As for the Equestria being outdated and needing a rework you don't need to worry, the dev team seems to be working steadly on a rework for it as well as content for civil war breakaway states, one of which will be completely new tag. After all is said and done, the guy and all those ancient tongue speaking "volunteers" that appeared alongside him disappear in a flash of light in the middle of the celebrations. What other mod can make a path like this?

I started loosing super bad even though I had lvl 3 forts on each border. Thankfully Stalliongrad came to rescue and pulled some of Changelings troops from my border. I started pushing more and more until they capitulated. Then proceeded to do a continent conquest in like one-two years. Recommend to everyone
Hansen, at 1:00 you asked if it was canon to the lore, yes it is. The reason why is because a certain character rips a whole through the dimensions and travels to that dimension meeting his race in a zoo, hangs out with the girls and start a Hard Rock band with Pinkie Pie, and watch Idol shows. On a sidenote, the whole event sequence for the zoo is hilarious, they see them and try to communicate with them as they believe they're from the age of monsters, a time where monsters roamed and ruled the lands where their race were just regular creatures until they gained intelligence. it doesn't work and so they make plans to break them out, but scraps it because they can't bring any tech to that dimension so they give up vowing that one day they'll free their brethren from captivity.
I’ve got an idea for a hoi4 mod, and yes it is inspired by fallout 4. It’s called “Everlasting Winter” Here’s the lore. Remember Vasili Arkhipov? The man that stopped ww3? Yea in this timeline he wasn’t in that soviet submarine. He was replaced by someone else because he was anti war. So all 3 officers pull the trigger and ww3 begins on October 2nd 1962. Nukes fly all over the place with some even blowing up in the Middle East, europe, Africa, South America and Asia. This caused a global nuclear winter which only Oceania survived…. For about 20 years. They eventually got hit by nuclear winter in 1980. And thus, the world was in a nuclear winter. Only 100,000 survived in fallout bunkers. 180 years go by. It is now the year, 2162. Finally, humans can go up to the surface and the nuclear winter was finally over. The First Nation to arise from nuclear fallout was Tasmania. Followed by the People’s Republic of Patagonia and the Kingdom of the Cape. Over the next 20 years, more and more nations raised from nuclear fallout and by 2182, the entire world had arisen from nuclear fallout! And that is where the mod begins. You can play as over 300 nations! Every nation is unique and describes one nations before nuclear fallout. For example, the Empire of Agra describes Pakistan before the nuclear fallout. Each focus tree is very unique! I’ll be explaining the lore of each continent once this comment gets a certain amount of likes. So, if you want to see part one of the Everlasting Winter lore, get this comment to 10 likes! That’s right, you heard me! Like it now!!!
In the lore department, most of it is made up and iirc everything past the beginning or ending of s5 is altered or simply doesn't happen (to make the mod timeline work). Some wacky recommendations and youtuber commentary later I guess that the human world is a thing because Bacon Hair shows up to commit war crimes against the bugs
Fun fact: as of right now, Azir on Zebrica has content. If this comment is how you are finding out about this, i encourage you to go play Azir right now and wait until October 1008 (fun things will start happening) Good luck, and remember: the bell tolls for us all.

