@@bosco5811 Okay, so, not a show, and not exactly this dynamic, but I think the Telltale Batman games did the Joker well, not some incredible masterpiece or anything, very buggy at times, typical telltale inconsequential choices when it came to certain plot points, but one thing they nailed, was the dynamic between Batman/Bruce and Joker/John, moreso in season 2: The Enemy Within, especially if you go the route of trying to be his friend and lead him down the "good guy" path. For all that game series' shortcomings, the friendship between the two was damn near perfect. There is a lot of typical Telltale stuff, but, I actually enjoyed the way they did the Bruce/Batman story balance, and some of your choices actually do matter. Especially involving Joker. It was worth it just for the relationship between them.
You definitely missed part of the point on their "relationship". Batman could exist without the Joker but the Joker couldn't without Batman. In some cases he wants to entertain him, in some he wants batman to break his no-killing rule. Over the year he developed a kind of sick almost love like feeling towards batman. They have clashed so many times and yet batman never killed him. That makes Joker think that they have a kind of ying-yang kind of relationship, because of the balance of good and evil and because they cannot be separated. But this need for the other is very one sided

@@bosco5811 Okay, so, not a show, and not exactly this dynamic, but I think the Telltale Batman games did the Joker well, not some incredible masterpiece or anything, very buggy at times, typical telltale inconsequential choices when it came to certain plot points, but one thing they nailed, was the dynamic between Batman/Bruce and Joker/John, moreso in season 2: The Enemy Within, especially if you go the route of trying to be his friend and lead him down the "good guy" path. For all that game series' shortcomings, the friendship between the two was damn near perfect. There is a lot of typical Telltale stuff, but, I actually enjoyed the way they did the Bruce/Batman story balance, and some of your choices actually do matter. Especially involving Joker.
It was worth it just for the relationship between them.
You definitely missed part of the point on their "relationship". Batman could exist without the Joker but the Joker couldn't without Batman. In some cases he wants to entertain him, in some he wants batman to break his no-killing rule. Over the year he developed a kind of sick almost love like feeling towards batman. They have clashed so many times and yet batman never killed him. That makes Joker think that they have a kind of ying-yang kind of relationship, because of the balance of good and evil and because they cannot be separated. But this need for the other is very one sided
@@mansifacio5458 Ah, I get that. But Batman has laughed with the Joker before when him laughing is as rare as a blue moon, so I guess you could say he's used to him like an old pal.
@@spaghetto9836 in that situation, when he laughed, it wasn't because he thought the joke was funny, but out of empathy, realizing that the two are the same person with differentl outcomes. He laughs with him because in that situation he wasn't trying to beat the Joker, but get through to him
