Thing is with one on one therapy I’ve rarely met a therapist that I would call good except one out of many. It’s expensive going to 10 therapists and wasting all that money before finding someone who is amazing.
I’m a therapist and would recommend interviewing your potential therapist prior to committing to therapy. This way you’re finding out if you were a good fit and what their qualifications are that you were looking for to meet your specific needs.
@@1130Tim When you’ve been raised by narcissistic parents who kept infantilizing you in your adulthood and you feel like a child, and you feel like people can step on you and crush you and you say «thank you», feel like people can cheat you and you say «thank you», and you KNOW that people are mean to you and disrespectful but you don’t say anything because you feel paralyzed, you feel vulnerable because your parents are not here to speak for you, …you are UNABLE to interview any professional and tell them they’re not good for you. You just DON’T DARE. And if you decide to change your therapist (any doctor, gynecologist, dentist…), you just hope the former one won’t ask you WHY you changed. Because you are scared to say they don’t fit you, because you’re scared of all the WHY to come. And that’s why you need a therapy ! To be able to tell your therapist he’s not good for you. Then you know you’ve became an adult !
I think she is far from fake but providing psychoeducation for the general public. Many people know what to do but don’t do it. I don’t know how many clients I have seen that know the right things to do but yet they’re not doing it on a consistent basis which is the factor for change.
Thanks doctor

Well she has a new angle at tackling it
I find her to be interesting. Sometimes we forget what we know.
What is she telling us😢, that we don't already know? This is known psychology written and practised for years. Another money making fake
