Thanks for doing a beginners tutorial of BM3. I have had it for months and never figured out how to get far with it. Now, I see where to begin and what it's capable of doing. I needed this jumpstart.
There's a group of experienced and friendly BM3 users (including myself) over on Intua's forums who would be happy to help explain any of the more advanced/tricky features for you. (intua.net/forums)
Ya, I’m still not sure what the advantages are with this DAW over any of the other more user friendly options available. I still find navigation very tedious and disorienting. Actually I gave up on it.
Hello The sound test room. After few years I decided to buy BM3 , my heart is devote to cubasis but in coupple of hours testing this app, I must say that rocks , it seems incredibly simple, but the true is that hides inside awesome possibilities to do in pratice everything, expecially with bass 808 and other great apps that offers awesome sounds like Beathawk for instance. In any case I belive that music is just awesome with or without ipad and relatives app. Let me also tell you one more thing my youtube buddy, your passion is litterally contagious, 'cause of you I bought insane apps, but I still happy anytime a new review came up from your channel , maybe the love you feel for the music is the same (amplified) you give throught youtube, I like think this way. I wish you a Merry Christmas a super great Appyear, and please don't stop ! Thank you.
Well! I just started dabbling in BM3 a few days ago after running into some Garageband limitations, and this overview came at a great time. Pretty easy to follow, and makes it very focused on the initial basics. Great job! BTW, I tried fixing the Patreon and having issues, but will go back to it and work it out. As ever, many thanks! Looking forward to more tuts on this level and onward with BM3.
Hi there I’m new to BeatMaker 3 and I seem to have lost the ashes kit as it doesn’t appear in the bank list, how do I get it back ? Many thanks for this great tutorial.
Might be nice if you linked to the Intua website and the Beatmaker 3 community, that is the only place that beginners and experienced users can get instant help with Beatmaker and there is also a huge amount of free resources there !!!
Yeah, actually that’s a brilliant idea, I'll sort that out tomorrow on this video and my others, I am planning more of this basic tutorials for BM3, hopefully it will attract more people to the app
+1 for the BM3 community on Intua's forums. I'm a regular there (user: tk32) and we're all happy to help new BM3 users build their skills, engage in monthly challenges, and give out free banks/presets and resources (intua.net/forums)
Hi Tom, OK so here’s the plan. Today I will add the Forum link and site link to this and my other BM3 videos. And I'll create a BM3 Playlist and start adding mine and others BM3 videos to that. And I'll join the forum too😎
Dude, BM3 is not for beginners or even intermediate players. This is a pro app for folks working in the business. This isn’t a passive, make a song for your SoundCloud page kinda idea. This is a tool to make Pro level simulations to help you grow. It’s amazing and it’s so much biggger than I am. I’m gonna take a UA-cam course to learn the kinda ideas inside this
Because there is still a lot of things you cant do in garage band such as proper sample editing, you cant create your own drum kits and mix and match them on the pads, I wish you could cause then I think it would be amazing!

Nice one. I got this app when it was on offer and not tried it yet. I’m going to see how I get on with it. Thanks.
i realize I'm kinda randomly asking but do anyone know a good website to stream newly released movies online ?
@Marcellus Jermaine i would suggest FlixZone. Just google for it =)
Very good video for a beginner, and I am one. Just one advice not moving your hand when you search a button , quite difficult to follow ;-)
Thanks Doug like April I got this a while ago... Epic piece of kit by the looks of it:-)
How much does the BM3 cost ? It's a one time payment ? Monthly ? How many gigabytes do I need in my iPad ?
Is there a way to reorganize the mixer and create group busses for mixing purposes? If not, that’s rather limiting.. (pun intended).
Which iPad do you use ?
BM3 Crashes on it ?
Please help , BM3 crashes Everytime it's really annoying. 😤😤😤😤😤😤😤
iPad pro

Awesome. Thank u
Out of interest is that a 12" iPad or 9.7? ?
Hey Daniel, this is an Air 2, so 9.7
Your beat sounded like a Boards of Canada type track.
🔥🎶

If GarageBand has live loops why would BeatMaker 3 be needed
Because there is still a lot of things you cant do in garage band such as proper sample editing, you cant create your own drum kits and mix and match them on the pads, I wish you could cause then I think it would be amazing!
Because I said so
Hope next time you switch off your auto sharp function on camera...but nice video..
