I explored a bit before I did stormveil, so I kept hearing about the two fingers. I thought it was some kind of metaphor. Like “the king’s hand” or something. Imagine my surprise when after I beat Godrick, I went back to the round table hold and found myself in front of two giant literal fingers. Sasuga, Fromsoft.
This was exactly my reaction on my first playthrough. Their description from the NPC's is purposefully vague, so I thought the two fingers were 2 leaders that held that title, when I saw they were literally two fingers I couldn't stop laughing, but also well played by the directors~
It took me 2 full runs and some other runs with total of 300+ hours playtime, to get the thing with "these are fingers because i play elden RING". Holy shit i felt like the most stupid person on this planet

@@manueltalavera7877 Anyone reading this guy's comment, he's cappin out his ass. I'm fuckin 80 hours in and am only on the 3rd major boss (I think there's about 12 main bosses and 120 bosses in all) because I keep running into random shit to do.
Tips for Scarlet Swamps: If you do have the Black Knife set ( given that you're at Haligtree already ) you can actually move like normal at swamps that would normally slow you down.
The Crystal Tear for Mohg was a nice surprise for me. I had no idea I ended up facing a major boss, and after two tries against him, I went for my tears and... I saw that red one. So I equipped it and tried again, actually expecting nothing to happen. I ended up beating him, amazed by the details of that potion (It's shown as a red sphere around you that cracks a little everytime Mohg says Nihil, until it breaks) . Everything was so random I just repeated to myself "This game is simply insane".
@@Bonesaw_McGraw I really like Elden Ring and have about 70 hours in it so far, but I agree with you. Personally, I will always like Skyrim and Witcher 3 more because those are just more my type of game, but Elden Ring is still an amazing game that deserves all of the success it's getting
You can also backstep through swamps. It's slower than quickstep, but WAY faster than walking. The thing for Mohg's curse doesn't completely negate it, but it does HEAVILY reduce the damage and prevent it from staggering you.
@@Nawticc He applies the curse 3 times before he does his phase transition at roughly 50% HP, then detonates the curse during his phase transition. He doesn't reapply it again. The physick effect last like 3 minutes, so as long as you make him do the phase switch within 3 minutes of using it, you're good to go. You can also just hold onto it and use it AS SOON as you see him start the transition, as long as you get it in before the first detonation goes off it'll work.
Get the Bloodhound claws from Volcano Manner. The Bloodhound Step as of war is really useful, basically makes it so the entire dodge animation is s. Good for those big aoe attacks that are hard to directionally dodge if you're not positioned right and for getting through lava/swamp terrain quickly. Doesn't cost much more fp than normal quickstep either.
For the Fringefolk Chariot, I tried to cover the way to get it relatively easily. Essentially when the chariot rams the wall you're standing on. You'll see the screen shake. As you see the screen shake, that's the visual cue to shoot an arrow to snap the wire holding the pot. I would recommend lining up the shot with a practice shot prior to attempting it so you don't mistime it or worse, waste a pot.
Regarding 3), there is also another crystal tear that you can use to neutralize mogh's curse. I forget where it's found exactly, but it basically negates all non-physical damage to you for a time and actually turns it into regained health instead. So when mogh does his power up, he still gets healed, but you can just beat him back down in the meantime with no repercussion :D Also very useful for spell-spamming bosses like Rennala or the Final Boss.
About the 50 hits wall, Zullie the Witch has an interesting in depth video about it. Basically, isn't meant to be a secret wall and is considered to have 9999 hp, not really needed to hit it 50 times. As to why it shouldn't be removed : it can potentially lure enemies in the sanctuary zone, meaning you'd have no way to fight back against them if this passage is open.
I thought regression alone reveals secrets meant to backtrack to find a secret and I jumped of a ledge near it to get the bolt of gransax which was a legendary weapon. That message was why I looked around and I saw it lol. Crazy it serves 2 purposes
The fact that there is supposedly illusory walls in this game that take multiple hits to break, it makes me wonder if there are perhaps walls like this on older games that nobody has discovered because nobody thought to hit them more than once. Perhaps in Dark Souls One there's a secret illusory wall that has the secrets to unlock the Pendants power.
I'm quite sure there's not. Like stated before, they would really have been found. I think it's not a "bug" either. I'm absolutely sure the illusory walls are Fromsoftware devs coming up with one more thing to fuck with people's heads. They're evil people doing evil things lol
