OK the video. The video was shot on one camera, that was at the back off the hall, and it's also the camera which recorded the sound, hence why the sound is the way it is. It's done by a friend of the bands, who has permission to do it, they should a few during the lockdown period, as a live stream, with the band chatting with the fans as the video was shown.
Also the 2nd track is not Revadac, the follow up to Cadaver, it's a song called La voix du sang, which was played much later in the show. You'll see the Fuki, Jill and Shiren are now wearing T-shirts, which they do in their encores.
They tend to sound better live, than the studio, but when they have set it up with more than 1 camera, and the sound coming from the mixer desk.
Shiren has a headless guitar because of an injury, tendonitis in his arm/wrist, which can cause him a lot of pain. So he now uses the headless guitar so it's less wait for him to carry. In this video he was sitting down, now he has a stand which he uses for about 1/2 the show, as he is slowly getting better, as he has learnt how to manage it.. It's a condition which almost made him give up music altogther.

It's such a lavish experience to see them live. Powerful, piercing, clear vocals paired with the baddest guitar and violin leads and an amazing rhythm section-you can never get enough of it. They are incredible! How about 'Black Pentagram' (live version) for your next UM journey?

Oh wow thanks for reacting to this! This is why I mentioned the MV when I suggested this (Revadac is Cadaver backwards, like the song when they play it backwards btw) as unfortunately doesn't have good enough audio to show off the ability of this band. I hope you react to more of them in all their forms (Quadratum, Unholy Orpheus, etc) and see everyone soloing as they are great musicians. Fuki (the singer) is in a class of her own and has collabed with most of the Japanese music industry. As far as I know they are a full on indie band, were always writing and producing their music and shows, and still are.
PS I just noticed the second song (I was writing this as I was watching) is not Revadac but another banger called La Voix du Sang FYI
Fantastic band! Fuki is one of a kind! She's also in DOLL$BOXX that are doing a comeback later this year (that's Gacharic Sping + Fuki) I love Fuki's Enka style vocals.

The reverse rotation in the second half of the song is a bit different. You can see the exact reverse rotation in the official music video.
Glad you got to one of my recommendations, haven't heard this live version. I would have chosen the MV for a better mix. Yes, they play the melody backwards hence Cadaver Revadac. Jill, the violinist is one of the best in Japan. Recommend Black Pentagram next - Music Video.
You guys pick the wrong video, this is not the official live video, is just a fan made one, but the reaction was great and please do more of them, this band is soooo underrated and soooo talented, they for me are like a Gothic Avenged Sevenfold

Never clicked on that version, because I assumed it's from their Blu-Ray of that year, but it sound's like it's from another concert and only recorded with the camera's mike, without any mixing. That would explain the bad sound, but it also gives it some rawness, the songs with post production do not have. Maybe not the best pick for a first contact, and more interesting for fans who also like to hear and see some raw footage. Also, the second song is another song (La Voix du Sang), not Revadac. But I still think the backwards version is the better one, so you got that one right without even hearing it 🤣

Black Pentagram live is a great starting point for this band and has better sound quality than this recording.

It's not a horrible mix, it's just recorded directly though a camera and not through the sound board and the guy on the back is the guitar tech and the guy with the short guitar is the composer and he had a wrist injury at that time which is why he was using that guitar. Also I can't really tell what you heard that was off key, they are pretty on point.
Also this isn't the right video for CADAVER/REVADAC, the second song here is an entirely different song and not REVADAC, there are 2 official videos published by the band with the right songs together with the official mix and even one including the sheetmusic so I don't know how you managed to choose the only video of them taken by someone's camera from the crowd performing in a small venue when they have actual official videos with multi camera angles and an actual mix lol

what I'm saying is that this isn't the right video since the song you listen to is called "La voix du sang" as the title of the original video indicates which is not the suggested REVADAC song. Also this is not a pro recording of the live, it is a video and audio recording from a camera in the audience so you aren't really listening to the mix but just whatever the camera caught up from the instruments (which is obvious when you hear it). And they actually have more popular video (1+ million views) with the actual correct songs with an actual official mix.
I know it is maybe just a mistake and It is not that big of a deal, just funny how you somehow picked out the one video they have that is not a pro recording but recorded by a fan and features the wrong song lol, so I commented to clarify stuff

Bad thing that the sound quality doesn’t do justice to Fuki and the band.
I think thats just the "normal" mix you get to hear in the audience which we get from the speakers, and not the clean fine-tuned mix we get now often on "official live videos" that i recorded directly from the input devices, like in a studio and mostly also extra mixed and overworked to sound nearly like from a studio recording.
For example here are also 2 videos from Lovebites concerts that were made out of the audience, and what of course in no way sounds as perfect as their official live videos we all have seen :

its still good but not as perfect of course when its all directly mixed from the input sources compared to what we get out of the speakers.
Ok, i didn't directly noticed that this was called an "official live video", so yeah, for that its quite bad since its more just like a good fan video i would say, and my initial text was more based on that assumption.

Indeed, what terrible mix! How can that be an official live video??? There are much better clips of this song. Even the MV is much better to watch! Anyway and amazing band that I have bought a lot from lately. Japan has become a collectors nightmare...
