making the time meter speed up when it's a layered vocal makes absolutely no sense because the member doesn't actually sing twice it's literally the same line with layered vocals, this counting is not wise to say the least
Logically is not singing twice but said harmonies are still recorded by the same member but with a different tone and pitch, so that's why is counted multiple times
the layers are sang (and recorded) not in the same way as the melody of the said line so it makes sense that they are counted separately. the better argument is if it is wise to recount the same line and its layers when it shows up again in the song (for example, the chorus) when the singing's only recorded once 😅 but i'm not here to argue about that, i agree with how everything's counted here.
