I had to give in and fork up $24.99 for TSC just to get the base routes included. It was slightly worth it. I also bought London - Brighton, so now I can go batshit insane psychopathic mode with the tracks that have third rails attached to them, therefore I don't have to worry about American tracks looking weird without third rails. This is highly unrelated, but you see, I have a bad habit of laying more tracks than necessary for a simple custom route. I have a few routes with 10+ tracks in each one of them for mainline tracks. Railyards larger than they should be (minus European railyards as I rarely ever do those and don't even have any railyards since most of my routes are American freight and 100% Passengers with American and European passenger trains mixed in. Germany doesn't really use third rails, so I stick to American and UK trains 100% of the time. Besides that, TSC was worth it to an extent. The horns could have been way better. The AC4400CW horn irritates me the most out of all of them.
Haha I've lived in the Ventral Valley (Fresno/Bakersfield/etc..) and this route shows the most green I've ever seen in this area. The area at 14:57 has a good lool/feel to it for our area. All the green off in the distance is really odd though. The Central Valley is a hot desert. We don have grass everywhere. It definitely gets greener towards the Winter/Spring but it's still not like Southern California. Fwiw, so far, the most accurate representation of the Central Valley I've seen is Run 8.
at the 18 and half to 19ish minute mark the two sections of track on the side not connected are there in google maps... like they were taking out a crossover, so its accurate but looks weird, they could have just left it out.... but i would see getting the route when on sale for more than 10% off. great video sir

That passenger station is not the only one on the route but it is the only one still used as a passenger station. UP has one just to the west of Kern Junction and they also have one in Mojave which is currently a rail museum and has a rail cam mounted on it. There are also rail cams on the loop and between them.