I think the point of reversing the frenzied flame is to get a good ending while also saving Melina. I feel like there has to be another ending to where you have to do this. I thought about possibly sparing Melina and also getting Ranni's Age of the Stars ending may give you an alternate ending to the Age of the Stars ending. I think this, because Ranni and Melina clearly have some connection to each other. I'm not entirely sure what it is, because I'm not one of those geniuses that understand a lot of the cryptic lore. However, it's pretty obvious that there is a connection. Also, there is a different version of the Lord of the Frenzied Flame ending that is determined by whether Melina is used as kindling or you already adopted the frenzied flame and are abandoned by Melina. I have not tried it, because it seems like too much work for me.
I know and understand that it is assumed that everyone has experienced pretty much all of this game by now, but that isn't necessarily the case. I've had this game since release, currently 170 hours in, and really taking my time to enjoy my first playthrough. That said, while over the years they're usually pretty good about it, this video should have came with a spoiler warning. At least towards the end of the video. Some big ones since points 2 and 1 reveal massive story and ending spoilers.
I was looking exactly to see if someone had pointed it out. Just got spoiled the statue secret. Pretty mad right now. Im gonna stop the video to avoid breaking my mouse. Love Falcon but I feel he dropped the ball on this one........
I don’t understand the point of complaining when you both came to a video about things you didn’t know about the game. If you don’t want spoilers don’t watch videos, and if you want to find out specific information search that up. But since you’re watching videos about Elden ring you should know that when you beat the game you can keep your stats and go through the game again, so taking your time to experience every little thing in one playthrough is meaningless because it’s impossible to get all the items in one play through and it’s impossible to play as every style in one go. Do whatever you want though, please just stop complaining about something you could’ve prevented
i really dont understand why that walla is like that, but i hit it for over an hr with a strength build and it still didnt disappear. its super pointless but i wanted to try. Note: Make sure to go further to the back of that tunnel and hit the REAL secret wall for a Summons ash
@@TheDennyBros it was probably meant to open after a certain event triggers. Normally, event walls like that have 9999 health and 9999 resistance, but this one has 0 resistance. Also, the easier way to break it is with the spinning wheel weapon.
The devs know that every single inch of their games are combed through for secrets by millions of people for years so they probably just made that wall as a troll. Wouldn't surprise me if there are more walls like that.
@@ThwipThwipBoom Yep. I have genuine, diagnosed obsessive compulsive disorder, and i know fromsoft like to use illusory walls, so as i run through a dungeon I will hit every single tile of wall as i go just to make sure i haven't missed an illusory wall. Honestly, I'm really kind of pissed that there are walls you have to hit 50 times to break through because that is going to really fuck with my messed up brain. It's already taken me 150 hours to get to caelid/leyndell because of how i play. I might have to give in and just use a guide instead of my normal systematic OCD method for finding secrets because that's going to be really frustrating.
Miquella needle quest is probably related to the 7th ending that got removed from the game. It was the unification of the 3 fingers and the 2 fingers so we can assume that to unify the fingers you had to become one with frenzied flame first and then pacify the chaos with the order
The wall boss health reminded me when in Destiny 2, season of the Almighty, a glitch caused the door to never open and stop a quest progression. People made the door have a health bar like a raid boss. It was funny
The button mashing to get out of grabs faster? All the buttons. Don't alternate two, smash all the buttons and triggers you can. It's based on the number of total button presses. Rapid fire controllers or AutoHotKey also benefit you here.
I actually destroyed the chariot in AURIZA HERO'S with Mohgs spear ability. After dying relentlessly to them, i was glad i could complete the rest of the place uninterrupted.
An additional cool detail for the chariots in #7: I got myself pinned in a corner in the Mount Gelmir Heroes Grave last night (the one with lava) and desperately tried to jump on the chariot to avoid dying. I found out if you time it right, you can jump on the little platform on the chariots and ride them back up to the top! It's a little tricky to avoid getting hit, but you can indeed ride the chariots pretty reliably. *Edit: comments inform me that this is the only heroes grave this trick works on.
it only works on the chariot that has no statue riding it, only horses. BTW you can skip that part if you just go all the way down on the lava, on the left you'll find a "finger" axe, and on the left a slightly hidden fall that will put you right in front of the boss' gate.
I have a way to see invisible bridges sort of. This doesn’t work for the first invisible bridge at heretics rise because that is where the sorcery comes from but you can use founding rain of stars and the projectiles raining down won’t pass through the bridge so you can see where it is
That radagon is Marika thing is tied to a super secret ending. It involves sunflower bro and the golden order dude from roundtable that sells early incantations.

