My wife and I were together for over 50 years (4 years dating, 46 years married). She made her journey to Heaven on September 18th. During her last day I placed our Alexa on her hospice bed next to her pillow and had it play Josh Groban songs. To Where You Are was one of her favorites, but she loved Josh's voice and his music. I used "To Where You Are" as the song for a music video at her funeral mass. Not a dry eye in the house. I miss her so much. I talked to her every day and believe that she is happy and healthy in Heaven and I will join her some day. She was my wife, my best friend and the best decision I ever made was asking her to marry me.

My wife adored Josh and listened to every word he sang. She died in April of 22 from a sudden heart attack. I grieved her loss until I had a stroke in December. Now I wish she was here to give me hope and her love. I had a painting hung yesterday of when she was 6 years old. I don’t ever want to forget the smile that won my heart. Thank you Josh.

She was set in her ways an she was stricked.. She was 98 when she passed away... I'm thankful for her toughness.. It taught me to be a better mother.. When my son was 4 he knew please.. Thank you.. Your welcome.. (so on) he opened/s pp doors for ppl and he help anyone out if he sees them struggling.. I use to get your son is such a good boy blah blah blah.. It actually made me sad because we don't see that anymore.. Young kids helping out the elderly.. I'm just proud that my son does... Yes he wears his pants down to his ankles lol.. I loss my wife of 50 years and had been together 52 years. Cancer took her away from and I feel so lost without her. She was my best friend, mother of our two children, meme to our six grandchildren. The best thing that ever happen to me was when she said yes to marrying me. There’s not a day goes by that I don’t hung her urn and tell her how much I love and miss her.

I have loved Josh Groban's songs for a very long time and now this one song has so much more meaning then ever before. I had to drive from my home to Alabama early this week to take care of business in my husbands home town and I have all of Josh Groban's albums on my phone to play in my car. My husband had just turned 65, we had been together for 35 years, he died from Glioblastoma on January 22, 2023, my trip to Alabama was February 27th. This song started to play and I completely lost it behind the wheel and had to pull off of the interstate. The words had the impact of a building falling on me and I sobbed like a child for a couple of hours, I was late for my meeting, WHO CARES. To Where You Are will forever be a song that will reduce me to tears but the words are how I feel and where my heart takes me. I'm so lost without my best friend, my love, my life, my everything. I love this song more every time I hear it.

On the contrary, this does not sound crazy. Our pets are very close to our hearts - they tend to leave paw prints on our soul. I had a most splendid cat who followed my everywhere - we had a real connection on some level (human/animal, I don't know which). When Charlie died on Christmas morning, I was blinded by tears of inconsolation - I played the lead melody from CATS over and over until I was almost numb. So, bawling your eyes out is a most definitely proper response to such a melancholic situation. Bless you, my dear ...

I can relate to that real connection thing, because I never felt my dog is a dog - I always felt she was talking to me through her eyes. God bless their souls, and I can see Charlie and Foofoo playing up there in heaven. I keep listening to this song for comfort because it reminds me of how much joy, and love she gave me. I could not have kids, my IVF had failed when we brought FooFoo home and she changed our lives for the better. I had 2 beautiful kids completely naturally after her, and I know she was my miracle. Life is barren without her but I look forward to the day uniting with her and that brings me peace.

I just lost my little granddaughter, Macie Hill, age 8 years old.
She was the little cheerleader struck and killed by a parade float on July 4, 2022.
We laid her to rest three days ago on July 10th. Donny Osmond was invited to sing this song during the services. It was perfect in so many ways. I'm not sure if there was (hardly) a dry eye listening.
