Here are my thoughts on season 2:
Man, this really was perfect. There are so many good things to say about season 2. First off, I love that they gave Shadow a major role in this series. I also love how they wrote him; he doesn't feel like "Edgy The Hedgy" anymore. Second, the story actually moved very far forward with this season. While season 1 was good at setting up the basis of the story, season 2 did an amazing job of moving it forward. In addition to that, the amount of action we got was totally insane. The whole time I was watching,, I was on the edge of my seat. I also loved all of the little plot twists and turns that we got. Especially that ending... Oh my goodnes... Third, that animation is absolutely stunning. Every character's movements and facial expressions are so expressive. The animated fight scenes are so well done too. Finally, the writing for all of the characters is so good. There is not a single character that has been written poorly. Especially Nine. I think Nine is probably the best written character in this whole show.
Overall, this is a huge step-up from season 1. I love the direction that they went with this, and I love where this is headed. Hopefully season 3 lives up to this!
Overall, this is a solid 10/10. This was flawless.
I agree. Shadow was written so well and like you said, he wasn't written to be completely edgy the entire time and even though that's what he's known for, I liked him more when he wasn't ALWAYS edgy. The fight scenes and animation were genuinely the best I've seen in a while. IDK why but the way that Sonic Prime has been animated and how the characters look is so visually appealing to me. If the actual designs of Sonic characters from now on looked like how they did in Sonic Prime I would not complain. I'm hoping Season 3 will live up to it and I think it will, I'm very hyped to see where it goes from here
How is he NOT edgy?
Its so good seeing shadow act like shadow again. Also i love his va i really wish he would voice him in the games. Hes like the best shadow va their has ever been.
the shadow va is SUPER good, honestly it's so cool to see him act as shadow again and not just like a super edgy hedgehog, I love where this show's taking all the characters
I loved season 2 and a thing I'd like to point out is that in Nine's last shot, the main colors are green and purple, associated respectively life and also evil, toxic, d3ath AND wealthiness, superiority and that shows the amount of care that went into making this show
I didn't even notice that, that is some insane dedication oh my god, it's also sick
I wish they figured out a way for Shadow to be useful and when he actually fights in the final episode it also felt cut short.
I wish they did too, I liked that he was in it but he just felt like he was there, I hope S3 gives him more importance in the plot
in the last episode, when sonic was transforming into whatever that form is called, one shot made me think about the unleashed cutscene when sonic became a wearhog
it reminded me of the scene from the Sonic Movie where he powers up too, there's so many pieces of sonic media where that kinda shot happens lol

