It starts with the Bible which is a book about us, civilization, all people. Aside from that , we need to find our own truth that has been manipulated and hidden and omitted from the Bible, and many other scrolls and books and misconstrued to the benefit of the powers that be. Being rooted and grounded in love and faith , and killing your ego , and leading daily with your heart is the foundation and the beginning of all wisdom , imo .
