I did a special episode on flywheels. As an example, the flywheels of the Volvo B20 engine, but also a lot about flywheels in general. My lightest flywheel is now in the same category as R-sport offered in its brochure in the 70's. It is about 2,8 kilograms lighter than standard. Balancing was also done appropriately. The steel flywheel will then possibly come in the next project.

Clutch cover = bellhousing.
Gearbox "axle" = input shaft or spigot.
It will be interesting to see the difference in performance.
