In my BB30A set up, my FSA bearings were toast in 6-7 months. They started clicking and creaking. Not good. I got them replaced, and the outside faces were actually going rusty. I thought they were supposed to be stainless steel? Anyway, now I have a completely new set, do we will see how they last. I'm ordering some NSK brand spares too. I have a feeling I may need to swap them out somewhat regularly.
The old bearings where shot i had trouble to spin the crank,it was almost locked. The new bearings are smooth just need to be riden a bit and they where spinning great later, never had a problem since
The tool to put on is the press tool from wheels manufacturing Press-7 , but you dont need absolutely this tool, you can take a r socket that fit the size of the besring and jsut hammer it gentely
Your crank is not spinning. The problem can be badly tolerated bearings, badly tolerated BB or incorrect pressing of bearings. This will lead to a very bad bearing life, loss of many watts and eventually creaking. I can even see from the video, that the bb area is not round. Typical Cannondale finishing...
Very talented guy video editing along with mechanical abilities thanks
Awesome video! Satisfying to watch and informative. What is the torque used for reinstalling the crank arm?
Wow what a mesmerizing video!!

New bearings, ride them and it will spin better.