I downloaded hoi4 just for this mod and never played the original. And Wingbardy is the Roman Empire, which in this mod is called the Carfin Empire and Rome is called Carfin. The Crystal Empire has the opportunity to follow the path of King Sombra, but its branch is quite boring, except perhaps for a secret joke with the possibility of the wedding of King Sombra and the ruler of Stalliongrad, Sinister Serov... And the Hippogriffs also have a secret path through the Sirens with a rather interesting branch of tricks and lore related with the original lore of the series, albeit redone to make it possible to logically add 3 Sirens to the game.
Met a dude that claimed to be a dev for the mod and when he said "I don't play vanilla mods anymore" to joining an OWB game my response was "what too boring" "No I'm a lore writer for the new continent in EaW" "Oh that will keep you busy" "You have no idea"
My observations and corrections on this video: 0:36 While true, it isn’t too deep or anything, just mainly very important events in the history. 0:52 This is surprisingly wrong. You only really need a basic grasp of the show’s lore before hopping in, and even then you don’t really even need to, as so much is just made up by the devs. There’s even a playlist of all the episodes you need to watch if you really want to be caught up. 1:34 Azir jumpscare 2:57 Did you know that Nova Griffonia can become trademarked if you take a certain path in the focus tree? (It even get’s the rights reserved symbol on the end of its name). 3:25 The Polar Bears were only updated about half a year ago, and yes, Hyperbearia is very funny. 3:43 Sadly, it’s only Equestria and Stalliongrad getting reworked (as the Dec team constantly reminds us). 4:03 LORD PROTECTOR JUMPSCARE! Also, very important to inform you that the Griffonian Empire only references the HRE slightly, it’s mostly based off of the German Empire. If you want the HRE, go play the DemSocs in Angriver. 5:18 You absolute traitor. How dare you only put Trimmel in charge of the tanks. How dare you replace him with.. with… FULTONI! Trimmel had to fight in two civil wars to earn that position.TRIMMEL IS A FIVE SKILL FIELD MARSHAL FOR CHRYSALIS’ SAKE! Anyway, nice video.
BTW the Realm of Kiria may be the greatest experience I've ever had in hoi4. Brilliant and incredibly dense lore with so many gameplay options it legitimately boggles the mind
What remix of Die Young is the outro for this vid? Also great vid, I actually forgot about this mod until now, will give it a shot because I haven't played it since it got released.
This mod is great, but I've not played that many countries. I always struggle to find what to play, for a variety of reasons. I don't want a nation that's above my skill at the game (900 hours, rookie numbers), but I also want one that's got a path that is interesting to me. That last part is especially subjective and hard to define, but still. I've had this problem with other mods too, but since this is in a different world, it's a bit more difficult. To put it simply... If anyone has some fun (but not too difficult) nations to recommend, I'd be grateful. Yeah, there's that wiki page about it, but I want to hear from the individual players.
I think if you want a simple challange I think Griffonian Republic can be nice for starters that want to have some expansion and relatively good country to play
(I suppose you play historical) A fun country to play as is Polar Bears while submitting to changelings: You do a bit of story of the path you chose, when changelings attacks you change path and have the madbear, if changelings starts to lose the great war you can straight up betray them and having another small path with some decisions. Basically until the very end you can't lose Both Chiropterra/(suprematist/militarists coup) Colthage are good: You have some small wars and in the big one you get help from Wingbardy, if you can't naval invade Hippogriffs you can white peace while keeping the mainland Aquileia/Griffinian Empire (non coup) both are pretty easy and simple
I personally recommend Aquilea monarchist path (a bit of a challenge mid game but really fun to play with a nice story) or as Luna/Nightmare Moon in the Equestrian Civil War
@@mirovini. I've just started playing the Aqualian Republic, quite good. They don't seem as powerful as the Griffonian Empire, but you still have a good amount of industry for a not too challenging time. Maybe I'll try the Monarch path at some point too.
I have the same problem myself. The first country I played was Lake City, because the EaW wiki recommended it for beginners. Chiropterra is also a personal favorite because of how unique it is. Both are small enough to be easy to manage but not so backward that it isn't fun. Both get to fight wars of expansion and have allies to shoulder the burden so it's unlikely you'll lose. Bakara and New Mareland if they break their respective alliances and go independent, both have a lot of fun alternate paths but are somewhat challenging (remember: the game settings are your friend!) Equestrian Civil War breakaways are interesting, but you probably won't survive if the winner of the war tries to reclaim you. I still think they're worth playing just for the novelty.
1:07 nonsense, there can never be too much lore when it comes to kids cartoons that have, for some unfathomable reason, become popular with audiences older than intended
Auto did not mention the secret paths on the same Zebrika, there are 4 of them, 2 of which are in countries that do not initially have focuses. Of these 4 secret paths, 2 can be stretched over 10 years. And the communist path of the Hypogriffs is generally one of the best countries in terms of development. I’ve always been playing on it for about 18 years, because the technologies that are in fashion and the tricks of the country themselves allow it. The best mod, I’ve been playing it for more than a year, it has long replaced my regular heart of iron 4. I never got tired of it
The only time I've played the mod is with a mod where it adds the US and 2 other human countries into it and you can liberate the Griffonian content for oil and stuff
Recommend trying the Escalation '84 submod for EAW, it adds humans into the world all across the continents (USSR and EU are on Equestria, America is on Griffonia, and there are more nations being added soon).
I wouldn’t say it’s the absolute best but Equestria at war is definitely up there with the best mods made for Hoi4, my fav country to play is Griffonian empire and I was surprised that it has lost unification content
@@Saffi____ yeah thats the one theres also another one called New German Order I think where its the same concept as Escalation 84 but with 1945 Germany That ones still in early development tho