@@ergheiz1245 it's what's I said, go to any dungeon with a flame trap. Use mohgs shackle. It hits them from far away. I mean far too. Test it on any dungeon.
@@ergheiz1245 with the specific dungeon (I forget the name, but located at the eastern end of Altus plateau) that has the two chariots going back and forth past each other, they are destroyed by a shadow chariot that appears after a light touches it. the light is on a fire pillar trap that has to be struck to make it move up, and using either of the shackle items will send an AOE through the walls and hit the pillar.
A fun tip for the invisible walkways, since the game does not allow you to fall off while attacking. Just swing that sword until you feel the edge of the invisible bridge, process of elimination on where you need to turn
you can fall off while attacking. that only works for leds that would led to the "bottom" of the world, but if there is terrain below you can still fall and die
@@pietroviske My friend told me this and for the most part it is true, there is a gray area situation (correct me if I’m wrong but hear me out). There is at least 4 kinds of falling from what I have experienced. There is no damage at all, then there’s the most common fall damage where you take like 20-30% of your HP, and then there’s a tiny window and I mean tiny where if you fall it does 50% of ur health bar, and finally the height that’s too high; no matter what even if you have the talisman for fall damage you lose 100% HP. The game saving you when swinging at the edge of a cliff or walkway should only work when the fall is going to be in that 100% HP fall distance. So yeah there are some pretty unfortunate situations where I’m at 50% HP, and the cliff looks like it’s too far too jump down so I keep swinging but I fall and die since it was in that gray area. I’ve tried swinging at the edge of some really high up spots in stormveil and there’s definitely a lot of those gray areas but it’s possible without an abyss
For mogh, lord of blood, you can actually find mohgs shackle in the underground tunnels in leyndell capital. It does the same thing that Margit shackle does but for mogh
Me: Asks Gameranx to ease up on the amount of Elden Ring videos. Perhaps show a little love to Horizon Forbidden West . Gameranx: Did you know you can stand there and hit a wall roughly fifty times and it will lead you to a room you have already accessed?
Found the secret walk path in the haligtree tunnel offline by attempting to make the jump to the hole in the wall. Didn't look like I quite made it buy was close enough to chalk it up to dumb luck, but then I saw one of the Vulgar Millita guys just walking on air. In retrospect it's not so well hidden that it takes dumb luck to find. That one hidden wall however, not so much.
I'm sure there's already a comment on it, but in Aruiza Hero's Grave, if you stand where he is at 4:54 and use to Margit's shackle item, you can circumvent this entire dungeon by destroying the chariots early. Normally you would have to go around and hit one of those imp fire traps to expose the light that causes the chariots to crash, but Margit's shackle has a large, invisible aoe that hits it through the wall. Because of this, you can also use the shackle to raise other fire traps or expose invisible walls in a wide area. Alternatively, you can use raptor of the mists to dodge through the chariots. You're welcome.
Mohg also has a shackle you can find in the subterranean shunning grounds which stuns him for like 6 seconds. On top of that crystal tear it can make the fight so much easier.
Thank you.. Your videos have gotten me through some rough times because there so funny and intriguing and entertaining and it’s just an amazing channel. While in Lava in order to move faster through it you can also turn around with your back pointing towards the direction you want to go and simply spam dodge without using directional keys. This way you do a very quick backstep which completely ignored the slow from the terrain unlike dodge rolling. It's still beaten by Quickstep which literally anyone will have simply by using even the worst daggers in the game but if you're not feeling like equipping one due to lack of slots or perfectly calculated weight, it's a nice tip to know about & use.
