@jyotsnamuppala2888 when you hug the kid while throwing a tantrum you promote the tantrum. You need to stay calm and show him how to control big emotions, and when he manages to actually control them, when he laughs or stays calm and communicates then you hug him. You reward when the kid learns something new, cooperates and manages his emotions. The mom here does a great job, the kid will be more mature than other adults in his life.

After watching your videos. I had an insight about babies/children. About their growing pains... physical and mental and unable to express what that is. It makes so much sense now. I love the way you don't allow their emotions to draw you in. Instead lead them out of it. With your temperament.

I love this ❤ it brought tears to my eyes because when i was a kid my brother and i used to get told off for showing emotions and we got punished. We would get told we cant have want we want/need and just have to suffer until we are allowed it because we were the child and they were the adults. Seeing parents like this teaching kids how to take care of their own needs and how to regulate is so beautiful 🥲 most people say this is what makes kids grow up to be snowflakes but actually it doesn't. we need more parents like this 🙏🏻💕

We had time out corner but it was a feelings corner. When emotions were big and you needed to step back and calm yourself. Had many incidences where I'd find my kids in that corner. They would tell me they got in a fight with their sister or got angry and felt like pushing their brother. They chose the amount of time they needed. Each of my kids are very open with their communications and feelings. They never got in trouble growing up. They aren't alcoholics or drug addicts. They have good jobs, good relationships, good credit-and they regularly come to me for advice. I didn't have the secretive teenage stage. They trusted my judgement, knew I would get it. You don't have to be strict, you have to be available.

😂Watch out for "trigger words" though.
I've known some little ones if you said "tired" or "take nap" would move from big emotions to hysteria because they recognized the trajectory towards going to bed and they hated to go to bed.🙄But Sweet Momma here, good job.🙂🙂
