Should. Be. Native. Function. In ArchiCAD. I mean seriously, how many relatively casual though enthusiastic ArchiCAD-Grasshopper users can have the skill to create the Grasshopper definition of the complexity shown in this video necessary to do this conversion? This is a function that Graphisoft themselves should have foreseen as being necessary or required when they first introduced the Morph tool, but not having to depend on a connection to an outside software to achieve it. It's almost like always relying on outsiders (third party plugins or separate third party software altogether) to resolve your internal software problems, shortcomings and deficiencies - which has always been a longstanding gripe I've always had with the ArchiCAD development process.
Grasshopper is hard, I'm slowly moving to Revit because of this... I'm sad from graphisoft, they should create something more easier than connection with grasshopper.
