In his 20+ year career aesop has had one performance on live national tv when he was on the late show and he chose to do this song in an ironic and subtle jab to the mainstream scene that probably went over alot of peoples heads
I think the dog at the start is a Blue Heeler (Aussie cattle dog). I believe this track is all about his disillusionment with the whole hip hop scene, sort of a dis aimed at the whole scene as it stands at the mo. If you go back and listen to it with that in mind it all fits together I think.

This song has been my gateway drug to Aesop. I have heard some of his songs before, but the baseline in this one - and the hook - got me HOOKED. Also, the sorcery references.