I love how this game doesn't hold your hand and you can miss shit so easy. Makes you want to keep playing to try and find everything. Wish more games did this.
Awesome game. Beat it twice. Once on PC and the second on PS5. Might try to platinum the PS5 version on NG+ and ++. I just can’t get myself to play anything else. Poor Horizon and GT7.
It’s a really interesting lore implication for Radagon and Marika. The way I see it is that it’s two bodies with one soul. Because we know Radagon left Marika for Rennala at one point, then went back to Marika, fathering Miquella and Malenia. Miquella and Malenia also were both born heavily defected, likely due to the selfcest of Radagon and Marika. Malenia is infected with scarlet rot, and Miquella is cursed to forever be young.
Kinda long but i hope this helps people who are interested in the lore. Further looking into the Lore , the explanation i came too, was when the Golden Order became the dominant outer God of the Lands Bewteen and chose Marika as its Vessel. Marika then chose Godfrey as her consort , as a consort is one of the 3 things needed to become what is basically the Elden RULER, Not elden lord. These 2 things are different, as Anyone can become an elden lord, (you the player character does this eventually). The Vessel is ranked higher than the elden Lord, which is why there are multiple in elden ring history but only Marika has stayed in her position in absolute. Marika had to spread the golden order and conquer the lands. In order to do this, she split her soul into 2 halves, Herself and Radagon. And Radagon was basically the Conquerer she sent to lead the armies. And when Godfrey was no longer needed by the Golden Order, he was stripped of his title of Elden Lord, when this happened. Queen Marika called back Radagon, her other actual soul half, and Basically used Radagon as a Replacement consort. This is also the Reason that Marika and Radagons Children , Malenia and Miqeulla, can be considered potential candidates to replace Marika. As they have the vital and necessary requirement of being “Empyrans”. Beings born from a singular god, (in this case Marika , since she is also Radagon). Being an Empyrean is also 1 of 3 requirements to become Elden Ruler, I believe the other 2 are having a consort, and a “shadow” , A shadow like Black Blade Maliketh was to Marika. Or how Blaidd is the Shadow of Ranni. Ranni is heavily implied to be the one to succeed Marika, but Ranni did not want to be a pawn in God’s game, so she did the things that led to the Shattering and the current power struggle.
there are 3 of these hefty fake walls in volcano manor, and one of them gets you to Zorayas early and you can start her quest and unlock her door that you usually cant from the hallway without doing the whole quest line for the girl in the chair, pretty interesting
The multi chariots in the auriza hero grace can be destroyed if you use mohg’s shackle in every room before leaving the archway that leaves to the double chariot road, log out from the game, log back in, and then inch your way out towards the road. The shackle triggers the fire trap if in a specific spot of the area and you don’t have to run through all the dungeons abuse minus the basilisk hell lol.
I didn't know about quite a few of these... I didn't even know about the 2 headed dragon dude... now I'm going to somehow find out that there's an underground area for Farum Azula.
The illusory wall thing has since been covered in depth by Zullie The Witch; all of the illusory walls have a boatload of health dont destroy them but disappear on an event trigger when the playyer hits them. the illusory walls in volcano manor have since been changed to be regular walls and no "50 hit illusory wall" was ever intended by FromSoft

