Seriously. Actual recipes as opposed to just replacing full fat with fat free and sugar for artificial sweetener. Don't get me wrong--those are great ways to save calories but some channels saying use low calorie buns, lean meat and fat free cheese is just common sense and doesn't require a full 'recipe' video. Props to Nick.

Or the amount of recipes that are redecorated versions of the same ingredients, flour, protein powder, Greek yogurt, egg whites and sweetener. This video is misleading. Half of caleroies doens't mean it's low calories. One slice is 365 calories * 8 slices (11:19min) = almost 3000 calories for one pizza. One normal meal is about 600-800 calories. People will eat this is think they are doing great not to gain weight but it's quite the opposite and at the end of day it's also unheatlhy food.

@@takeyourtime3328 You’re the misleading one here bud. No one’s eating the entire pizza in one sitting. At most they’ll have 2 slices since it’s really filling. That’s only 730 calories which is still less than that 1 slice from the restaurant and within that range of 600-800 calories per meal which you mentioned. This may not be healthy per se but it’s healthier than eating out with the same satisfaction factor, so it will indeed aid those looking to lose weight as long as they work out consistently.

I have been trying to find a good Chicago style pizza in Oklahoma as I've loved it ever since going to Chicago as a kid. I've tried every place that has ever advertised deep dish pizza of any sort in this state and this completely blows them all out of the water and is almost as good as my overinflated childhood memories of Chicago. The fact that I can eat this without having to drive to Chicago and feel okay about not completely blowing up my diet is amazing. High protein healthy pizza should be a nationwide chain, maybe the cheat meal cafe or something just full of protein bread, pizza, and ninja creami ice creams. Made this with my son and had a blast AND he liked it better than the pizza we got in Chicago when we went back this summer! Thanks for all your work into this channel and your recipes! I managed to lose a total of 8kg over this time and also found out some stuff
Things to note that may affect your results:
-I sometimes use lean seasoned beef instead of sausage for an alternative flavour
-if I do not oil the side of my cast iron I can get the dough to stick to the sides (the fat in the dough seemed to have melted and allowed for the dough to separate from the pan)
-I work out and go bouldering very often, your lifestyle may cause your results to vary

i would let the dough rest for a longer time. at least 24h in the fridge and than 4 hours at room temp afterwards. and than i would stretch the dough instead of rolling it

Kinda interesting note, but mozzarella cheese is actually pretty low in lactose content. 16 oz/1 lbs of mozz cheese per this ENTIRE recipe has roughly the same lactose content as 1 cup of milk or ice cream.
Saying this as a someone who is f-tier in lactose tolerance.

I'm veganizing this recipe right now with Miyoko's butter, Good Planet mozzarella, and Be-Hive Pepperoni. The macros I calculated per slice are about 403 calories, 14g protein, 44g carbs, 16g fat. I might splurge on Miyoko's mozzarella next time.

@@joshmargulis3750 I can agree with you for the most part...like 99% of based on veganism is what you're saying. But unfortunately it's part of my diet right now not because of anything like that .... At all (love to hunt and fish), but for me is my organs are failing and it's the only thing that doesn't make me feel like I'm dying....and scant amounts at that. I love meat and will hopefully always eat it, but a vegan diet has its place. Do I think it's healthy? Not for healthy people, no I do not. But for sick people, yes, I see the value in a temporary vegan diet
