioned, but it definitely should not exist. Prepatch you were able to use the attack speed you gained from auto attacking a low health unit to speed up one auto attack and then your attackspeed would go back to normal. Riot please remove. Hopefully the new W changes fix how clunky his auto attacks were when you were trying to auto something below half HP and you wouldn’t receive the attackspeed buff until you made the first auto.
a way to stop it is to make the attack speed only applies to the target that ww is hitting no? reverting it back just makes the change kindda useless
ok for a second I was scared because I played warwick toplane before it got too noticed (I like warwick ok? xD), but I think I agree, that's very big damage early and warwick was already great at cheesing most fights early (with barrier). I think they can nerf that proc how long it lasts or change how it works on minions vs champs or something. I wonder if ww can stat-check a lvl 1 fight now against darius and win - it used to be super iffy before before the w changes and because of darius bleed.