When nine stole the shards I had an emotional breakdown
I genuinely couldn't believe it, it was insane to think it was actually happening
Tell me about it that was bad I never seen sonic so hurt in my life that is not a nice feeling to have
I just watched the show, and I gotta say... Its beyond good, its outstanding. The fights, animations was so good. We get to see more of the characters in season 2 then what we did in season 1. At least we got to de the 2 shards that weren't in season 1, the grim and the ghost hill ones. After I watched nine betrayed sonic and took all the shards for himself, I came up with a theory for myself for season 3. When nine took all the shards since he didn't what sonic to rebuild build paradox prism again, I have a feeling nine went back to his lab back in the grim or new yoke, and inserted all the 5 shards back into the lab, sonic will try enter the grim, and track down the shards from nine a lab in the grim. The chaos council has the shards energy signature on their ship, so they still have the shards energy. But heres what I really enjoyed during season 2.
Prismatic sonic: Prismatic sonic was so good, its been a long time since we've seen sonic series In another form, last we saw one was 2007 in sonic x. I'm glad we got to see sonic in another form, and still able to keep up with the prisms energy.
Shadow: During last season, we only got to see shadow 3/4 times. At least this season, we got to see shadow have more screen time throughout the episodes, and he has more lines.
Other varients meet eachother: At least we got to see rusty and black got to met eachother, nine and sails, dread and knucks. I liked reaction when they came across with eachother, and I hope they all will crossover into a shatterverse to help to stop the battle against the chaos council.
Season 2 was the best season ever, and it definitely worthed 7 months, even if we have to wait another 6 or 7 months for season 3, im up for the wait. Its all worth it at the end.
I like your idea, I think it'll go something like that too. Prismatic Sonic was SUCH A COOL DESIGN, he looked so good and I'm hoping that we'll see more of him somehow. Shadow was great, I just wish he had more importance to the plot even though he does have quite a bit, he definitely could've had more. the other variants meeting eachother was something I was hoping to see so badly and I'm really happy it happened, the reactions were always amazing and a team up to defeat the chaos council would be SICK. Season 2 was genuinely so good and even though the wait will hurt, I agree with the fact that it'll be so worth it in the end
@MasonParkinson Innit, I hope to see more of big since he didn't really talk as much except the boscage. I want to see big and froggy more since we haven't really explored bigs appearance as much. He doesn't really talk, so hopefully in season 3, he'll talk more. Except for that, season 2 was so good. We may have to wait another 6/7 months, but its all worth it at the end.
@MasonParkinson I got another theory, I know I've been coming up with so much theory's for season 3, but il tell you. I think the grim is incomplete, since nine said "this will be useful for finishing the grim". I think the grim is an ghost shatterspace, same with ghost hill. Nine took all the shards at the end of season 2 and probably went back to his lab back in the grim to put all the shards back into a prism. This could be possible, do u think the grim has an empty prism blueprint, that to combine all the shards to form it back to life, who knows? We'll see in season 3.
one of the things I hope happens in season 3 is that sonic realizes that if he reconstructs the prism all the people from all the other dimensions might die. maybe even have shadow admit that he believes that would happen from the start and thats why he's been so cold- he knows that to restore their world they have to sacrifice the other 3 and doesn't want sonic to get to attached.
Shadow whooping on sonic was a pure delight 😂😂😂
i like it more when they're working together, but their fight scenes are sick I can't lie

Is that Sonic actually this time will be more logical and think about other people's feelings instead of just thinking about himself
Like nine who really wants a world he wishes for other than his painful life
Or Rabel and Knuckles who want peace in their World
The thorn that wants the crystal to return its land
And Rouge, Manji and Knuckles who want a normal life
Or even Captain Knuckles who wants the crystal to bring back his lost history
And sails, Amy and Rouge who want fun without problems
And it could end up being the other worlds really
Because if we notice Sonic has a different style every time he goes in every World
And when nine gave him the power of crystals, Sonic was like talking to his copy
Does this mean that when Sonic recreates his world
Other worlds will exist with Sonic originals for each world
And so nine lives with the other Sonic
I don't know, I just have a crazy theory😂
no problem! that would be really cool to see, I think after nine basically told him that the entire time he should've been thinking of others instead of himself will probably give him a HUGE reality check and make him understand and see things differently. I'm super hyped to see where S3 will go

I know there will be a Season 3 so I say 10/10 for me cause Shadow and Sonic have to stop nine before he messes their Reality and Chaos council and Dread that a lot of villains to deal at the same time that is a big tougher Challenge than this but I know they can do it
Season three will be the big finale
This'll be a incredible finale of sonic prime!
I am excited to see how the show ends but also sad because that means it'll be over :(

I thought season one had a couple flaws but overall it was a very promising sonic show
Season two is every single flaw taken out and just bang on Perfect
Season 2 was genuinely amazing and I thought Season 1 was perfect.
@@MasonParkinson I guess to me in Season 1 sonic felt clueless not necessarily like dumb. Just a little clueless like I felt like the audience knew everything already and we just watched sonic as he played catch-up.
I was literally smiling when shadow and nine meet along with knuckles and rusty and black rose
i was smiling every time a variant saw eachother, it was so cool to see their reactions to one another

I can’t believe that Nine took all the shards back to the grim now he’s has all five. Every time I look at him it just reminds me that tails is gone and he’s not the fox I thought he was.

