Thank you Ross . I have a few others quietly progressing but am currently enjoying riding a few and getting some miles in whilst the weather is , mostly , good 👍
Can you imagine if Mr Millyard decided to see what he could do to make the Hayabusa a fast bike 😂. Love your vids Michael, fast becoming a favourite watch. I would love to see you take a look at the Honda CB1100RS, I think that just looks like the archetypal motorbike. Second hand now in the UK, but I suspect far too heavy for me now at 262kg. Regards Denis
Hi Denis . I can honestly say I have never got off the hayabusa and thought "what this bike needs is more power"😂 I wonder if I still have a licence , maybe . I like the Honda too . If I get a chance I will try one ! Thank you for watching!
The 1999 silver/copper would do a fraction over 200mph on a very long straight road without traffic but then the regulators cut the top speed down. The new bike looks pretty much the same except for the giant cans but i do think the ABS and improved braking will be a bonus especially with todays larger volumes of traffic. the first Busa's braking was only just adequate at very high speeds.
Thank you Philip . I had heard some of the initial bikes were “200 mph bikes” but didn’t find any official two way test results that confirmed it , hence the 194 figure quoted. I found plenty of lightly modified bikes that beat 200 regularly and more modified bikes that did significantly more . It will be interesting to see what the tuners can do with the new one?
I am very surprised that this bike is not staying in your stable Michael I must say I have never been a big fan of the Busa mainly because of the enormity of it's mass ,but I will say the new gen's are more appealing although I will never have one I do kind of like it in the black livery but personally the Suzuki I would like to own is the GSX S1000 naked and might yet own one maybe next year if it is possible I will add not a new one though : ) cheers good watch .
I think one just like it might be 😂 I have a GSX1000F ... fantastic K5 engine but not in the same league as the busa , power and ride . Different bike and great fun , in a different way !
Lucky boy getting your hands on one of these. I'm still very disappointed they didn't give the Busa a 6 cylinder, THAT would've reignited the Busa spark in people. Make it cost effective by sharing the 6 pot with a cruiser or something ? Alas Suzuki is spending so little on R&D these days and I almost don't blame them in a way...
I can see your point of view . For Gen 1 and 2 owners it is clearly an evolution not a revolution . For those that want more power I suspect the engine will respond well to good tuners but time will tell ? My early perception of the Busa’s put me off and I bought different types of bikes during the GEN1 /early 2 periods . I haven’t tried this type of performance bike for a few years and was pretty impressed . I think it is a very good bike👍
Howard . If you watch a little further I show the RR when talking about the Quick shifter . Will probably do a video in series 2 . Need to get out and ride some bikes first . 😂
😂 I am not sure 140mph wheelies have ever been my thing ! I will leave that to the motorcycle journalists and full on Hayabusa fans . What I liked about the bike was its performance and real world usability.
I was a bit surprised to hear that , in the States , some choose this as their fast bike . In the UK you need to work your way up to such powerful bikes . Need to put some more miles on mine 👍 Have fun , ride safe !
I click thumbs-up as soon as the video starts, because I'm guaranteed to like it. Cheers.
😂 . Thank you . Its a great bike . I bought one …
I have really loved the entire series you put together. Thank you for putting together such nice presentations and I look forward to more.
I really enjoyed this one.
A couple of my friends had Hayabusa,s back in the early 2000s
Great series, extremely interesting, and always look forward to them.

This is great...fascinating stuff...I'm learning so much...
Thank you . I try to make my videos informative and about the bike rather than me so I am glad you enjoyed it 👍
Really enjoyed it!

@@michaelmam Doh i must of missed that some how..
Add good informative video Michael. Not for me at my age . The thoughts of 140mph wheelies no longer excite me ;-)

What a weapon this thing is. I really admire this but it is a terrifying prospect to me, a relatively inexperienced rider
