The Commentor 3 look at like 2:03 when chillin tries to spike him. It's not that simple. It's like trying to spike jigglypuff in melee. It never happens haha
do you mean that you want to play kirby by learning from chu but you think its too hard, or you dont want to play him anymore after seeing this type of playstyle plz feedback ty i nob
Blindykid Oh never mind, i only read the first half of your comment, Sorry I was being sarcastic lol. And not trying to be arrogant, i think i might be in the top 15 kirby in PM in the world right now.
I like Omni's sportsmanship in this. He got cheesed and he doesn't lose his mind like some of the people in these comments would he has some fun with it. I was dying at that "nooooooooo"
The way the day changes to night and back to day on Battlefield in these Chudat matches in particular is very symbolic of how long these matches are actually taking.
He hangs off the ledge BECAUSE he has the massive lead. Since his opponent is in a loosing situation they have to rush in on him which is as proven by this video not the most optimal thing to do. If Chu didn't have the lead he wouldn't hang on the edge seeing as how his opponent can simply just wait and time him out.
The Mexican Cowboy usually u hang because you are playing defensively case in point: many matches where aMSa is trying to recover from being knocked off stage
Come on, DP gets wobblesed like no tomorrow, I dont blame him for his salt. When all of your highlight losses are mostly wobbles, you'd be salty too. "hey DP, how did you lose that match?" "Wobbles." "AGAIN?! DUDE."
Up until now, this is, hands down, your best video of all. This guy is hilarious. Keep this videos coming. They're gold :D And if I may add, a video of the top 10 DP handshake/fistbump deny would be much appreciated.

Watching Chudat's kirby play...it actually makes me glad that a player like this exists. Yes, it must be damn annoying to play against someone like that, but in the end, I think the fact that he is so annoying to play against is a good way to measure yourself up in the patience category. He also plays a style that requires a different mentality. If someone can learn how to play against Chudat, that person can learn to play against just about anybody, I feel. Also, watching him play can be either be horrendously boring, or funny as all get out...I like funny chudat, I don't like boring Chudat.
Mang0- The goat melee Armada-The new goat melee Mew2king- the goat of brawl and former goat of melee Leffen- The Villain of melee CHU is the fucking troll of smash
You have yourself a new subscriber. you do amazing work putting these together. As an for an idea. Top 10 PKT2 kills? I don't know how hard that would be to find or how much it had been suggested in the past, but PKT2 kills are always pretty hype.
I grew up with a Kirby player who did the same thing in 64 and Melee. You can also use Kirby's throws off the stage in melee, and kirby dies slightly after and you can win matches that way too, but its more risky because if they break away kirby still throws himself off the stage
Kirby was never overpowered or anything. The reason this tactic is working so well for him is that he's just super experienced and intelligent as a player and whatnot. Although at one point they did alter ledge mechanics so that after five regrabs it will stop refreshing your invincibility until the next time you touch the stage.
This was before a Kirby nerf actually. Inhale had too much mobility, allowing an easy suicide from center stage. Note that Kirby retains all his momentum.
Actually if you go back to the clip right after timer ends, you can hear the announcer say "sudden death" breifly, then they skipped the sudden death where chudat (I assume) won, but June did win that match
"No no no please!"Chillin goes for the spike and gets swallowed The noise he makes cannot be described and does not need to as its so fucking hilarious to repeat.
***** Because he is playing in a TOURNAMENT. Everyone in there is in there to compete and test themselves against the best players. Also there are thousands of people watching and Chu is just staying on the ledge for minutes at a time wasting 5 minutes to just ban a stage and just being a huge disrespectful asshole towards the other players and fans in general.
Bio Zelink When you're playing in a competitive environment, you play to win. That means using whatever means you deem necessary/appropriate (provided they're allowed within the game's/tournament's rules) to get it done. If stalling on ledge is going to get him the win, then it's totally in his right to do it. In fact, saying that he's in a tournament is really the ONLY time this is a reasonable thing to do. If you're just playing friendly games like this, that's kind of a dick move, but if there's money on the line, or any other form of prize support, then go for it. As for the stage ban stall, while I imagine he mainly did it for trolling purposes, the psychological effect it can have on some players makes it viable as a tactic, too. It can put some people on tilt, which would mess with their ability to play effectively. Ledge stalling like he does can also have this effect, but I imagine it's something most of the higher caliber players are used to. In short, a tournament setting encourages these practices. If you're bothered, then the competitive scene isn't for you.
Polski Suzeren Yeah sure it is a viable tactic but that doesn't change the fact he is an asshole for choosing it. There are plenty of great players that use skills rather than cheap tricks and frustrating their opponents. It's kind of like kicking the other guy in the balls in UfC while the referee isn't looking. And stalling is technically not allowed in the rule-set but then again so is coaching.
If the tactic doesn't count as stalling as described by the ruleset, then it's legal. Kicking someone in the balls while the referee isn't looking is still against the rules, regardless of whether or not you get caught. The way I see it, this is no more cheap than infinites, brawl meta knight, or anything else. Ultimately though, our opinions are irrelevant. If it's allowed in the ruleset, it's fair game. End of story.
They did a Sudden Death match in which Chu won. At least that's what it seemed like. June still won the game technically as Sudden Deaths don't count of course.
Baio Rinku Diddy won. Kirby had more percentage so Junebug won the game but then chudat won the sudden death, which doesn't matter, so that is why it displays kirby as having won the match.
no, because the other player can simply go there and challenge them. Stalling is an issue when it can be done somewhere unreachable, such as below the stage.
Nope, he's taking advantage of a broken character in a poorly made game. Perfectly legal. Happened to me when I played a kirby in tourney once. It was garbage but that's what I got for letting someone convince me to play PM.
tbh for me its a shame to see something like this in the competetive scene. much less enjoyable to watch. i watch all tournaments to not see stuff like that. and i am not a good player at all.i suck at smash. but i like to watch tournamnets