Someone made a mod where you could bring a mustache man into MLP world.
something i love about equestria is the sheer ammount of references to hoi4 content, the entire TNO parts are awesome little treats
This and Fallout Old World Blues have crossovers with each other. Fantastic.
Equestria Girls is cannon to EaW since Sirenalia exists.
Sunset Shimmer exists. We know that there is a mirror world, it’s just not explained if it is as (that show) shows.
You forgot about the supremacist king sombra route for the crystal enpire
the crystal empire has fallen, billions must give up their magic
Even Stakuyi played this and had fun, it’s just objectively great stuff guys.
Shinji, Get in the VS Code.
Fun fact: as of right now, Azir on Zebrica has content. If this comment is how you are finding out about this, i encourage you to go play Azir right now and wait until October 1008 (fun things will start happening)
Good luck, and remember: the bell tolls for us all.
LET’S GO GAMBLING!

Colthage's goal is not to avoid collapse. Colthage's goal is TO collapse into civil war(s).
Still waiting for that Equestria Liberation Front video
Equestria Grirls is definitely part of the cannon due to the return of Sunset Shimmer for the Great War
And I thought TNO and Red Flood were schizophrenic
EVANGELION REFERENCE!!!!!
You left out the Sombra path for Crystal Empire.
Imagine working on the MLP cartoon and having a bunch of weird people demand you keep the world building consistent with the lore of a mod
My observations and corrections on this video:
0:36 While true, it isn’t too deep or anything, just mainly very important events in the history.
0:52 This is surprisingly wrong. You only really need a basic grasp of the show’s lore before hopping in, and even then you don’t really even need to, as so much is just made up by the devs. There’s even a playlist of all the episodes you need to watch if you really want to be caught up.
1:34 Azir jumpscare
2:57 Did you know that Nova Griffonia can become trademarked if you take a certain path in the focus tree?
Little does his man know there is a mod that brings Germany into equestrian.

@@justusP9101 from where?
@@R_TERRA916 well.. everywhere. Don’t you usually advertise some dutch cartoon?
@@justusP9101 Yes, I do.
It's called Ongezellig.

Hippogriffia has 20 different paths, but they are hidden. All states on Zebrica have many hidden paths.
Correction: all states with focus trees. Sadly, I am still waiting for the Storm King Successor Battle Royale
BTW the Realm of Kiria may be the greatest experience I've ever had in hoi4. Brilliant and incredibly dense lore with so many gameplay options it legitimately boggles the mind
The way bro talked about Zebrica he clearly hasn't played as the worm queen.
All praise the worms
It’s funny because eu4 has this in the form of anbennar without the bronies and half the interest
anbennar as way more recognition in the Europa community though where EaW as a lot of hate from people that have never play it because of the pony
The smoothest running mod for sure, no lag whatsoever
Since you missed it I suggest playing Tobuck, my fav nation by far, its replayability and writing is some of the best in the mod
Don’t forget, Hyperbearia in the mod proves the equestria girls world is canonically in the universe of the mod.
What remix of Die Young is the outro for this vid? Also great vid, I actually forgot about this mod until now, will give it a shot because I haven't played it since it got released.

