Probably one of the cheapest setups there too. Big tires. Forged internals. Built trans and big turbo and tune. Probably a 25k truck. Crazyyy

Wright Marshall There's no way in hell that trans is stock. A 4l80e start snapping input shafts at 600ish.

Damn- you're right about the Viper's glowing headers. I could see the blue flames from the exhaust but I had to look again for the tell-tale orange glow under the Viper. And this truck is dangerous...sick SERIOUS power in a sleeper setup. Would love to make one like it.
Pretty cool for a 4500lb truck to b running with any of those cars. One day when all u kids grow up move out of your moms basement and actually own a car, build it, pay for it, and take it to the strip you'll realize what it takes to make a heavy truck run that fast. Anything running a 9 and being street driven is insane.

In the race that starts at 1:40; there's a viper that is streaming blue fire out of it's side pipes. You can see the under-car glow of the headers too. Watch it again, it's pretty cool.

Only thing I love more than muscle cars and fast imports are muscle trucks! Chevy, LSx & turbos just work so well together. Hot Rod mag got dang near 1,000 horsepower from a junkyard 4.8L silverado block on stock bottom end and high psi. I'm stuck with my '96 SS right now but a turbo 5.3L swap is what I dream of. I've followed flaco's truck as well as the old parrish truck for some time now....prob gonna pick the dvd up, looks dope.

Man that thing can accelerate at low speeds. But you can see its aerodynamics taking affect while the lower powered cars start to catch up after a while. But still that is one hell of a chev!

Get one of those water bags that evenly distribute the weight in back of truck. People use them for winter driving with pickup trucks. May help with traction. And of course trac bars.
