Hope this message finds you well. Would you be able to describe or show pics of what your breakage looks like. I have too many in my opinion longer and shorter pieces. My hair isn't growing as fast as it used to. I'm moisturizing once a week, F.D and trying to be very careful. I also wear my hair in twists most of the time. Protein treatments aren't doing anything. I've been using a sulfate shampoo on my scalp only and a conditioner to wash. Or just doing an acv rinse. I've been using a homemade leAve in or just using water and a Shea butter mix. I've been praying about it and doing everything right. I'm seeing slips and try to cut them out. For the one's I don't see. My hair is breaking there. Plus I have 4b and 4c strands through out my hair. I want to reach my goal. Please help.
Hi dear, l understand the frustration. I experienced a lot of breakage too. My solution was protective styles. They saved me. Also try to find out when your hair breaks & what causes the breakage? Eg does your hair break on washdays? During detangling? This will help you to avoid the breakage. Then moisturise a lot. I do about 3 times a/week sometimes more😇but my hair respond well. Broken hair is often short pieces of hair without a white tip. If its got a tip its shedding. I also had VERY uneven hair but l grew this out using long term protective styles. It worked. I hope you will achieve your hair goals. Keep at it.😀
@@DewwelUK Same... I really wish I had your density and thickness. Its very hard having fine, low density, high porosity hair.. My hair is so breakable even when it's completely healthy. Its like one wrong move can erase years of hard work and length.
Ive had experiences like that so l try & avoid doing what my hair doesn't like. I tried rice water once & l lost soo much hair 😫. Just keep learning your hair it will improve
@@DewwelUK Thanks much for the advice. I lost a lot of hair after covid as well. So I'm literally starting all over after reaching waist length and losing it.. But I like your channel, very inspirational. Thanks
I. Used every product on my hair nothing never ever get my hair soft…..n my hair shed I’m wonder n how I still have hair on my head…. My hair must be 4D
Hi, keep looking & trying products, youll eventually find something that works. You can try Dewwel Leave In Conditioner thats what keeps my daughters 4c hair managable. 4d hair l can relate 😆
@@ciarafrancix1751 you can grow them out in protective styles coupled with the moisturising. Might not be possible to get rid of them 100% but they can be reduced.
She is absolutely right. Growing up, my mother never trimmed ends, I barely had split ends. N a 6ear ago I was doing it. My ends were not bad at all. I would apply moisture and add extra 2 my ends. I got stuck into all these trends that may have worked for someone
@@DewwelUK I finger detangled for two months and when I used comb days ago I lost a lot of hair because I hadn't detangled much for months and I got scared
I no longer go to salons. After the last braid I had which I took out the braids the following day because it was pulling my hair, never again.
I know, its better to do your own hair because you've got control. All the best with your hair
1)get to know your scalp & hair 2)technique & handling 3)products & tools 4)protective styles 5)patience
Thank you.

Thanks for sharing this useful information ..
much welcome!
My hair is very dry and also at the roots when hair is wet water do not stay dry up quickly .What shampoo would you recommend
Hi, Tressemme naturals moisture shampoo its very good for dry hair
use light shampoo only to clean your scalp/roots and then conditioner your hair then use leave in deep conditioner!
Prepoo with penetrating oils. As shampoo is drying, always add aloe vera gel to your shampoo and a teaspoon of a light oil and honey or glycerin.
Very beautiful hair ❤️
Thank you!! l appreciate.
Yes, lm very happy you did this video😍😍😍
