I love your wildlife pond, so well made and planted! It is the one feature that I don't have in my garden but very much want, it was fascinating to see how you approached creating it. And Milo is a very handsome boy🥰 Thank you for stopping by my channel and leading me back to yours - I'm now a subscriber.
Thank you! I'm hoping to make another video this summer to show how the plants are looking now they're a bit more established - keep an eye out for that! 💕
Wow! This was next level landscaping🙌 I really like how well the plants fill in the space. I can tell a lot of consideration went into the design and layout.
Looks really good. I've just had to drain mine after about 6 years and add a filter. Plants alone weren't enough to keep it turning stagnant eventually.
Thank you! Shame the plants didn’t do the job for you. My old pond did eventually balance out after a few years, but then the whole thing was covered in water mint by that stage and you couldn’t see any of the water even though it was clear! I'm keeping clear of water mint this time.
@@PlasBachGarden yeah I had years of a good pond but eventually just a lack of movement and biological filtration meant a restart. I expected it. Will see how a filter does. The trickle sounds nice 🙂
Hi there. I loved your video. Your pond is lovely and your garden is amazing. You must have some very interesting wildlife in your pond and in your garden. Have you had frogspawn this year yet?
Thanks so much! Being out in the wilds, we do get some interesting wildlife. Neighbours tell me there are some otters living downstream from us, so it would be great to see some of those. No frogspawn as yet. We do have another pond (well a big hole that was meant to be a pond but is more of a puddle! I'll show it in another vid sometime) and that gets frogspawn - not seen any yet this year, but we might be a few weeks behind as we're a bit high up.
Hi there! If it’s the one I think you mean, it’s Purple Loosestrife (Lythrum salicaria). I have it growing as a marginal pond plant here, but you can grow it directly in soil too. Pollinating insects love it.
@@PlasBachGarden That is indeed that plant I love the look of it as a marginal and have never seen it before and would love to have one for my pond ! Thank you 🙏🏽

Thank you so much! (From Milo too!) Hoping to do an update video on the pond soon - just waiting for some more sunny weather. Keep in touch!
❤
Your pond is beautiful! Especially those gorgeous plants you put around it. Stunning. ❤

Your right, everyone needs a pond 🙂 Lots of hard work you've put into your property.
Thank you! It's made a real difference here and is my favourite part of the garden. Thanks for checking in!
Sharing the beautiful wild pond I really enjoyed it. My dad always had a pond at every home he owned.
He sounds a very wise chap!
You have done a stunning job for the wildlife 👏👏👏
Thanks! It really is attracting loads of wildlife, so I'm really pleased!
Great work! the pond looks so beautiful!

Great work! (Also you have an incredible narration voice) 😘
That's lovely of you to say, thanks!

It's a wonderful pond! Good job creating more habitat for the wildlife.
Thanks, glad you like it! It's definitely changed the whole atmosphere of the garden and the birds love it.
I totally agree with you about the value of a water feature in your garden - I enjoyed the video my friend.
Thank you so much!
❤❤❤
Thank you!
What is the taller flowering plant you have in the shallows ?

@@charles1700You're very welcome! They grow quite easily from seed so you could get a few to go in!
Wow! I like the pond with all the plants. A sure attraction for the wild life.
@@BevsHomeGarden Thanks so much!