Another even less known thing about the chariots is that if there is just a flat spot (the ones without a statue) on top, you can actually jump on them and ride them around.

you can use Magrit's Shackle on Morgott (also there is a Mohg's shackle too) you can use AOE spells (like aoe heal or above mentioned shackle) to reveal invisible walls. also the #2 isn't a secret. it's just a part of a quest for the sunbro.

Not sure what the exact trigger is when you can use the medallion to get there (if you did the quest), but seeing as to how the actual portal to his place is located in a secret late game area that leads to the hardest area/boss in the game, I'd say he's pretty far down the list, especially if you solo him. I'd say if you've cleared Fire Giant, go for it.
Just an f.y.I. But I for one will not get tired of elden ring videos so please keep them coming. Also you forgot to mention that there are invisible ladders that will appear with a torch equipped
For those who dont know, those invisible walkways can be seen (kinda) by hitting them with AOE spells like breaths. Spells bounce back when there's a wall or ground. Also another secret i got, im not sure if this is common, i got to fight godfrey with shabriri and nepheli as co-summons. Simply by taking the frenzied flame seal after farum azulla, then after the last boss went back to farum and removed the seal. Easy godfrey fight. Basically 4 v 1, since i used tiche summon. 😂
I saw a really good theory about the “50 hit wall” which was that it was originally used for a script in the game. Meaning it would trigger when you got close to it or a NPC was supposed to maybe break through it to start a quest of some sort. This would mean the developers would have to set the walls health value at 9999 and the NPC’s or enemy’s attack value at 9999 so that they could break the wall but you couldn’t until you unlocked the quest line, either because this is a secret quest line no one has found yet or a DLC that may be used at a later point. A more realistic explanation is that the wall is unused asset that the devs forgot to take out of the game before it was released. Anticlimactic I know but still interesting none the less!
Number 4: besides it's not as maneuverable as the quicksteps, you can simply >backstep< as well... in case you do not want to change ashes or doesn't already have one of these two ready to use, when needed.
I think with the frenzied flame thing, they probably gave you a way to remove it because you can accidentally get yourself stuck with the Lord of Frenzy ending, which is what happened to me on my first playthrough, you get it just by following Hyetta's questline and getting the frenzied flame since there's literally no prompt or anything that warns you about it before you do it, you just get told by Hyetta to walk into a door and unequip your armor, then you get a cutscene and boom now your body has burn marks and your eyes glow, oh and Melina hates you now.
A bit of additional fun bit for #7: if u invest in vigor and vitality u can tank atleast 2 hits from the chariots....this can help if you are unable to run away un in time
I spent a long time trying to get down that shaft before giving up at how frustrating the ordeal of missing narrow ledges by a fraction was. Now, after watching this video, I realise that I'd be better off leaving that until another plautheoigh.

Margit's Shackle and Mohg's Shackle do this. They also raise and lower those flame pillars AND will set off any nearby traps.
You can also backstep through swamps. It's slower than quickstep, but WAY faster than walking.
The thing for Mohg's curse doesn't completely negate it, but it does HEAVILY reduce the damage and prevent it from staggering you.
Ive yet to fight Mohg but since you only get one charge of the Physick does the buff last the whole fight? Or does he only do that ritual attack once?
@@Nawticc He applies the curse 3 times before he does his phase transition at roughly 50% HP, then detonates the curse during his phase transition. He doesn't reapply it again.
The physick effect last like 3 minutes, so as long as you make him do the phase switch within 3 minutes of using it, you're good to go. You can also just hold onto it and use it AS SOON as you see him start the transition, as long as you get it in before the first detonation goes off it'll work.
@@Nawticc When u hear him say UNOS, u can use the Physick or maybe at Duos to be safe since he shud be 50% before the effect wears off

