I've watched most of the review videos on this pedal and nobody is showing the looping function. I know you're most likely better off with a dedicated looper pedal, but seeing as how it's a part of this pedal, I'm curious how well it works and would've liked to see it.
its a very basic looper. like the ditto press to start, press again to stop(loop playing, press again to start another loop, again to finish. 2 second hold to stop all loops
Is that a thin line Stratocaster? The finish is incredible! It is absolutely a beautiful guitar! This is the video that made me go out and get a Flashback 2 btw. Thanks for the great demo.
Just a heads up for people thinking about buying this pedal. As an owner of the original Flashback, I recently bought the Flashback 2 so that I could make use of the external tap tempo jack. However, I was disappointed to hear that the FB2 did NOT sound as good as the FB1, to the extent that I unfortunately had to return the FB2 for a refund. The FB2 is a tad more open sounding, but the repeats are thinner and just weak sounding compared to the FB1. Also, the FB1 creates a subtle and pleasant pad-like sound when the repeats are turned up high, whereas on the FB2 the repeats just 'thin out' without creating any kind of ambient oscillation. NOTE that I set both pedals up exactly the same within the toneprint editor, and even had confirmation from TC Electronic that the circuit was tweaked for the FB2. I was really gutted about this because I was desperate to have an external tap!
Can you store any presets or toneprints with this pedal ? I have the Mini, which is great for storing one setting, and having access to tone prints, but for live use I like to have a couple of presets, or at least 2- 3 easily accessible delays. Is that possible with the Flashback 2 ?
Hello all_ i get recently a FB2 but it's on kill dry mode ON anytime (doesn't play the first hit) even if I change the settings! Do you think it's a fabrication problem? Thank you
TC specifically advertises on their site that it has the "Audio Tapping" feature - previously available on the other flashback pedals, but no info on how to use!
All Expresion pedals on digital pedals seem a bit strange. Older analog effects that use them all had "sweet spots" you just couldn't dial in. but between the precision of digital controls and dynamic tap tempos out now i just dont see the point.with tc at least you can easily set the paramiters. Id still use the tone print to switch to tap tempo though.
@@michivanhalen7086 yes but you have to set it up for that in The tone print app. This serues of pedals is awesome btw. Tone print opens up crazy posibilities. I got a shaker vibrato and it can be so much more than it apears to be.most of the presets are slight variations on the same 3 things but starting from default I made my own tone print that. Gave me the vibrato i bought it for, completely replaced my chorus pedal and i got a great univibe sound as well. Took a few hours of fiddling with everything but it sounds awesome. I bought the flash back 2 hours after i got the shaker. I want to get there pre/amp di but i want to play with it first.
Why do you not do some riffs? The average person wants to hear this put into a song.Chords notes etc. The mash feature is not a selling point for 90% of potential buyers. Lousy demo.
Christ! What a stunning strat!
This pedal with the Hall of fame seems to be a great combination
Would have liked to seen the loop setting demonstrated
It’s cool that they added a looping function, it would just be a lot cooler if you could actually use the delay and the looper at the same time
You're right! ....obviously they want you to buy an extra pedal!😏
Wish every pedal demo was like the ones you do .
Thanks Johanna! Glad you like our format.

Clicked to check out the delay pedal.. but now I need that guitar too
Very tasteful intro my goodness
That guitar is beautiful!!😍
That's a beautiful guitar...
Great demo !
Can this pedal do the ping pong effect that the original Flashback does??? Maybe in a tone print???
Is that a thin line Stratocaster?

Does anyone here know how to create a "hold" or a "freeze" effect like EHX freeze, Tera Echo or Bigsky?

How does using mash improve the sound???
great
What tone print are you using to get that Freeze effect?

You can store three tone prints on this pedal. It's the 1, 2, and 3 selections on the pedal.
I know this is an old video but hopefully you can answer this. Can you access the subdivisions simultaneously with the mash?
The mash is cool but can i add a volume pedal to work the mash feature instead of stepping on the on/off switch?
NOPE
Hi! has this pedal the function "Spillover" like novadelay pedal?
Delay is a bit too dark should get a line 6 m9 that you can put more treble
how come
big sky too
expensive?

Thank you
there's a switch inside the pedal that should change the mode.
Flashback 2 has audio tapping included like old Flashback ???
yes, it has audio tapping. Independent of the external tap tempo
Who is right?
It is exactly as Gavin said if you'd like to engage tap tempo.

DEATH GRIPS!
What model of Strat is that?
NOS Artisan Thinline Koa
Limited Edition Koa Thinline....
seriously I´ve not heard anyone using that mash thing in a musical way...
