Relive all the action from The Rolex 24 At Daytona, the first race of the 2021 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship season and Round 1 of the IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup.
@@imsaofficial thanks for the clarification! I am someone who aspires to join an IMSA racing event someday. I am guessing that the GTD Pro will pretty much be similar but with some regulation changes?
About the announcer's comments regarding GTE, I think it's definitely necessary. People buy road cars so that they have something to drive, and people buy `sport` type cars to get a more sporty experience out of it, so when they see those types of road cars racing racing each other alongside exotic prototype machinery, that can entice them into following the sport. I don't think it works as well in the Americas, but in Europe and Asia, yeah... they definitely need their GTE cars. My thought process as of late with the current trends is whether or not the motorsports world will welcome SUV racing, either as its own series or its own class alongside GT cars. If it comes to that, that could entice pretty much any motorsports fan to get into the world of racing using their own Ford Explorer, or Toyota RAV4, or Lamborghini Urus. I like the idea of it but I know the demand is pretty high for all-electric/hybrid vehicles, so who knows. Would love to hear your thoughts on it.
He's carrying a seat insert. They use that for smaller drivers because the seats are rigid, but they have to be form-fitted to each driver, so they shape the seat to their largest driver and give everyone else seat inserts.
I think the director is dumb ... he showed at least 10 times the same replay of the accident of car number 16. in the meantime the race with the important moments are not framed
Who woke up and this video was playing?

I've been getting more and more into US Endurance Races. Thank you IMSA for the great coverage and for posting!!!
lpmmmmmmmmmmmmnnntttt
Absolutely love watching these races! Very entertaining, exciting, and suspenseful.
I really appreciate you posting these. Too bad I had no way to watch live
the director will be in love with the driver of car number 16. He always frames him
That 79 flexing its cylinders showing how competitive it would have been if it wasn't eaten by a BMW at the start
GTLM racing i dont think should or would go anywhere, its the perfect class for gaining entry into these kinds of racing.
GTLM will be replaced by GTD PRO in 2022.

Ooooooo IMSA!💪💪💪
Damn that guy at the end is just steamrolling everyone.
I really want LeMans to keep the GTLM cars they are my favorite race cars I know they cost a lot but still
GTE*
@@DavidMadrigalMesa I know but they say GTLM in this did you know aston martin ended their factory GTE team
@@noahwelton124 yes its sad, i think they still are gonna run one car in the GTEam class, but in pro only Porsche and Ferrari
I'll stop watching if they eliminate the GTLM class. I watch for the manufacturer wars. Drivers? Not so much.
😊😊

#48 were doing well in the front during the night ,but then slowly fell apart later on
Yeah, it's almost like Jimmy Johnson isn't an adequate substitute for a racing driver.
41:08 Is Kobayashi wearing a cape?

Watching here December 2022 getting ready for 2023 Rolex !!!!! Super hyped thanks for the full uploads !
It's too bad NBC sports spoiled the enjoyment of watching it to the end with their highlights video. It tells you the winner in the title. 🧐
Imsa has the longest FCY

the director is incompetent, the images have always lost the important moments
