I love how they added spall liner to every main mbt in the game besides the abrams because ya know reasons, I'm getting sick of them intentionally making American stuff worse in some cases so Russia don't have a panic attack because irl there military is a joke, think about it, our small funding to Ukraine with some of our technology held off Russia.... there is just simply no reason nor excuse that all the abrams shouldn't have it its literally part of the armor, it's modded in game and they have put it on multiple things, it's is vary well known on the abrams all of them infact, they just want to make them bad..... and tbh I'm sick of it gaijin...... it's sad it really is, stop disrespecting my countrys mbt

To be honest I am more concerned about the massive BR compression and technological differences within those BRs that’s currently going on (especially in air rb), than I am about spall liners.

@@Grimmyboy66 Vehicles that massively outperform other vehicles in their sister BRs, playing together. F-4's with F-15s for example. Nothing new for WT. Although a little better than it was.

The F3H2 constantly faces top of the line Mig21s, Mig23s, SU7s, SU25s, Phantoms, and other supersonic, countermeasure and decent missile equipped aircraft, all whilst being subsonic, having no missiles, and having no countermeasures. As for the F8, the first time I took it out I got 2 missiles lobbed at me by a Tornado and damn near killed by a 11.0 Draken variant only to be saved by a 11.0 Phantom, all of which are now a staple of the F8s matchmaking.

the amount of people steaming and seathing over this slightly better T-72 is honestly funny.
You can use the "Save Ammo" option to keep the Abram's round up in the armor protection view without having to type out the name each time.
Also I think the problem with Spall Liners is that it punishes you for flanking and getting crafty, and most of the vehicles that had them irl don't have em yet in game.
That ERA on the Tracks really do come in handy

I request a video on the He 100! It's stupidly fast for 1.7, can hold 550+ km/h at deck no problem, excellent climber, only downside is it's engine likes to burn so keep an eye on the temp. Not too OP, and super fun! Bring it to a higher br for a challenge if you want

At the time, I felt like that criticism wasn't fair and I think it affected your videos and perhaps limited your enjoyment over making them. Having seen all of the drama surrounding the T-90 on the War Thunder Reddit, I don't know that I can stomach watching this.
You could easily. I played dozens of matches as Soviets since the update dropped and every time I faced Germany or Sweden at top tier, my team just evaporates under the unrelenting hordes of Leo2s and Strv122s. The new spall liners had made them much harder to kill than before, Sweden especially so.
I feel especially sorry for US and minor nations players however, since their tanks have always been shat on by the devs.
Why? The drama turned out to be wrong.

If you fire a sabot at the turret of this thing and make it close enough for the spall to hit the gunner, it will straight up do nothing. Doesn't even damage the duy

I feel like the whack-a-mol makes sense for heavily protected top tier tanks, also the Challenger 2's and 3 now are insanely survivable, would love to see a vid on them!
I'm on the fence. Spall liners save lives, but unlike real life, a damaged tank can be repaired in the field in thirty seconds. Making spall liners unintentionally more powerful in game than they otherwise would be.
Don't know brother, I've been 1 tap popped hull down with my Negro Knight through my breach many times and I only carry 16 shells.

I'm not complaining at how good the T-90M is. It does have a spall liner IRL, plus obviously a game is gonna make things better than real life. my complaint is that the Abrams, Leo, and Challenger aren't at least on par, if not slightly better. The distinct capability gap between Russian and everyone else is astounding
NATO tanks have had spall liners since the early 80s but but gaijin hates nato. They got the Russian bias going on strong
@@904_noah The damn Sherman had a spall liner. Spall liners are mid to late WWII tech from the days when artillery was more of a thing. The issue here is that it's not spalling from the interior portion of the armor that's fragmenting, it's the actual sabot shaving pieces of itself off that's scattering around like buckshot inside of the tank. Spall liners don't do anything for that.

I had 5 rank 7 tanks but now that 11.7 is at rank 8 I cant research the 2a7, It will take so long for me to research all the tanks I need now, I wish I could just research the 2a7 since I have the PSO which comes before it.
Is it only me or has the Sumua SM neck weakspot been buffed? it no longer really gets pened by anything lower than 240mm, just looked at it and it has gone from 40mm to 120mm plus 120mm under it!!

They were added like 1 update ago, and when they were still on dev server each petal had like 60mm of penetration, now they have around 30
I’ve come back to top tier to get my beloved Chally lineup completed now there are new variants and I’ve found that the Russian and Leo tanks been dying more reliably than previous updates. Overall I’m happy with this update. Now all feel free to attack me 😂
Yeah, never had issues with BVM on public, sometimes with great players in Squadron battles. But overall never struggled to kill them also died to one shots in my BVM more than in any Leopard ever. Only M1 series sometimes troll you that you shoot them to the lower side and it showed Ricochet or Nonpen even tho you hit weakest part... Then there are Swedish Leopards... Sometimes they are a bunker lol.
Glad the Challies got better, got my DS in sales and now considering the new premium Challenger when it gets discounted as well. But I will probably have the tech tree ones before it gets discounted lol.

Even with spall liner it’s not realistic at all. If the M829 penetrates which is a DU sabot by the way, the insides are going to go up in flames as the decelerating depleted uranium would shape and sharpen while increases her temperature significantly to become white hot molten spellings that actually go up in flames once it exits the armor material and thus vaporosing everything inside. Basically one shot kill with ability to take out the crew inside instantaneously. War Thunder till this day refuses to acknowledge the true lethality of DU sabot which is a battlefield game changer.
Love the video but the DM53 Round Fired from the 2A6 and 2A7 have more pen then the M1A2's and there M829A2 Round.

The fuel tank exploded actually cuz I had something similar when I got hit by HE and both my fuel tanks blew up but the kill just made no sense at all but uk it's the snail we're talking about here

I tend to be biased and like the look of Western tanks when asked about looks, but fully kitted t-90 I love. I think I prefer a fully kitted look period. Antennas, ERA, etc. Anyone else feel the same way?
Day 122, we've seen the Sturmtiger and ASU-57 at top tier, Now we want to see the RBT-5 at top tier WITH OddBawz and Spookston, with air support from Defyn(thanks to @Torrengen for the Defyn idea).
this video casually showing everything that was already wrong with top tier but is now worse, T80BVM already seeming like it had a spall liner before spall liners were even officially in the game, and what happens when you add a spall liner to a vehicle that already didn't need one now practically becomes invincible. Like just think about the 70% winrate that Russia had at top tier with their only top tier vehicle being the BVM.... Now they basically get a second BVM
BVM Still better than T-90M in reload and speed, this "armor" helps only agaist dumb enemies. Thats not even close to BVM its little bit closer to T-72B3 level but with worse mobility and better "armor". Idk what Gajins do with damage of APSDFSs literally all of them lose it. And most of NATo mbts got spall liners too. So i hope they gonna fix damage of APSDFSs
