I feel guilty at times for always giving you a thumbs up because it is more or less for me to know that I have watched the video. You make me feel guilty at times for not having leaves to give the worms as I totally agree with the natural evolutionary relation between the two. I have enjoyed the nice citrus fragrance when feeding my bins after giving them citrus left overs. I have enjoyed your videos for almost 2 years now and I thought that once I had my own bins I would lose interest but here we are six months after I started my wormery and I'm still watching.
536 days without a Harvest of the castings ? What percentage "Full" is that bag now, 30% ? And what do you figure it would hold total, 15 gallons ? I have noticed it never seems to rise in volume going by surface level and the window opening level !
More recently I've noticed a _slight_ change in the level of the material in the system - presumably because of the extra attention I've been paying to try & bulk up the system with more bedding than usual I don't know the overall capacity of the VermiBag Mini - but your 15 gallon guestimate sounds realistic. And the 30% full guess also seems realistic I'm clearly in no hurry to crawl in under that thing to remove castings. Perhaps since I'm not overly confident in whether the material has enough 'grip' on the inside of the bag to prevent a full-on drainage of the system's contents :)
Eveyone says you cant feed onion i fed chopped onions carrots and lettuce to my worms. It seems They ate the onion first ? Whats your experience with onion / garlic
