I have it; it came as a set, along with a nice 5.11 hat I purchased.
It's great knife, I like a lot. Very elegant blade, and it's sharp (did the shave-test on my leg hair, lol). Construction is strong, and the grip is sturdy. Locking mechanism is solid as well. I give it an A+.
i t got this knife, its amazing so far :) it flicks open extremly fast and smooth and the blade is very nice. it also fits in hand very nicely.
You can put some grip tape on the top of the blade to add traction. Wipe the part with alcohol 1st then put grip tape. I do this on my knives that don't have jimping.
It is sharp as hell!
@TehWitZz I noticed that the 5.11 website no longer offers this deal. I think LAPG got them all for the 5.11 stuff they sell. Thanks for the update.
@jacksondoughty I really like this knife, they also make some great clothing! I am currently testing the uniform class A and B pants. The review will follow soon, but I really love the Class B with all of the pockets!
I have one, works great, only problem i had is that the blade wobbles a bit after use.
@samurai165 Thank you. I am still trying to get the lighting nailed down. Lighting makes or breaks how the video looks. The blade is nice and it feels good in hand.
That blade steel is probably either 440C or 8CR13MoV........the knife itself is probably from Enlan/Bee, Navy, or Sanrenmu. Not the best steels, but decent for the money. The knives from these companies are usually fairly well made.......CRKT, Kershaw, and Spyderco have many of their designs produced under contract by Sanrenmu and Enlan.
