Great guide. I hope you can make a guide on all the paths and what skills to pick for that path and best position for that path To use. A lot of new players struggle on that
My way to building teams have become Two Carry (the main damage dealers) either as control or self sustaining, followed by a support who will mainly be buffing/healing or controlling the battlefield and then the Tank / Self Sustaining Front Line who either guard or taunts. And while playing I do my best to fix relationship between the two Damage Carries first, then fix relationship with the support/tank with the carries and leave for last the support with the tank. In that order.
I tried the game for the first time last night and there are so many things to manage. I accidentally took a "crusade" item into my first run that made it more difficult and ended up with my heroes dying, but i managed to reach the inn and end the run because i wouldnt be able to complete it

This would have been a great description for beginners
The problem with losing a hero for me is I just catastrophically fail the battle im in and die on the spot, or I get cooked before I hit the next inn.
Yeah a death is definitely a difficult thing even on the best of days lol

I lost my crusader to the templar boss on my run. I shoe horned in a maa and somehow beat the mountain boss lol. Opened my eye to the possibility

There's also an achievement for getting MAA, HW and Duellist to riposte in one battle 😊

Banneret to give block? Plague doctor with storeroom key to give block on ounce?

vestal's Fortitude and Bulwark to generate block and block+, spam hold the line and we are good to go

My vestal one run got breacher and she was rank 4 and it was the worst shit ever lol
just dont use vestal for heal (use other healer) or use that vestal for tank/dps/support in that run.
