I learned about you for the first time today, and I instantly fell in love with your amazing photos and the combination of equipment you use. I hope your videos become known to more people. From a Japanese middle school student. By the way, I translated this into English using a translation tool. I'm still not very good at English (lol).
living in a city like this is literally a cheatcode for street photography, came to see the performance of the a7iv (currently deciding between it and the A7RV), stayed for the charismatic guy, great video :)
@@panzer3279 are you sure? Didn’t notice that was confirmed. Also I’m already on Sony and very happy with it. Switching would be very pointless in my situation and I’m just really happy with Sony until now. I find canon too clunky and the fact that There is basically no third party selection of lenses is a no go for me. And I don’t even spend a thought on Nikon.
@@stephenwav If you're already on Sony, no need to switch to Canon (I assumed you were buying for the first time). But you should wait. Sony will announce a7v this December (according to rumours) and launch in Q1 next year. If it's urgent, you can definitely buy now.
Your POV street photography videos are always incredible, they got me into photography recently and Im learning so much just by observing the way you approach your composition
Ultra portable is my way to go now. So I just got the Sony ZV1 with the same type of rotating pop out LCD screen and same focal length 24 - 70mm lens but it's f1.8 to f2.8, and fits easily in my pocket! Love it! I always have it with me. I'll tell ya... I have watched a TON of videos, by many photographers on UA-cam, and you are one of the only channels I've subscribed to! It's because of these videos where you take us with you to the streets and show us your composition of each photo. Seeing the before and after with your preset... Is Awesome! Please keep doing this exact type of video. It's so helpful for me! 😎🤘
Because of your videos I started to break out of the "shooting at the widest aperture" habbit. Everyone is running after the shallowest depth of field when in reality photography doesn't care too much about that
nice spots to take photos, i think a 70-200 shot with a person standing in the middle of the frame at this eifel tower spot would be really ideal if zoomed in all the way to 200 one shot with the tower in focus and the person in the foreground and one the other way round
Great content and pics as always! I don't know why but I was getting a bit of anxiety at around 1:10 when you kept checking your shots near that railing. I kept expecting you to tilt the lens down onto the spike. 😬🤣
I currently own the a6700 with the sigma 18-50 and it seem that this setup (A7IV + sigma 24-70) is it’s big brother and i’m on the fence to upgrade But given the price difference, do you really think there is that much of an image quality difference ? Especially only for posting on socials ? As you tried both i’m curious about your thoughts
Hi Curtis....I'm currently using the a6700 / Sigma 10-18 2.8 / 18-50 2.8 / Sony 70-350. As a stills user, is there much difference in image quality / dynamic range and low light to the A7IV?? Worth the upgrade?? cheers!
Hey Great POV, Can you do a POV with sony 18-105 F4? What do you think of this lens? Please make a video related to this Lens. I am owning this lens. It is a very good versatile lens. Thanks. All the best.👍
Stumbled to your video and loved it ! i am also visiting Paris soon and struggling if i should get the Sigma 24-70 2.8 II or the Sigma 28-70 (or Tamron 28-75), was leaning towards the Sigma 28-70 due to its light weight and price , but after seeing your video , makes me think if i would also need the 24mm. What is your opinion ? thank you
May be a dumb question 😂, but have you used the a7cii before? I just bought it as my first camera and have been loving it. I paired it with the Sony 50 F 1.8, the 250 dollar/cheapest lens they had and have gotten really good results with it! 😀
here a question I never asked to someone, if we consider shooting modes "S", "A", "M", and "P", how often do you use each one? I personally go for "M" with auto iso 70% of the time, 25% in "A", very rarely in "S" and never in "P".
i use S when it’s low lighting area with keep on changing lighting condition but i need to take picture of moving subjects, like kids, in the crowd. So i use S and lock my shutter speed to suitable for human movement and let the camera adjust the rest.
@@Martynas_RStill a very nice camera body, just not as new and not as many new features and options. I love mine. Don't use it much anymore unless I'm going out specifically to shoot. Just really into always having a great camera in my pocket literally everywhere I go, so I just got a cherry used Sony ZV1. Such a treat to use with all it's wonderful options like these large cameras have, with a f1.8 lens, but pocketable! 👍😁
Yes in most scenarios I have started doing so, gonna be dropping a full breakdown and setup up guide in next week or so explaining how I set up my cameras for street photography 📸🚀

hey which one did u end up buying?
@@rsvii2524 haven’t bought it yet but I will go with the 7iv because everything I see out of this camera looks absolutely stunning
@@stephenwav Sony a7v is coming next year. Maybe wait for that or get Canon R6ii or Nikon Z6iii. Both of them are superior to a7iv.

When shooting outside like this, do you typically expose for the highlights or the entire scene?

Will you ever use an X-T4 to do street photography? Or have you and I haven’t watched all your videos yet?? 😳
Excellent work as always sir.
