Joshua Winslow "Josh" Groban (born February 27, 1981) is an American singer, songwriter, musician, actor, and record producer. His first four solo albums have been certified multi-platinum, and in 2007, he was charted as the number-one best selling artist in the United States with over 21 million records in the nation. Groban originally studied acting, but moved to singing as his voice developed. Groban attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, a free public school on the campus of California State University, Los Angeles, where students receive a conservatory-style education. His life changed when his vocal coach, Seth Riggs, submitted a tape of Josh singing, "All I Ask of You," from The Phantom of the Opera, to Riggs' friend, producer, composer and arranger David Foster. Foster called him to stand in for an ailing Andrea Bocelli to rehearse a duet, "The Prayer," with Celine Dion at the rehearsal for the Grammy Awards in 1998 Rosie O'Donnell immediately invited him to appear on her talk show. Foster asked him to sing at the California Governor's Gray Davis' 1999 inauguration. He was cast on Ally McBeal by the show's creator, David E. Kelley, performing "You're Still You" for the 2001 season finale.

Every time I hear this song I think of my mom. I was so blessed to have her in my life. She lived a long and happy life not filled with material things but love for her family. I've lost My Brother in Christ, he is a doctor. when he was on duty, the virus (Covid) attacked him. he is a good doctor, always caring for many people, and of course what he does because he loves God. I think this is unfair why he should be taken so quickly, but of course it is not a good reason if I look for other people's mistakes. that I know he has fought his illness and finally he won, of course with God. and he died carrying that belief, and I live for that too.

I am sorry about your brother. It does hurt and is very unfair. I know because my father died from the coronavirus three weeks ago. I never had a chance to say goodbye because the hospital wouldn't allow visitors. He didn't even have a funeral because of that virus. You have my deepest sympathy and condolences.

Thank you for this beautiful song, its so apt to my situation. Today is 5 years since my husband spoke his last words to me. He knew he was at the end of life, as I helped him up, his frail frame that once was so healthy was eaten away by the cancer, I could only feel his bones. I helped him up and he drew me close to him with all the strength left in his body and said his last words. "YOU ARE MINE" this song means a lot to me. WE were married for 42 years in 2013. Walter had a beautiful voice and I am sure he would have loved to sing this song. He lost his voice that same evening, and was in a comma, passed away peacefully with his whole family around him the next day. I have tried singing this song, but I break down and can't take the very high notes. Love it and listen to it all the time.
It's so difficult to watch our loved ones lose their health and become so ill!! I had a similar experience with my husband being just bones after his 6-month illness...he went through so much suffering, that I would not want him back as he was..but a new body or a healthy form of himself, YES!!