So when mogh does his power up, he still gets healed, but you can just beat him back down in the meantime with no repercussion :D
Also very useful for spell-spamming bosses like Rennala or the Final Boss.
About the 50 hits wall, Zullie the Witch has an interesting in depth video about it. Basically, isn't meant to be a secret wall and is considered to have 9999 hp, not really needed to hit it 50 times.
As to why it shouldn't be removed : it can potentially lure enemies in the sanctuary zone, meaning you'd have no way to fight back against them if this passage is open.
shouldn't the sanctuary zone make you invulnerable though

The fact that there is supposedly illusory walls in this game that take multiple hits to break, it makes me wonder if there are perhaps walls like this on older games that nobody has discovered because nobody thought to hit them more than once. Perhaps in Dark Souls One there's a secret illusory wall that has the secrets to unlock the Pendants power.

So you were going to find these secrets in about another 400-600 hours on your own time is what your getting at?
I don’t understand the point of complaining when you both came to a video about things you didn’t know about the game. If you don’t want spoilers don’t watch videos, and if you want to find out specific information search that up. But since you’re watching videos about Elden ring you should know that when you beat the game you can keep your stats and go through the game again, so taking your time to experience every little thing in one playthrough is meaningless because it’s impossible to get all the items in one play through and it’s impossible to play as every style in one go.
Not most of them. That one is intended to be ridden. That is actually the intended way of getting through the dungeon.

While in Lava in order to move faster through it you can also turn around with your back pointing towards the direction you want to go and simply spam dodge without using directional keys.
Elden ring is amazing and keeps whooping my ass haha. Keep up the awesome content guys!

there are 3 of these hefty fake walls in volcano manor, and one of them gets you to Zorayas early and you can start her quest and unlock her door that you usually cant from the hallway without doing the whole quest line for the girl in the chair, pretty interesting

Throughout the whole soul series I had absolutely no idea that you could escape grab attacks. Damn
In this example video it looks like the attack is ricocheting off the frame of the illusory wall, not actually hitting it.
Number 4: besides it's not as maneuverable as the quicksteps, you can simply >backstep< as well... in case you do not want to change ashes or doesn't already have one of these two ready to use, when needed.
yeah, the walls were confirmed as a mistake by the developers.
Prelates charge is good for the traversing slowing ground effects. It also damages and push’s enemy back.
bro mispronounced every name
melania
Shit has to be bait
Malania trump
I think with the frenzied flame thing, they probably gave you a way to remove it because you can accidentally get yourself stuck with the Lord of Frenzy ending, which is what happened to me on my first playthrough, you get it just by following Hyetta's questline and getting the frenzied flame since there's literally no prompt or anything that warns you about it before you do it, you just get told by Hyetta to walk into a door and unequip your armor, then you get a cutscene and boom now your body has burn marks and your eyes glow, oh and Melina hates you now.
0:55 not to give him shit but a little kid can pronounce better than falcon lmao.
A bit of additional fun bit for #7: if u invest in vigor and vitality u can tank atleast 2 hits from the chariots....this can help if you are unable to run away un in time
in this video : How to say every name wrong
I spent a long time trying to get down that shaft before giving up at how frustrating the ordeal of missing narrow ledges by a fraction was. Now, after watching this video, I realise that I'd be better off leaving that until another plautheoigh.
That's the best spelling of playthrough I've ever seen. Bravo :)
@@overseastom I'm amazed at myself for managing that one 😄 It shall be left unedited as a form of art.
Bloodhound step can help a lot on hero’s catacombs. Those ones with the deadly rollers 😁
reversing the frenzied flame makes it canon that Melina survives without sacrificing herself
How can you hear a name said many times throughout the game and still mispronounce it?
Falcon... youve shown me SOO MANY THINGS in your vidz of E.R. that I NEVER knew! Thanks so much for your vidz!!
When Falcon said church of “Marika” I was dying, cause the way he said made it sound as if he said a word in Spanish which is the equivalent of stupid