NextLevelGamer But you know what happens when you DON'T break out?
Man, I mean it's funny to watch, but I'd be pissed off if I was playing against him and he kept doing that .__.
I'm surprised he didn't get smacked. Considering how temperamental some o those players are.
It can't be too hard to get past, right? Wavedash, short hop and down air with most characters seems viable.

I think it's hilarious how Brawl Battlefield has the progression in the day. It makes it all the more hilarious watching the timelapse.
How would you even win in that situation? How do you force kirby off the ledge?
You don't.
If m2k and zero teamed up can't do it. Noone can
Pit's/Dark Pit's, Link's/Toon Link's arrows, Samus' and Megaman's charged shots, Mario's fireballs, Ness' PK fire, basically anyone with ranged projectiles.

Whenever someone starts complaining about Smash 4's ledge mechanics this will be a good video to show. Also Chu is quite the titanic asshole.
Why? Because he likes to dick around in PM?
***** Because he is playing in a TOURNAMENT. Everyone in there is in there to compete and test themselves against the best players. Isn't excessive stalling against tournament rules?
No, it's legit, that's why people kind of dislike Dabuz's playstyle.
The two weeklies I go to ban this kind of thing. I guess it's just a local thing.
siLveRscOpe13x I wouldn't mind that being world wide tbh.
Lol North Texas does it right.
siLveRscOpe13x With the rules most commonly used, stalling is only taking an infinite combo past 300%
I've noticed that almost every time someone tries to break away and get back on stage, they end up saving Chudat and killing themselves.
How did Kirby win on the last battle? he had more % same stocks
ya im wondering that too
Junebug actually won, the game went to sudden death and Chudat won the sudden death, but in tournaments, sudden death doesn't matter.
They did a Sudden Death match in which Chu won. At least that's what it seemed like. June still won the game technically as Sudden Deaths don't count of course.

Im reminded of how much of an OG larry lurr is whenever i see him in old clips like this
how did chudat won in the last clip? i dont get it
KOKA KCK He "won" the sudden death but Junebug actually won the game/the match
KOKA KCK He wins because he was under 150 ledge grabs; otherwise its stalling... They must have cut some of the match out
Benji Ekern But he got more persentage than Diddy didn't he? How did he won? D: I'm confused XD
Baio Rinku Diddy won. Kirby had more percentage so Junebug won the game but then chudat won the sudden death, which doesn't matter, so that is why it displays kirby as having won the match.
Oh, Okay, thanks, I knew that by torunament rules Diddy won XD
"Should there be a limit on ledge stalling."
TO: Limit is 142 edge grabs
Chu: 🤔
oh come on!
this is so unfair
"There's something against this in the Geneva Convention."
This is now my new most-quoted line.
Camping on the ledge isn't considered stalling/illegal?
no, because the other player can simply go there and challenge them. Stalling is an issue when it can be done somewhere unreachable, such as below the stage.
It's not a barbecue without the best ingredients.
Depends on the TO's rule set
