A live would be so fun to experiment with! Especially since you always have a lot to say. Livestreams work best when you have a game plan in advance. I do them over on @FantasticTilly if I’m opening a package or something that keeps me busy with my hands. If not, you’re basically just watching the live comments pour in and talking to the camera. You’re already so accustomed to recording unscripted with your Tea Times, it would probably work out well! Keep in mind that it’s live, so anything can happen.
Definitely give us a heads up in advance! You can do them right here on UA-cam too and actually schedule a time for them to start unlike Instagram if that’s a more comfortable platform for you. 😊
I agree ! I'd certainly love to see Meg do a live feed & take live questions. I just hope I'd be available & able to watch live at the specific time.

Hello, Miss Tilly. I’ve always been a fan of yours (enough to revisit my desire to consider a life in the nunnery after watching you in Agnes of God), and I’ve often wondered what you’re like off screen. Thank goodness for technology, UA-cam, and your generosity to share your Tea time with the world. I love Jasmine Oolong myself because the smell is soothing even before I taste it.
Thank you for always sharing your positivity. I especially loved the video when you explained why you gave up your career to care for your children. I gave up a promising career as well, and looking back on that decision, I feel it was the best for my family, especially for my kids, some of who are special needs. In relation to Agnes of God and when you said you gave that role your all, taking care of my family feels that way for me too; that I believe and strongly feel that I need to give it my all: taking care of my husband and my children. Often times, I still feel that I am not enough, or not doing enough despite all the sacrifices and hard work.
Although it comes as a part of who you are and your personality, I hope you would share your advice/views on how to keep calm and being always positive. Despite you admitting that you didn’t have much of a religious upbringing, you truly have a gentle soul of an Agnes of God.

Unfortunately for me, I am wrought with self doubts because I’ve grown up with constant criticisms, and of being told that what I do and what I am is not enough. Thus, it wouldn’t be a stretch if I’ve carried that feeling all throughout my adult life.
It’s no use trying to change what cannot be changed, which is the past. But one can try to change one’s attitude towards negative feelings and thoughts. Patiently, I await your advice and tips on mindful positivity.

In fact, it was a little reassuring to see your TeaTime alert pop up on my phone just as I was getting off work! And you read my whole, big, blabby comment! Thanks for that! 🤗 For anyone curious, the guy on the other end of the link is Gary Oldman. I think you actually mentioned it on an "Author Chat", (maybe with Jayne or Susan? I can't quite remember, exactly ...🤔). All you said, though, was that you worked with an English guy, whose name you couldn't think of, right then, and that he appeared to be pretty talented...So nothing to worry about, there...LOL! Great story about Agnes, too! I hope we ALL have a better week, coming up. Who WOULDN'T be stressed? I'll be trying to make positive vibes... Enjoyed this episode so very much, dear Meg. Yes, it's such a sad & stressful time for so many. I love how you're trying very hard to stay positive & focus on replying to questions & sharing so many fascinating memories with us. I would certainly LOVE to see you do a live stream ! Naturally we'd need advance notice in order to be ready & know when to tune in. I regularly watch live broadcasts of the online series "Hollywood Kitchen". Of course, that happens over at Facebook. But I have seen live streams here at UA-cam on a couple of channels. In fact, I'd love to see you as a guest on "Hollywood Kitchen". The host (Karie Bible) interviews celebrities at home & during the feed they're both working in their respective homes on a dish that's a favorite of the celebrity (also discussing their career during the preparing of the dish). They do those live shows on Sunday afternoons (West Coast time). And then later Karie posts the episode at the Hollywood Kitchen channel for those who can't watch live. You were NOT boring at all in today's episode, Meg. I was especially intrigued in what you had to say about appearing in "Agnes of God". Such a powerful performance ! The story of how powerful your mom sang in church was so funny. Also, love your top and your colorful cup ! I join the others here who comment on how your Tea Time videos are like a ray of sunshine in this often cloudy & dark world. THANK YOU for sharing with us, dear & wonderful Meg. Murchies! Do you still live in Victoria!? I had no Idea that you were so local. I watched Agnes of God when I was probably too young to. I think it really catalyzed my capricornian nature, meaning a kind of visceral relationship to God. Im not religious, but from an early age felt this intense feeling about God. I though you were so beautiful. I havent really followed you since but just had the inspiration to. Weird that you are from/ in Victoria, as I was born there and spent many years there and am still on VI. Cute to see you doing this kind of thing. Cheers!

Oh, I didn't realize Masquerade was written by Dick Wolf of Law and Order fame. I remember Agnes of God very well and I thought your performance was truly outstanding which is no easy feat considering the caliber of actors you were with. I would have loved to have seen your take on Martha in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf. I saw a glimpse of it on UA-cam and you were great in that tiny snippet. Wonder if there is a recording of it in the theatre archive. - Paul

when you plan on doing a live.. schedule a time .those that subscribe that will show up when you look at subscribed content...and also when you are live that will show up as well ...better to give a heads up so people can plan to be watching when you are live..but moderators are a good idea ,,because of trolls joining the live stream... trolls can be rude or unkind ..your hubby can be a moderator ...
Well said and well put. You bring up some very important points. Totally agree in regards to having a moderator (yes, Meg's husband Don would be an ideal choice).

Meg...just watched this beautiful film and can't believe I never knew about it - (having been born in 1980; some films are more known about than others and this one "fell through the cracks"!)
I'm a lifelong fan...mainly because I too am half Asian but this part of my identity was denied/withheld so as a young artist; I was always seeking out and drawn to others with the same/similar background.
I do have a question (not sure if you know the answer).....
Do you know what specific chants or hymns that were sung by your character(??)
I especially love that first scene where we are introduced to Agnes.

My partner and I have started the application to move to Canada. I work as a nurse and there seems to be lots of wonderful opportunities.
We rather fancy Nova Scotia. Have you been? Do you recommend some nice areas on Canada to visit or to live?x
Hi William! I'm always so happy to see you pop up, to know you've been managing to navigate these really challenging times. Canada would be lucky to have you! There is such a shortage, not just here but around the world. I have never been to Nova Scotia, however, I've visited it in my imagination. Someday I'll get there in person. It's supposed to be quite beautiful. Personally, I love living here, but it's not for everyone. There are wonderful people here and there are also the... well, you know, like every place, it is a mix. Check the weather as it varies widely even within various provinces. Heads up, we pay higher taxes here in Canada, and each province is different. The portions in restaurants are smaller and more expensive than in the States. Another thing to check out is how well whichever provinces you are considering did during the pandemic, which ones were supportive of the healthcare workers and which ones had a different approach. Also, check out cost of living, and the salaries for nurses and each province has a different pay structure and base salary.
