    I no longer go to salons. After the last braid I had which I took out the braids the following day because it was pulling my hair, never again.

      Prepoo with penetrating oils. As shampoo is drying, always add aloe vera gel to your shampoo and a teaspoon of a light oil and honey or glycerin.

    Hope this message finds you well. Would you be able to describe or show pics of what your breakage looks like. I have too many in my opinion longer and shorter pieces. My hair isn't growing as fast as it used to. I'm moisturizing once a week, F.D and trying to be very careful. I also wear my hair in twists most of the time. Protein treatments aren't doing anything. I've been using a sulfate shampoo on my scalp only and a conditioner to wash. Or just doing an acv rinse. I've been using a homemade leAve in or just using water and a Shea butter mix. I've been praying about it and doing everything right. I'm seeing slips and try to cut them out. For the one's I don't see. My hair is breaking there. Plus I have 4b and 4c strands through out my hair. I want to reach my goal. Please help.

    • @DewwelUK
      @DewwelUK  3 роки тому +4

      Hi dear, l understand the frustration. I experienced a lot of breakage too. My solution was protective styles. They saved me. Also try to find out when your hair breaks & what causes the breakage? Eg does your hair break on washdays? During detangling? This will help you to avoid the breakage. Then moisturise a lot. I do about 3 times a/week sometimes more😇but my hair respond well. Broken hair is often short pieces of hair without a white tip. If its got a tip its shedding. I also had VERY uneven hair but l grew this out using long term protective styles. It worked. I hope you will achieve your hair goals. Keep at it.😀
