This is another video on DIY air dry clay ideas. This time I tried making a jar for my Nespresso pods. I used a plastic container which makes it easy to wipe down the inside of the jar. I wouldn't put any food items in it that requires regular cleaning, so Nespresso pods seemed like the perfect idea. This is an easy project that anyone can do!

Joolie, did the plastic pot still fit inside it once it was dry? Because I know Das air dry clay shrinks a bit when it dries.
Hi Carly! Yes, you're right, das usually shrinks a bit, but I kept the plastic container inside and molded the clay to it. I didn't wrap the clay tightly to the container which prevented cracking. That's a good idea for my next project though- make the plastic container removable! Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment :) 💗

yes, please try it 🥰 I used DAS air dry clay on this piece and it dried beautifully with no cracking.

Is it safe to put food on it?
unfortunately, air dry clay isn't food safe :( I just use this jar for coffee pods and wipe down the inside if I need to because it's plastic :)

I am! Actually, my first time working with air dry clay was my video on making air dry clay coasters below. I did use clay in high school art years ago, but other than that, i'd consider myself a beginner :)
