Also, go to the dollar store and get a cheap broom and dust pan. Sweep up the big stuff first. Construction debris and DIY dust/dirt will ruin the household vacuum cleaner. I like how you keep your moments of frustration in your videos. It keeps the projects realistic, and it makes you more relatable to the DIY community. Keep up the good work.
Silicon carbide is mostly for wet sanding and or metal. You might have better luck with the purple cubitron paper. It's a more open grained abrasive but it also has a tougher, semi rubberized backing so it should be a bit tougher. It is more pricey usually though. Supergrit is where I usually get my non-belt abrasives. Their stock rotates but they explain what each product is best at. Good video 👌
Sand paper: Don't use drywall sand paper on your power sander. Instead, buy the full size sheets of sand paper and cut them into four pieces. They will fit your power sander perfectly and last longer. Otherwise, keep up the good work. It's all part of the learning process.
Sorry to say but the chairs will need to be painted.. That's the only way you will get even coverage on all four chairs. The timber seems to be too resistant to stain. Good luck.

Thank you so much! You have no idea just how much this comment meant to me :)

I just bought some of the stuff you suggested! Can’t wait to try it!

I agree! I’m actually in the process of doing just that. I had to throw in the towel and give into the paint!