@@hansenfoulken Cheerios man!
Red flood, makes hoi4 historically accurate
Would watch a 3 hour review video about this mod
You didn't mention the fact that you can do genocide with Hellquill
When i play the mode the war machine clicks in my head no happiness just war
The only reason I've bought hoi4. I have to play my Changelings.
(I suppose you play historical)
A fun country to play as is Polar Bears while submitting to changelings:
You do a bit of story of the path you chose, when changelings attacks you change path and have the madbear, if changelings starts to lose the great war you can straight up betray them and having another small path with some decisions.
Basically until the very end you can't lose
Both Chiropterra/(suprematist/militarists coup) Colthage are good:
You have some small wars and in the big one you get help from Wingbardy, if you can't naval invade Hippogriffs you can white peace while keeping the mainland
Aquileia/Griffinian Empire (non coup) both are pretty easy and simple
Bakara and New Mareland if they break their respective alliances and go independent, both have a lot of fun alternate paths but are somewhat challenging (remember: the game settings are your friend!)
Equestrian Civil War breakaways are interesting, but you probably won't survive if the winner of the war tries to reclaim you. I still think they're worth playing just for the novelty.
still waiting for someone to make a mod about roblox OH RIGHT THERE IS A CENTURA HOI4 BEING MADE
Equestria at war convinced me to watch my little pony. Good show 6/10.
lore...so much lore that if game theory ever had to stumble upon this
i dont even know what would happen
Six hour video?

curious
There is also the Escalation 84 sub mod that adds America, the USSR and the EU to Equestria at war
1:07 nonsense, there can never be too much lore when it comes to kids cartoons that have, for some unfathomable reason, become popular with audiences older than intended
I modded myself into that mod and modded custom 3d models for my army
Then I proceeded to invade everyone
I really wonder how other modders could compete
Auto did not mention the secret paths on the same Zebrika, there are 4 of them, 2 of which are in countries that do not initially have focuses. Of these 4 secret paths, 2 can be stretched over 10 years. And the communist path of the Hypogriffs is generally one of the best countries in terms of development. I’ve always been playing on it for about 18 years, because the technologies that are in fashion and the tricks of the country themselves allow it. The best mod, I’ve been playing it for more than a year, it has long replaced my regular heart of iron 4. I never got tired of it
Its like a mix of neon gensis and ponys and tno💀
From my experience, EAW only desyncs once during multiplayer, right at the beginning
There’s no reason why a MLP HOI4 mod should be this good.
The only time I've played the mod is with a mod where it adds the US and 2 other human countries into it and you can liberate the Griffonian content for oil and stuff
Was it Escalation '84?
@@twiface69 yes
Don't forget the post war tech trees for a full on Cold War experience.
One of my favorite features is how well balanced each reuin is before scaling up, it has the same intelligence as TNO russia, EVERYWHERE.
I hope to one day see the G5 events in Equestria At War
I EDGE TO MY LITTLE PONY 🎉🎉🎉🎉
If you fail you're a furry.
Correction equestria girls is canon due to sunset shimmer and the polaria girls in the polar bears occupation focus tree
Recommend trying the Escalation '84 submod for EAW, it adds humans into the world all across the continents (USSR and EU are on Equestria, America is on Griffonia, and there are more nations being added soon).
I did have issues running this mod with other mods, so it’s good to keep that in mind, otherwise this mod is the only reason I play hoi4 still
He didn't talk about the Dread League.......
I wouldn’t say it’s the absolute best but Equestria at war is definitely up there with the best mods made for Hoi4, my fav country to play is Griffonian empire and I was surprised that it has lost unification content
Your local OWB Dev here.
Declaring EAW the best HOI4 mod ever made insults me and the homies in OWB.
I think there is another mod that is MLP but there are also human nations. So humanity can finally conquer Equestria and forge a true empire.
Escalation 84?
@@DOppler-kr4hj That might actually be it. I haven't looked at it for a while so my memory is lacking.
@@Saffi____ yeah thats the one
theres also another one called New German Order I think where its the same concept as Escalation 84 but with 1945 Germany
That ones still in early development tho
@@Saffi____ I think that's an EaW submod. So you need regular EaW to run it, since it's just EaW with humans tacked on.
Wait till he hears about the German submod...
My fav was new marryland MARSOC focus is literally 1984💀
Hearing "TNO-Inspired" and "Hyperborea" in an mlp mod... just feels wrong ☠️
Ha, Aris doesn't get expansion, hah. It does, you just need to go down the hidden path to get it (tie in to EQ Girls). And nice shout out to the best nation with the best emperor.
To be honest im shocked the mlp community had enough overlap with hoi 4 for such a high quality and high effort mod to be made. Like. Christ
hansen you should play old world blues as the enclave its pretty fun
NGAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!
*rev up noises*

It's not equestria girls that is canon, it's kaiserreich so the portal that takes you to the equestria girls world in EAW takes you to Kaiserreich cuz of a april fools update