I have a theory of Tails might grab the other 2 tails variants and team up with them against Sonic Because he said the only person he trusts is himself so I’m thinking imagine he grabs the rest of the tails variants and they team up as they are him and damn would that be quite insane to see

Just finished the season and it is safe to say that they did my boy dread dirty
they did dread SO dirty, he went from one of the greatest characters in Season 1 to one of the most annoying ones in Season 2
It’s kinda fits tho. Like I do think that S1 was still Dread but like he knew that he couldn’t control himself around the shard which is why he gave up on pirating so he didn’t drive his new crew away like he did his old one. Plus you see hints of this cropping up once he’s near the shard so I saw this coming. I do think that something will make him realize that he’s repeating the same mistakes again tho, like being reminded of his old crew or even thinking that his obsession caused something horrible to happen to his new crew, and then he snaps out of it again and tries to make up for his mistakes, like what happened with Thorn.
Plus, 1. I see this as a good mirror for Sonic’s development, as it’s like how he had a habit of ignoring his friends concerns about stuff and bullrushes ahead for something
like with the shard or the cliff fight with Eggman, and 2. Knuckles (or a version of him punching his friends in the face over a jewel isn’t anything new

In the ending scene of the last episode of sonic prime where sonic gets a new super form that i like to Prism sonic
I think the show is awesome and I really love it. so many people hate the show and think it’s garbage or bad. I think it’s a pretty good show. I think the main reason why many people don’t like it is because it didn’t live to the expectations and somethings do fall flat but I still have good time with it.
To be fair, I actually don’t think any of the other variations knew what Sonic was gonna do with the Shards, they just knew that bad people who were trying to destroy their homes wanted them and Sonic was trying to stop them, so they wanted to help him. They weren’t really concerned with what Sonic’s goals were. In fact I believe that they assumed Sonic would come back to help them after he got the shards. You can see in different episodes that he would say he’d come back to help, like in the Boscage world where he promised Thorn he would come back to help fix the forest, or in New Yoke where he wanted to help the resistance fix their world after dealing with the council. None of them even knew much about the shatter space, Nine is the only one who figured it all out. Also Sonic never mentioned Ghost Hill or the shard blueprint to anybody else except for Nine. So I doubt any of the variants knew Sonic’s plan except for Nine. Which is why I believe that in Season 3, something is going to occur where it will be revealed to the rest of the variants about what would happen if the prism is restored. Like perhaps Nine would be the one to tell everybody and convince them that if they help Sonic restore the prism then they’ll get wiped from existence. And this could result in some major confrontation between Sonic and all the variants who have sided against Sonic now because they don’t want their world or themselves to get erased.
That’s just my theory though.
i'd like the idea of all the variants figuring it out too, i mean ik they never got mad since they didn't know what it did but nine was some sorta example on what would happen if they did find out

I honestly see this scenario the most plausible, after all the damage the council did on each of the worlds I’m sure they would all want to try and fix/restore it, like how Thorn wants to restore the jungle and Rebel and Knux wanting to bring back their old home before it was New Yoke, Nine can come in and convince everyone that if they join him in the grim they can have the perfect world they want since he has the power to make whatever he wants into reality with the prism. Adding in the fact that if Sonic got the shards then it would all be gone. So it would be good motivation for everyone to want to stop Sonic, along with being a good reason to bring all the variants together in one major brawl.
Oh yeah that be bad I think Shadow and sonic can take on a whole Shatter verse
I’m confused … how would they be wipe from existence? This is the multiverse right? each variant already had a life/backstory before meeting sonic … if anything nine would just be stuck in a unfurling world again
@@iamsh0t0no man is not that simple when sonic broke the paradox prism he shattered his world into 5 different dimensions and he also shattered tails kunckles amy rouge big and eggman into various versions of themselves which mean that the shatterverse/prismaverse/fragverse is sonic's world fragmented into 5 different dimensions the shatterspaces are the shards/pieces/parts of the original green hill and the shattered characters are the shards/pieces/parts of the originals's spirits and personalities when the originals's bodies got trapped in the black area, the shatterverse/prismaverse/fragverse and the multiverse are two different things the shatterverse/prismaverse/fragverse is just a universe fragmented into 5 parts and is artificial It doesn't exist is a erro created when sonic broke the paradox prism and the multiverse is something natural since is contains multiple universes and for you that don't know soul and spirit are not totally the same thing Because there is a difference the difference is that our soul is our thought not ourselves but our spirit is ourselves and our conscience is our senses not ourselves also all living beings have body mind and spirit, all living beings like the humans animals and insects are spirits in evolution that live in bodies and have a mind that creates memories thoughts or souls feelings personality and emotions

