I love 1 pot wonders very tasty The way i make gravy 2 cups of water packet of french onion soup mix and a beef oxo cube its a 1cm cube of dry beef stock essentially and just throw it in the slow cooker and over time that gravy will thicken

One tablespoon of beef gravy granules with hot water in a bowl to the consistency you want saves all that faffing about with roux.
It makes me feel posh!
Why have you not browned the beef off ?
It was very early in the morning and couldn’t be bothered.
