I've been on youtube for 10 years and I usually don't comment just to give a compliment. I'll do an exception for you guys because I've never been so excited to watch a video. I swear every new upload it's like Christmas. The builds, the fab work, the music, the edit, every single thing is on point.
It's always interesting seeing other people fab up something creative. I also examine the problem and try to think of how I would do it, then seeing what you come up with I'm always like dang, that's a way better way to do it. lol But I guess I'm not looking at it in person so who knows I would probably think the same about some of my fab stuff if I watched it one a video. Great work as always, see you guys at SEMA!
this thing's way too fast already. wouldn't run a turbo 500 in an open body offroader... especially not with less than 4ft between the axles. that's asking for death.
I just wanted to let you guys know you officially inspired me! I got a 2 stroke bike engine for my nephew, a 4 stroke for myself, and a 4 stroke for my moms old busted trike! You guys gave me the inspiration to just say screw it and try something cool! Worst case scenario I spend time with my mom and nephew and we build a pile of junk and have some funny memories, best case we have an awesome bike scooter gang! Keep up the awesome work and keep inspiring people like me to go for it, and grind hard for what we want.

You guys are great. My Dad used to make us Go-carts mostly out of rebar in the early 60's. Used 6vlt starter motor with a 12v batt. Later he was one of the first people to make "dune buggys" by cutting up a car shortening it etc. 1st one was a 50 Ford with a flathead v8. He would have applauded your style.
The fact that its snowing just gave me the craziest nostalgia. Through your videos i feel like ive followed all your adventures all year long and the snow just further proved that this years coming to an end and its just kinda summing up how far youve come in such a short amount of time. Its amazing. Proud of you guys, maybe one day ill run into you and show you some weird builds.
I want this to be 100% clear- This channel is the best thing I watch on UA-cam, HANDS DOWN. It's pretty easy to see that a ton of people religiously watch this shit (I seriously look forward to fridays even more for pw builds, just like your other subscribers). Only hope is that you keep it classy and rework that paddle shifter with some kind of gyro. It's been clean for the most part this whole time, finish strong bub!! Love you guys!

So stoked on this build! You should build a diesel truck with 4wd to be the ultimate rock crawler and to tow the Jeep or mustang in a trailer that would be so cool
Mounting the gopro from the mouth guard of the helmet might give a really cool driving angle. It's a really common mounting position for mountain biking because it gives a nice forward view while also showing the bars. It gives a really nice first person view.
I would like to make a suggestion. I had mentioned this suggestion to cars and cameras and they did try it but it did not work. I think the perfect shifter would be an electric solenoid. They used one off of a Cadillac power door lock solenoid and it just didn't have enough power to shift. They tried to make it shift with the motor off as we all know that it's much easier to shift with the motor running. I know they make solenoids that are directional both push and pull that are high torque as that's what it would take. Then, you can just use a little button one on each thumb area location. Just a thought and please consider it. Do some research and see if you can find a high-torque directional electric solenoid. They also make them that are high torque that are activated by air but it's anybody's guess how many shifts you would get out of a bottle of air. Not many I feel safe to assume. Let me know your thoughts guys. I love the show as I mentioned every time I leave a message. Never got a response back of any kind but that's typical I guess. Moto mule will flat say hello if nothing else.

Snow Bike! Yes! Love that thing (as well as everything else). I am kinda bummed I have to wait until spring (I am assuming) for the completion of the Triumph. Good things come to those who wait. It will also make spring that much more enjoyable!!
Man I don't know if I could have admitted the shifter mishap especially after it ended up working, you're a good dude. Crazy how you can do all that one-off engineering then brain fart on something like that isn't it. A mind is a funny thing. Nice work.
Budgets for builds would be nice aswell as rough hours etc you guys build some top notch customs and just shows the appreciation so people realise what you do when they aren't fabricators welders mechanics or engineers just how much time and effort goes into a custom toy 👍🤪 keep up the good work and keep us all smiling....
For your control scheme, I would change it personally. I would put the brakes on the right side of the steering wheel, the clutch on the left paddle. Then you put a sequential up and down as the left pedal and throttle as the right pedal. That way it remains a familiar control scheme for someone to transition to from a motorcycle or dirt bike.

This build really is amazing, the things you guys come up with is... just awesome! If I was to make that shifter, I would make it so it wasn't connected to the steering shaft, maybe held up in place with a couple support bars. Would eliminate the problem of the shifting bar moving around.
Just a suggestion but I would love to see like a daiy rip EVERYDAY. Even if is just a 1 minute rip video of a different vehicle throughout the week or have a set vehicle for each day to make a quick rip video in throughout the week on top of what you guys already do would be awesome. Either way ITS AN EXCUSE FOR YOU GUYS TO MAKE THE TIME TO JUST LET ER EAT IN THEM INCREDIBLE TOYS AND HAVE FUN
Guys, easy fix on the paddles. Cut and fit a mounting bracket that comes up to where you need the paddles. Needs to be mounted separate from the steering column. Use the pipes that come from under the steering wheel towards the back of the frame as the base for your mounting bracket
If you want to get fancy with the shift rod, look into how helicopter swaahplates work. But damn that is one tidy little nugget of a machine. I love it!
Doing great work guys, I do have a suggestion to your shift and clutch paddles (left side paddle all clutch amd right side paddle split between up and down shifting. This will be much easier to operate.
You guys created a whole new genre of power toys, you guys have made three now your friend (whisch I shamefully can't remember the name made the porche, and Rather B welding is making one with a Grave Digger body. These are insane I wish I could make one

I accidentally sent one of those quads out from under me while WOT. It stood up on one rear tire and did the Tasmanian Devil spin 5 or 6 rotations! Lol, Gobs of torque. Still surprised it pulled that arm up. I bet it was a combination of the shock mount location, G forces, and engine torque. They all pull in the same direction against the shock at that point.
As no doubt already mentioned, two cable shifting works very well. Allows mechanical advantage to be set perfectly and steering isn't a concern. A lot more engineering but a hydraulic system for shifting could be interesting to develop. It could be one of those, if you make it available they will use it, type of things.
He's not even done slipping the clutch out in first gear and already doing 40mph LOL. *ALSO* ya might wanna tuck in those shoe laces by that chain! LMAO LOVE IT.
Love the paddles! Maybe adding a sleeve around the steering column that doesn't move and mounting the paddles to that? Or mounting it via bracket by the steering column bearing? Non-moving or "column mounted" paddles are motorsport preference anyways.

For the shifters, have you heard of, or thought of a system similar to BMX gyro brakes? They would allow the wheel to turn 360+ degrees, if required. They're designed to allow bowden cables to operate around a pivot without binding.
Even without the gyro, cables on each side would be better, and negate the need for cutting the dash since they can be routed.
Yeah I vote for simple cables or hydraulic. The rod seems like it will be changing lengths and riding the gears at locks.
Came here to post this. I was thinking this was exactly what they were going to do and was shocked when he overlooked this because these guys are awesome and know their stuff!
I was thinking the same thing. BMX brake gyro design seems like it would work.
I was thinking they could surround the thing that connects the steering wheel to the car and just put column shifters
I'm just concerned about that rapidly spinning chain between my legs
Ya hit the brake will also losing a toe. Cool build though

He's not even done slipping the clutch out in first gear and already doing 40mph LOL. *ALSO* ya might wanna tuck in those shoe laces by that chain! LMAO LOVE IT.