It was amazing sega is really cooking for this show shadow was portray perfect the fight scenes mind blowing dread,Chaos sonic,And the chaos counselor where my favorite part and they gave sonic a new form (if Only hyper sonic was in sonic frontiers) i thought silver the hedgehog will be in end of second season 2 (Voiced by Vincent tong) Or blaze the cat (Voiced by Britt mckillip) And maybe a flashback reference sonic rush,And sonic rivals (since sonic 06 isn’t canon)
shadow was portrayed so well, I also loved the fight scenes, metal sonic's name was sick and the council was amazing too, if Silver the Hedgehog showed up I would genuinely lose my mind

Me Too Sonic Prime Season 1 & 2 was Perfect Too.
Sonic messes everything up. If Shadow could go through the gateways, which he can't, he would be a better option even if the council would be better. Taking over the multiversus, then sonic doing anything also I'm still with nine but I like him as a villan and hopefully he does something with the shards
he does mess stuff up sometimes but then again, that's normal. I would also have liked to see shadow going to atleast one of the universes, IDK how it would've worked but it would've been cool to see him go to like No Place or something. If sonic didn't mess things up, there wouldn't be a show for us to watch lol
@MasonParkinson is true, but some of the stuff he could have prevented would have made it better, like not thinking about his world, so nine would not betray atleast something to make it better but I respect your opinion and your right

Why wouldn't you have thought of that ending. That's what Nine wanted to do since season 1. He even got caught by the Chaos Council on purpose to make it easier for him. Then he was clearly using Sonic so the Council would keep Nine around. Nine stealing the shards was foreshadowing in several episodes.

This show was a 5/10 for me.

@@MasonParkinson It was good, but it didn't really "wow" me. It felt like they were making stuff up the whole way through.
Shadow can't enter shatter spaces except one for some reason. He tries to steal sonic's tech but it doesn't work so he spends the season in the void doing nothing.
Dread wants the shard so he betrays Sonic, who is already getting him the shard. Then he's in New Yoke and does nothing except fight Knuckles, which doesn't even bother Sonic.
Now the shards can just make robots for no reason, which are useless until chaos sonic. And how is chaos sonic made? Well, Nines just says "you don't think like Sonic" and eggman presses one button and that somehow makes Nines super responsible and super guilty about it. And chaos Sonic is killed after one episode. With no lasting effects.
Shadow doesn't trust Nines with the shards but leaves him alone with them anyway. The prism shards can now make a titan eggman and super sonic, who only attacks once and it's over.
And every single fight is won by just spin dashing everything. EVERYTHING.
These are just some issues I had. And I can only describe this season as pure chaos with little to no logic I could follow. Almost nothing made sense. Not the shard's abilities. Not the character's actions.
The only thing that did make sense was Nine's betrayal and that was obvious since season one. So the cliffhanger wasn't even a surprise.
Well it's not perfect but it's near perfect I say this because in the first Shadow literally drop a Chaos emerald I the void do they better get it back in season three or else I won't be Cannon.
I hope somehow they get the chaos emerald back because then Super Sonic could be a possibility and that would be insane to see
