My next lens.. I too had the Tamron 28-75.. but the focus was not there..... I returned it... GREAT video THANK YOU!
What lens are you using in this video?
It’s a fantastic lens, had the same issue with the dust. Apparently they’ve trying to fix the issue and store are happy to replace the units
Better then the Tamron 28-75 F/2.8 ?
I agree 💯 bro. 🤙
YES!
Hey Chris, nice input. How about dust inside the lens. I use a lot my gear while traveling in harsh conditions sometimes. I'm worried about dust inside 😢
can u do a in depth comparison with it over the 24-70 g master lens.
Off of yours and Fro Knows Photos recommendation I want to get t this lens. Went to get it the other day and they were sold out. I just heard today there is a dust issue with this lens. Do you know anything about that dust issue? Never mind. You cover that later in the video. Thank you.
will get it soon
Great video! How does it compare to Sony 24-105 F4? Does F2.8 worth the extra 35 mm reach?
I have the same question. No one seems to know the right answer....Every one is quiet!😢
I have the 24-105 f/4 and the extra reach plus OSS for handheld is far more worth it to me personally.
I agree but yh - I Own 24-70mm GM (been using for 4 year's now)
.
.
I only own 1 lens 😊📷
I can seriously feel identified with the primes. Most(all) of my lenses are prime cause i just love the performance and weight of them but lately been doing more landscape photography and changing lenses is not ideal in some places so I pull the trigger on this puppy and it is super sharp. I do have a question though, have you seen more dust in your lens since this review?
By the way, keep up the awesome work!
If Autofocus on gimbal and sharpness is the main factor and not to worry about the price. Should I get Sigma or GM?
Gm
Would you recommend this for portraits ?
I can't thank you enough for this video. I was in a fix between purchasing this same combo or go with the gm. but that dust issue was eating my brains out. From your video it doesn't seem very serious issue..thank you.. I will be using the rest of the $$$ for a gimbal or maybe get the new cf express type a
Welcome, definitely try it out. The Dust issue is blown way out of proportion i think,
Great video man!
Appreciate it!
Thanks for the video Chris. I love watching your videos, straight and to the point with no BS to draw things out. Still waiting for the A7S3 for photos video from you ;) be nice if you took the photo's with this lens. Just saying hahah.
All in good time :)
looking forward to buy this lens. But i am still waiting for the a7iv release. DO you think this lens is good on an APSC? I am currently using a6500
Strong agree on this one
Bought this with My a7s iii. Really great value
It really is
Just got this as my first lens for my A7SIII for exactly the versatility as a main lens. Hoping to add the Sony 20mm and 85mm lenses for more specific situations later which I think will complement this lens quite nicely.
have you had any dust issue with this lens?
You know what REALLY does it all...the Tammy 28-200mm 2.8-5.6. Yeah, it covers a huge range, which is also scary, and not a fixed aperture, but I mean....
Everything I need is my Planar 50/1.4. One lens for everything. I shoot portraits and portraits only, don't need other lenses :D
is there a lens out there where the f2.8 aperture is not fixed and still has a 24-70mm zoom?
It is not fixed, he means the minimum is not changing when zooming like it does in some cheaper zoom lenses
Are there any Full Frame 24-70 lenses that have Image Stabilization at constant 2.8 for E-Mount?
I am thinking of picking up this lens soon. I have heard about dust issues on the lens. Has it been addressed by sigma?
Love the setup! 😍 I’d also love the be able to afford it 🤣🤣 I use the A6000 with the Sigma 16mm F1.4 ☺️
